Mimighoul Maker now doesn't have a fail state. Either outcome now sets up Dungeon + Room, with specifically getting Dragon off of it also giving you Throne to make the board even stronger. While it's strength was debated before, it is a guaranteed 3 of in the deck now. The new wave is great. Edit: I missed a line since I rushed this video out. If you get Archfiend off Maker, use it to get your Dragon back to your side and make Throne. Throne summons Master who adds Dragon. Normal Summon Dragon and add Dungeon to add Fairy. Summon Fairy and use it plus Dragon to make Giant, adding Room as the final piece of the endboard.
Can't you also do the second combo if you get archfiend from maker? -Special summon archfiend, flip dragon, overlay to throne, summon master, -master gets dragon, normal summon dragon, add dungeon, -dungeon add fairy, special summon fairy, then overlay into giant to add room. The difference then is only that you dont handloop the opponent for 1 card while drawing 1 card, but a 1 card combo for 3 interrupts with a 50/50 to also handloop and draw, i like the new support
Thank you for putting this up so fast! I am so eager to play with these new cards, love the artworks and mechanic! I think I'll try some level 1 generic extenders too, as Jester Confit, maybe Lyriluscs (Turquoise Warbler), or a small Purrely engine (3x Pretty Memory, 2x Purrelyly, 1x My Friend, Epurrely Beauty in Extra). With Mimighoul Fairy, a 3x Vernusylphnof the Misting Seedlings or a little engine to increase the special summons could be an option too, if one wants to play with the GY, not following the Shifter way. Sorry for the long message, happy dueling! 😊
Mimighoul is one of my favorite decks to come out in the last year or so and I started testing these like 10 minutes after they were revealed lol. I do actually kinda like the sound of running some Purrely's since I feel like they can open up more options for the deck and Mimighoul's ability to block Imperm and set up Talents to handrip would help the Purrely stuff out a lot.
If you’re still playing shifter you may want to try Magicians souls. Shifter past turn 1 becomes dead, so getting rid of it while also having an extra body is always good (plus you can pitch maker if you’ve already used it for an extra draw)
Watch cat It also seems like a good option, at the end of the end phase you can activate a continuous magic that could be a charm if you want a pure version
@@rolocr1899 that tech is nice, since the Cat is level 1, Earth, and is a better extender than others... sadly it only sets the Continuous during the EP, but it's still a +1
Does it still seem like the Kash variant will be the best version? Also I wonder now they have a generic rank 1 if a mimighoul package could work in Spyral
@@lankeysob Kash has too much synergy with the deck for me to expect anything to truly replace them but I think the deck holds its own without the Kash stuff now if people want to try other things.
@@johnofalltrades8266honestly a mix of Kash and mimighoul is now even better because of the xyz so the Kash locks into xyz don't hurt the deck and the fact you can get field and trap off dragon or maker is incredible
@@hiddenfog180 You'd never pick Slime over Dragon or Archfiend because they are the only way to guarantee combo with Maker. If you already have Dragon or Archfiend though, Slime and Fairy both become decent reveal targets and you pick between them based on what your hand looks like. Right now Slime's use case is having Slime + Archfiend OR running a copy of Swords of Revealing Light to grab off Thrust. That way you can have extra explosive setups with certain hands. @@CSCH69 The existence of Impulse and Diabellestar makes the deck struggle more than it would've had it come out a bit sooner. Luckily, I do think this new stuff does at least do enough that the deck isn't just completely dead if the opponent uses them though

3rd Combo: Normal Dragon, search Fieldspell. Activate fieldspell, search Fairy. Special Summon Fairy. XYZ into Giant, search Room. Set Room. :)

I realized just running three of everything is really good for clogging all 5 mmz of opponents pretty consistently.
No draco future at the last part? Almost gave me ghostrick nostalgia
