- I traveled to Perú to visit yet another legendary football club of Latin America - Alianza Lima and it was a great game with the home team dominating but most importantly, it was an incredible atmosphere and I will never forget the fans that made this experience possible.

Yeah I was excited to see atmosphere there and was a bit dissapointed because when I saw there crazy atmosphere the fans made on a stadium with oval race track, I am pretty sure on their home stadium, closer to the field it would be even crazier and louder. I gotta come back for sure, the fans were incredible

You went to the east-stand (tribuna oriente), but at the National Stadium of Lima🇵🇪 you can enjoy more of the football atmosphere outside of the stadium in the west-stand (tribuna occidente) and south -stand ( tribuna sur), as there is not a highway outside as in tribuna oriente, and people hang around taking beers, sitting and enjoying food/beers as plenty of good food stands. I am hard fan of Alianza and although National Stadium is not our home but Matute, I grew up watching Alianza in the National stadium and I like more that stadium than Matute and as you said, the infrastructure is not what we deserve, Matute urgently needs a good maintenance improvement but with that to increase its capacity to at least 60,000. Hope Lima treat you well, good to see you enjoyed, I went to north-stand and also saw some foreigners around. Thanks and ARRIBA ALIANZA!

Alianza fans also known as “gonkas” has their home stadium “ Matute” sanctioned cuz they could not handle seen Universitario lift the Cup at last year’s final! They’re the worst kind of losers my friend! Good thing you went to the National Stadium, in Matute you would’ve felt like being in a toilet 😂😂😂
You have to visit the Monumental Stadium in Lima, is the biggest stadium in Peru and the second in South America. It’s another environment!

Great video! Just FYI…you are right, the capacity is more than 46k, actually 65k. A bit more of 46k on the stands and the rest in the suites. Like you said about 33%. Awesome you are visiting Peru. Oh wow thats a lot of suites haha I honestly couldn’t believe that the stadium is from 1951 (I think) because it looks very modern inside. I really enjoyed the game a lot, so far probably my best experience in Latam.

@@HonzieHollidayBefore renewal National Stadium was around 45 K but after renewal unfortunately the stand-capacity decreased and overall capacity is not more than 45K (including VIP boxes), that 65K figure is wrong. As you see most of the boxes are empty, something I have notice in this stadium for most of the matches and even music concerts. I hope authorities someday realise the mistake they did and increase overall capacity to minimum 60K as this is the main football stadium of Peru (definitely they will have to demolish some VIP boxes for tha)t

You think that$20 is expensive for a Football match?? I paid 250 Euros to watch a game in Europe. $20 is no much money for Peruvians either.
I was talking about Latam in general just comparing it to the prices in Europe, where regular league match would be 10-30€ which is the same price as league games in Latin America. Or you trying to tell me people in Latam have same salaries as people in Europe? Of course they don’t, so why should they pay same prices. Lima of course is a rich city but not every city on the continent is like that and for lot of people it is too much.
And yes, I also paid 200€ for a football game in Europe, for El clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Let’s not compare incomparable here.
And just to break it down for you
Cheapest ticket for Bayern Munich game is 22€, average german salary is 3000€
Cheapest Alianza ticket is 7€, average Peruavian salary is around 350€
So Peruvians are paying 3x less for tickets while having 9x lower salaries. That’s my whole point
