HELLO FRIENDS! So we were itching to whip up another batch of franken makeup, and we realized lip glosses had escaped our grasp up until this point - but not anymore! So yet again, we raided Sephora, buying one of each lip gloss they had in stock and then mixing them all together into one franken-batch to rule them all. What did you think of our final color?

Lip gloss will always have a special place in my heart as a clear gloss was the only makeup I was allowed to wear for many years. And even now many many years later a clear gloss is still a staple in my makeup routine.
Safiya is the only RUclipsr I still and will continue to watch from my childhood.

Ya'll NEED to do this with lip balms. It would be soooo satisfying to see those expensive Tom Ford glitters mixed with all the new peptide balms! And you could put them into little pots at the end that have a bat stickers :) It would also be a fun experiment in texture, and I would give me another one of these mixing videos to rewatch

Well, it’s 1 point for every dollar, and sometimes more if there’s a points multiplier event. The average lipgloss at Sephora is around $20, and could be anywhere from $10 to $35, so it’s safe to say that Saf could buy anything she wants (in perpetuity) from the rewards bazaar!

It’s so funny that this series is called “bad makeup science” when the actual science in these videos is so good! Y’all are always so thorough with the breakdowns of shades and finishes, the “wearability” tests, and the dupe searching. When you said that you started the Series 5 years ago, my jaw dropped. I remember the first video in this series and to think that was 5 years ago just blows my mind. I was in class watching your videos, and now here I am 5 years later still watching them before I go to my full time job as a medial device packer. Crazy how fast time flies when you get older. 😅
