Thank you for sharing sis! Super relatable, I took my NCLEX, IELTS 2007 and my VS expired. I decided to give up my application when my father passed away and I couldn’t leave my mom behind. A lot of years passed, I did utilization review up to the present and never thought I’d eventually get married. This time my husband applied, currently we are waiting for fee bills to be paid by his agency. Praying for great news anytime soon. Thanks for inspiring nurses with your content. Niceee! In God’s time po talaga. Need talaga ng prayers and discernment sa decision natin kasi it is a big change coming here in US. Same po sakin, my dad passed away din 2018 so medjo emotional din at that time. Stay safe po and hoping for the best sainyo ng husband niyo 😊😊😊

Hello Hindi po ako masyado active lately sa account but hoping this would still help. No need na po renew, once you passed that’s it. It’s a matter kung when ma activate license mo or if active man, to keep it active. This depends per state 🙂
Hi Ms. Alma do you know any agencies or hospitals here in US that direct hire Filipino nurses directly. I'm currently here in US right now as US citizen don't know if I will just let my brother come over VACATION and we will look for agency in person here in US hoping to be interviewed. My brother passed NCLEX and he is working on his IELTS now. Salamat po
Hello po I am not sure how that works po, because the concern will be how long and what type of visa the hospital will provide your brother po. I am not an expert on visas - but, I know that the visa for immigrant nurses is EB3 (permanent resident/ greencard). If your brother is a filipino citizen then he will still have to be under the Philippine EB3 processing time po. He can probably can come here and be interviewed, but I am not sure when he can start to work since his working visa/ permanent resident visa still needs to be processed.
In terms of direct hire: I was under wwhss which is a direct hire company. Connetics USA is another direct hire company po na alam ko that processed some of my previous co workers visas.
Hello po Wla po kming hazard pay since hindi po ako sa covid area. But since I am a direct hire, buo ko po nakukuha ang salary ko with the night differentials and holiday pay and OT rate - same ng mga staff nurses na hired from US.
Under the same agency as you po. Can you share po ma'am about ano po na reimburse sayo ng agency or employer? and kelan niyo po nakuha? Was it whole amount or staggered po? Thank you.
Hello Once I started working po I submitted the receipts of my IELTS, VISA screen, application fees ng license endorsement. It took probably mga 3 weeks to process pero nabigay naman po ng buo. :)
ate can you choose po an institution/hospital if you go through a direct hire agency? i want to work po in nyc particularly nyu langone or presbyterian sana

If under agency you have to tell them early on before ka mag sign if they ared tied up with hospitals in NY as it is your preferred state. :)
