I may be late commenting on this video and maybe no one will see this comment, but I come here every morning and every day because of my depression. This soothing music helped me a lot. I just wanted to say thank you for letting me get through the tough times.
I too find Luke's videos lift my spirit. Love hearing the rain and when he eats and enjoys his meals, I have to run to the kitchen for a snack! Take care friend and don't let the world get you down.
I too like to watch this channel for the same reasons and l always listen to soothing and relaxing music (rain on a tin roof sounds great too.) every day to help me relax and unwind. I don't suffer from depression these days but l did have terrible bouts in my past. I eventually rid myself of the causes of my depression and anxiety attacks. It wasn't easy but the benefits were worth the effort. My life is less troublesome and complicated and life is so good now.
I listen to this every morning. And all of you who are reading this right now, I know it's a hard time. but keep pushing on! Don't give up. life isn't perfect, but some moments are better than others
Luke: Bigfoot don’t like lawnmowers! 😂 I’m one of those people who emailed on the Bigfoot subject, and you kindly responded… so thankyou to you and Susie for your hard work on those thousands of emails 👍
Hey my name is Stephan and I just want to thank you for all of your content. Not only is it entertaining and informative, it is particularly useful for me... Going through a lot these days more than you could comprehend but it causes me to have insomnia. Watching your videos puts my mind at ease so I could get some sleep. Thank you again and continue the amazing work.
It’s funny you mentioned the Coleman six person tent….about 20 years go I got one. I have to tell you that this tent has been through rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, hail, ice and snow (@18degrees) and it’s still going strong! 😂
Luke its great that you stay apolitical. People as well as myself come to your channel to get away from that nonsense. I dont know how many channels i have stopped watching and unsubbed because they decided to go that route. I dont know and I dont care what your politics are. All I know is your a good dude who does honest reviews and thats good enough for me. I cant always get to the woods when I want so I tag along with you. Many thanks to you and Kitty (sorry I took the liberty 😊)
100%. There’s some what I think were great channels that let drop political comments in a few times and I just thought ‘I’m out: I watch for the content not your political views’
Luke, thank you for showing us the shed. I watch the episode of your overnight adventure there over and over again. If you get a chance, please give us another episode. That stove is so cool. Thank You!
Luke, tarps make great shelters. One question: Why don't you use a ridgeline? I always use a ridgeline. A taut ridgeline using prusicks knots, will give a tarp the support it needs. Two trees, a length of paracord, or rope, with the tarp stretched tight over it. Stake out the corners & sides. It's faster to erect, far more weatherproof, and easier to take down. Try it, and see which deploys better, and provides better shelter. Thanks for the videos... I enjoy them.
Toyota all the way I'm 65 years old my yaris I bought new in 2008 after my husband passed away is over 100,000 and still goin strong I sure love watchin you and suzy when she can come along my husband and I used to camp a lot he was a veteran served in the army in germany the cold war he was multi amputee but he never let that hold him back I know this is long I'm sorry but I just wanted to share he would go out in his motorized wheelchair and fly down hills climb hills turn the chair over turn it back up put the batteries in it and away he went so when I watch your videos it brings wonderful memories back and I thank you for that also you can spread lye on the ground and it helps with ticks please put repellent on when yall are up there deer ticks can cause lyme disease trust me you dont want that again sorry it's so long but prayers for safe travels and blessings for yall 🇱🇷🦌⛺🚙
You know, as an official old guy now, who doesn't respond as well any more to the ground. This would be my dream set up. And just YES to big tarps. Been in these rains in all kinds of rain gear, tarps, plastic sheeting, all kinds of tents. And none of the above. Yep. This is my dream set up! Great video. May have to play it again later when I try to get to sleep!
Ticks are carriers of diseases. I once met a cattle rancher who a year after we met, was bit by ticks and contracted both Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain spotted Fever. That gentleman died from the effects of having both diseases together and he was not a young man. Glad you will be doing more medium and larger tent reviews. I so enjoy seeing the differences and many types and models of tents.
I find myself watching more and more of your videos, my husband and I are real fans! I also find myself worrying about your safety and Susan's safety while you're out on these trips, be safe and thanks for showing us how wonderful the great outdoors really is.
Thank God i found your channel.. I've searching.. You are one of mya husband fav youtuber.. He always watched all your videos.. But sadly.. He passed away 2yrs ago.. But, i will continue watching your videos.. ❤
i think all tent company's need someone like you Luke to give their products a real world review. they should not be afraid of you, they should embrace you. after all they are going to end up with a better product in the end as well improving their profit margin.
I see you have some tent stakes, (spelled right this time) that I saw in the Korean camping adventures. Have fun on this rainy trip. The rain and storms are the sound I go to sleep by.
The bigfoot stuff was great. I don't go backpacking all that often, so I am not as in-tune with nature as a lot of folks are, but I always thought it was funny where I would be laying there in my tent at dawn, and I would hear noises and I am like - Bigfoot! I zip the window open a bit and it's just a deer. Or when I would be deer hunting and I would hear the most godawful crashing through the trees and a squirrel comes scampering by instead. 😆
I 100% agree with you. You really can’t beat a tarp set up. My fiancé and I have one that goes along the back of a vehicle. We used it on the back of her old grand Cherokee, but we’ve used it with her new or Subaru cross track, and it was just as great. I really love the idea of setting up a tent underneath a tarp if you’re gonna be there for more than one day. But for our trip from San Diego, up to Oregon and back, the tarp at various parts of the car, when we decided to just sleep in it a couple times was perfect. Couldn’t have been more happy.
I guess it’s not necessarily exactly true, I am in the market for a newer tarp only because this one is designed in a way that isn’t super universally adaptive. Meaning that it has a much narrower side to it that attaches to the car but doesn’t have a lot of overhang. Space, which has required me to have to be a little more creative when there’s been bad weather, but it’s still a great quality tarp, and is some thing that I am really looking forward to doing more with.
Also tuning in a little late, just wanted to say that your videos are always great. The ‘spice rack’ at 24:54 is genius! I can imagine that you put forth a lot of time and effort in making these presentations. Just know that is truly and greatly appreciated, Luke. Thank you so much. Now if I could just get motivated to get out there and camp…..
Agree, with the large tent. Mine is an REI Kingdom 8. If I go out with that monster, I'm not coming out for a while. It's my tend version of glam camping with a cot, heater, table, and chair. If I'm out for a day or two, Its normally a backpacking tent.. Thanks for making the video Luke.
100% Tacoma! I traded my 2014 Tacoma for my 2018 Tundra Crewmax TRD. Absolutely the most comfortable truck ever, and 100% solid. Thanks for another great video!
I always smile when you bring out that stove. Of all the equipment you have used over the years you bring out the cheap one like I got $25 a few years ago. Good equipment doesnt always have to cost a fortune. I feel like no always learn something new from you. Happy trails
I'm looking forward to how the OneTigris Cometa works out for you. I've bought mine some time ago and have had it on a couple of trips already. The last one had quite a bit of rain and I did not notice any leaks. I did find water pooling in the middle of the top, but had I staked it out better maybe I could have pulled it tight enough to eliminate that. Overall the design of the Cometa is interesting to me, coming from a single person backpacking setup I don't know what to do with all the extra space the Cometa offers. There are some missing features though, for example there is only one loop to hang a light from on one end. If there was a loop on either end something like the Haven RidgeLight would be wonderful in this tent.
I’m the complete opposite person than you lol but I watch all your content. I don’t go camping but one day I might need to know how to survive off the land. Great content‼️💯
I'm still using a handful of Coleman products that have lasted for literally three generations. I have a Coleman lantern and a two burner stove that was purchased by my father-in-law in the 80s that we still use today, and my adult children use as well. I'll stand behind the Coleman brand.
I enjoy your videos so much. Your photography is awesome! The music is good too. You are quite talented. At night I listen to rain on a tent and thunder in the background. I find myself wishing that it sounded like the rain and thunder in your videos. I wish you would compile a soundtrack from your camping experiences that a person could sleep to. That would be the best sleeping video yet. Please think about it...
I also said that I listen to rain on a tent to sleep I love it I just hope Luke will see this I know now I'm not the only one that would love him to do a sound track 🤞🤞
Hello Luke👍👍 The tarp was perfect for the camp, my favorite brand so far. I have several Aqua Quest tarps, never let me down. I've had Coleman gear of one kind or another for more years than I like to admit, they work good and yeah they're affordable to most folks. Burger ecstasy, no wonder you slept well😉 Great video, thanks for the work on and off the screen. See ya next time.
Gotta admire your hustle, Luke -- seems like you were filming at least four videos at once on this trip! I don't know how you keep your energy up for that 😂 Keep on keepin' on, friend.
I love my Aquaquest tarps, I have a couple that i have used and abused over the years that have been through insane winds and crazy storms and they have never let me down. Super high quality products.
I feel like the Big Foot adventure was a fun reminder of why we go out into the woods...to see what's out there. The next adventure should be to find that bloody bear and bill him for the lawnmower.
Agree the camping in the shed was one of the best where Luke rigged up the door and the cool looking old stove with pipes. Request shed camp part 2 episode. I’ve been following this channel for years it’s one of the best, Thanks
Luke, I see other people would love you to make a video of just rain on a tent. I love the sound. I sleep to it every night. 8 hours of it is just right. I really hope you sees our request. I love the sound of heavy rain on this tarp, too. 29:48 Very relaxing. Please let us know what you think?? Thank you so much. I love your channel. I love when you and your wife go on the awesome trips together. You go places I only dream of going. Thank you for taking me along. I really enjoy myself, a lot.🙏🙋🏻♀️.
I’ve always been a Chevy/GM guy when it comes to trucks but I can’t deny that the Tacoma’s and Tundra’s look absolutely stunning, not to mention they cost less than the new Sierra’s for about the same performance out of a half ton truck.
The rain events in NC are epic. Liked the video a lot, but I'm a Ford guy with a 2020 Ranger. It's been all over the West and Canada and it's great. As always strength and honor. 👍
I have a 25 year old Coleman propane lantern and also a propane camp stove that still work! When I was a kid, my dad had one of those gas lanterns that you had to pump it before for you lit it He also had a stove with the gas tank on the front you had to pump before lighting. I bet if those two things would still be working today, if they hadn't been sold at a yard sale.
The BROWNING CAMPING BIG HORN Tent -(5 person) might be an interesting tent for testing. Do not hear much about this tent but seems to have good ratings.
Thank you for updating on the shed we watch your videos and we seen the overnight cot camping in the shed we miss you and Susie doing adventure s thank you for the videos
You mentioned knots! I frequently use the taut-line knot for tying out guy line's for tents and tarps to trees when using the factory adjuster is difficult or not possible. Square knot is very handy in a lot of situations. Bowline knot is also very useful when you don't want it to slip or for tying on guyline to a tent. Clove hitch works great around trees when you just need a tie off point. Now if I'm creating stands or chairs or tables from sticks, the various types of lashings come in handy but I don't use them much anymore because when I'm car camping I usually bring aroll up or collapsable table and chairs.
I have been patiently awaiting this video. I hated to think you missed that storm. Reminds me, I need to make some stakes before my next outing. The temps that weekend were great. We never got the forecast rain amounts here. But alas, the heat is coming in and bringing with it the humidity. I need to head out y'alls way when it gets really hot. I looked at your pulled pork and then realized you were on the red BBQ side of the state. Hahahaha but it sure looked good! I have had Ford, Chevy and Dodge pickups throughout the years. Now as an old guy, I have settled on the 2022 Taco and love fit. I would like to suggest the Kodiak Canvas tents. Yes pricey and heavy but I really like my truck tent. Thanks for the trip, the meal, and your time. Stay safe and God bless.
❤thank you for your hard work in bringing us these videos.due to health issues i am unable to travel more.than 30 mins at a time.sleeping requires meds and elevation.these videos help me remember happier times.
Enjoying your Channel. Nothing more peaceful and relaxing to me than the rain, as a child my Grandma had a tin roof house . my sisters and cousins would go there when it rained lie down and go to sleep..best memories. Still love to sleep in the rain 😅
I was a Scoutmaster in Texas and I bought our gear out of my own pocket. Price and support was great with Coleman. Kids don't usually take the best of care with their gear and I had never even heard of YKK zippers. High winds at week long camps in West Texas played heck with five new tents I bought and none were treated to protect the zippers from sand and grit, nearly all came home with torn zippers because they had to force the zippers open. Coleman replaced all five tents. Other gear same story
What you said about tents goes for most other outdoor products, too. Pay a little for so-so quality or pay significantly more for "premium" items. I was tired of bags/rucks falling apart so I tried Tactical Tailor and the quality is substantially higher and they're made up in Tacoma, Wash. After many years I had a zipper come apart and they are replacing it under their lifetime warranty.
The only mistake I frequently see with your set up (and others) is having a pick up with a short bed. The standard six and a half foot pick up beds keep getting harder to find on new trucks. I live in Tn. and I had to get my pick up from Fl. All I know is we are short but I will never purchase a short bed truck. The first two things I got for the truck were the Leer Topper and the BedRug bed liner.
Luke. Looking forward to some larger rent reviews. We are looking into some larger tents for car camping and overlanding. Any chance you might review some Roof top tents? Or maybe a video on why or why not?
I may be late commenting on this video and maybe no one will see this comment, but I come here every morning and every day because of my depression. This soothing music helped me a lot. I just wanted to say thank you for letting me get through the tough times.
❤️🙌
I too find Luke's videos lift my spirit. Love hearing the rain and when he eats and enjoys his meals, I have to run to the kitchen for a snack! Take care friend and don't let the world get you down.

Storm camping to me is great. It's peacful & the sound of the rain is amazing!
same
Ok. So storm camping IS GREAT
as long as you’re in a tent and DRY!!!!!
And enhances intuition and emotional conductivity which is great for relationships.
I agree; I love storms and the sound of rain and thunder booming with flashes of lightning.
Luke: Bigfoot don’t like lawnmowers! 😂
I’m one of those people who emailed on the Bigfoot subject, and you kindly responded… so thankyou to you and Susie for your hard work on those thousands of emails 👍
Hi Luke. Going through a difficult time right now but your camping adventures help me to relax and take my mind off of things. Thank you sir.
I can see why this is so appealing - to get away from the stresses of modern life ... cook for yourself, away from people and polution.
The sound quality on this channel is the best. I almost fell asleep from the sound of the rain.
I had to escape the news!!! People, we need more love and kindness ❤️ and camping
My favorite videos, storm camping. The sound of thunder and rain is soothing and relaxing. 😴
It’s funny you mentioned the Coleman six person tent….about 20 years go I got one. I have to tell you that this tent has been through rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, hail, ice and snow (@18degrees) and it’s still going strong! 😂
Ditto. Bought a Coleman 5-6 person Sundome when the kids were young. More than 20 years later it's in good shape.
I bought one from a friends parents we used it all the time when we were kids it's still in fantastic shape
Thanks for all the rain camping you endure
@@xr6lad Idk why you morons think politics isn’t already involved in every major facet of humanity, but you do you, bud. 😂
Same Here. I just can't stand to hear all this "political education" anymore. Thank good there is Luke.
I listen to your rain and nature sounds as ASMR; it helps my anxiety; thank you
Luke, thank you for showing us the shed. I watch the episode of your overnight adventure there over and over again. If you get a chance, please give us another episode. That stove is so cool. Thank You!
The best part of camping with Luke is going camping in the Stormy weather 😊❤😊 Thanks LUKE😊❤😊
Beautiful and green. Rain, cool clean fresh air, amazing. Stay safe. ❤
Im 70 and female live seeing your videos .
Just turned 79 and I love these videos, too. I actually get my blanket out when you camp in the snow.
Thank you, Luke Another camping Adventure video lots of rain and it was a lot of fun hanging out with you
Luke, tarps make great shelters. Always my best wishes. Rain is amazing

I was wondering what happened with the shed, glad to see it still in use.
Love the rain camping videos. Reminds me of hammock camping under a large tarp, in the rain, reading a book and napping.
I love your storm camping videos; because I love stormy weathet. Don't stop doing them
You know, as an official old guy now, who doesn't respond as well any more to the ground. This would be my dream set up. And just YES to big tarps. Thank God i found your channel.. I've searching.. You are one of mya husband fav youtuber.. He always watched all your videos.. But sadly.. He passed away 2yrs ago.. But, i will continue watching your videos.. ❤
Thanks Luke for this video camping in the rain, you do a great job.love your raining video.

Wow awesome its nice to see you cook 👍🏼Amazing YES!!!!!!
I bought a Coleman tent and it was missing the stakes I notified Coleman and they sent me a brand new tent. Customer service is top notch.
Another great video as always. Love the sound of the rain. Great job.
Love the rain. It does help you get some good sleep. Enjoy listening to you talk. We can hear you. God Bless and be safe.❤❤❤ Tell Susie hi.

Another awesome video Luke thanks for taking us # happy Father’s Day
You r getting more buff every video I see, keep it up bro.
Luke is preparing for a showdown with "Lawnmower Bear!" 😅😅😅😅😅
Love your rain and storm videos I make time for them every night
Being highly allergic to bee sting I hope you have an EpiPen, Luke. Can’t wait to see how the tents do. 🙏🦅
I'm still using a handful of Coleman products that have lasted for literally three generations. I have a Coleman lantern and a two burner stove that was purchased by my father-in-law in the 80s that we still use today, and my adult children use as well. I'll stand behind the Coleman brand.

Such a refreshing video while camping in the storm.
These two onetigris tents are the ones I'm excited to see go through the rain test, I'm hoping they pass.
Toyota over anything else!!! Definitely!!! Thank you for your videos. I enjoy them so much and am learning to get ready to go camping my first time!!!
The episode where you camped in the shed in the ice storm is what got me started watching this channel
Agree the camping in the shed was one of the best where Luke rigged up the door and the cool looking old stove with pipes. Request shed camp part 2 episode. I’ve been following this channel for years it’s one of the best, Thanks
Luke nice video camping in the rain, great review thanks for sharing stay safe
Luke, I see other people would love you to make a video of just rain on a tent. I love the sound. I sleep to it every night. 8 hours of it is just right. I really hope you sees our request. I love the sound of heavy rain on this tarp, too. 29:48 Very relaxing. Please let us know what you think?? Thank you so much. I love your channel. Great video and even better news about coffee consumption, I new there was a reason why I enjoy it so much
do you carry a firearm, just in case ?
Watching this on my cozy porch couch while it storms like crazy
I have a 25 year old Coleman propane lantern and also a propane camp stove that still work! When I was a kid, my dad had one of those gas lanterns that you had to pump it before for you lit it He also had a stove with the gas tank on the front you had to pump before lighting. I bet if those two things would still be working today, if they hadn't been sold at a yard sale.
Tacoma all the way!!!!!
We have a 2015 Tundra. Love that truck!!! No issues and nearly 100,000 miles.
The BROWNING CAMPING BIG HORN Tent -(5 person) might be an interesting tent for testing. Do not hear much about this tent but seems to have good ratings.
Coffee. Thanks for the heads up.☕️ I'll be drinking more of it. Instead of just for breakfast.🎉🎉 Toyota
you never fail to make me want coffee.
Thank you for updating on the shed we watch your videos and we seen the overnight cot camping in the shed we miss you and Susie doing adventure s thank you for the videos
I love the rain and camping in it I know I would love it it looks so peaceful!!!and it’s beautiful out there
You mentioned knots!
Definitely the Toyota.
What if someone wanted to pass on the road you set up on. How does that work?
I enjoy watching the Rain it’s relaxing
❤thank you for your hard work in bringing us these videos.due to health issues i am unable to travel more.than 30 mins at a time.sleeping requires meds and elevation.these videos help me remember happier times.
Needed this recovering from surgery 🤮. Can't wait to get back on foggy mountain...
That rain sounds sooo good.
I really enjoy when you show cooking and the process of it including cleaning up
So cozy...love a good rain...so much, I made my lunch and watched your video and felt somewhat like I was actually there! Crazy?
Find a socket that fits the mowers crank nut, and you can start it with an impact driver.
Mower situation sounds like a slapstick routine 😂
Enjoying your Channel. Nothing more peaceful and relaxing to me than the rain, as a child my Grandma had a tin roof house . my sisters and cousins would go there when it rained lie down and go to sleep..best memories. Still love to sleep in the rain 😅
Man I love your videos, and Lone Wolf Mountain is just beautiful… to you and your family my prayers and blessing , thanks for all adventures…
Luke, you gave Coleman a nod. From my experience with their tents, the tents are a value for the buck.
Good ole Lone wolf Mountain !!! Thanks Luke great video
I bought the Aqua Quest after seeing your review on it a year or so ago and I must say it's been good to me. Thanks
Luke. Looking forward to some larger rent reviews. We are looking into some larger tents for car camping and overlanding. Any chance you might review some Roof top tents? Or maybe a video on why or why not?
