@Unifyyyyyyy at least you spelled Palangi right this time. I'm going to have a great life here in Tonga, I hope you have a great life in the Philippines, please show me your progress as you watch Mines. Ofa Atu, Toko
40 yr lease, I'll be long gone by then, But my family will be enjoying what I build for years to come after my death , if they don't acquire ownership of the property through my wife's Tongan nationality, and one of my seven sons filing for the property
@@terrywallace6110 Palangi don’t ever forget too that humility or humbleness is a quality Tongans admire. Had you sailed into Nuku’alofa on a multi-million dollar yacht with containers full to brimming with your prefab Airbnb houses and gifts/grifts galore for all Nukunuku and for Nobleman Tu’ivakano rather than the suto foot patrol then beat the village lali and church bells of Nukunuku and bull horn announce your “money”. Far better to come in and humbly sit in the back and be asked to come sit and speak at the honored pulpit than to strut to the front and then be ushered outside the building to the parking lot dumpster.
Property lessee is not a property owner. Only Tongans can own property in Tonga as instituted in the 1875 Constitution of that there Kingdom our ill informed palagi. Now if the nobleman sold his land to your cousin of Tongan blood then he’s the property owner and you are a business partner of the property owner. Facts are crucial as words have tremendous power.
You're singing to the choir I know these laws but who's going to tell me what to do on my leased land for the next 40 years, and my son's that are tongan can come here and file with their tongan Born mother and file for that property and the Noble who knows who her grandparents whole family are can grant the land to my son and wife, not misinformed palangi, just predicting my future. Here with my Nationally born nuku nuku wife
And if I wanted a tongan business partner it would have been a lot faster and cheaper than the money I put up to file my foreign investment company here, and the headache that came with it at MTED, Already knowing that my wife and son can own the property, in the future, for from misinformed, just confident in my tactics.
@ Facts are still facts and a property lessee is still not a “property owner” (your words) no matter how long the lease is signed for as public record. It’s in the best interest of the nobleman to only lease that property on his estate. This too is factual. Your wife has inheritance land in the village and hopefully the bush too, but often the bush acreage is handed down only through direct lineage heirs only as being an island nation there’s only so much acres to go around. Hence the large diaspora in Aotearoa, Aussie, Canada, and America. Again, words have tremendous power. Intelligence brings light and truth thusly hence illuminating darkness.
For a matter of fact I would love to have you come and stay at my airbnb homes when I have them established for one week free of charge, and talk politics , about all the hands I greased while I got what I came here to accomplish for my wife children and grandchildren.
