Stood and listened to Nico do his little presentation at Silverstone. All the environmental stuff he’s doing with Universities. Walked away half way through after he made us feel guilty for using a combustion car to get to silverstone. This from a man who spent 15 years touring the world , after he was on holiday in Ibiza, sent his family back to Monaco in a private jet and then he made his way to Silverstone from Ibiza to lecture me for 5 minutes on how bad I am.
And we must not forget that each F1 team moves the equivalent of a small city, often across the world, for each F1 race. These racers have each consumed entire mountain ranges of tires and oceans of gasoline in their careers and now Nico wants me to alter my life, me who drives his ICE car less than 4,000 miles per year! His huge yacht alone consumes the resources of a small town! The hypocrisy and tone deafness are stupefying!
