Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire is a very nice looking town near the beach i really enjoyed the tour seeing the local arcades and places to eat and drink at this is another awesome place and as always until next time thank you.🇬🇧🙋🇬🇧
What a lovely seaside town Neil, didn’t expect it to be that nice it’s a kid’s paradise! Such reasonable prices even the doughnuts are cheap! No rip off Britain there, how it should be!! I’m going to look on the map now and see how far it is. Update 230 miles 😮
The port town of Grimsby used the be the most busy fishing port in the world. My family were Grimbarians, born & bred. We moved to Cleethorpes, the ajoining seaside town in 1964 & left Cleethorpes for Adelaide, South Australia at the end of 1970. There was certainly a lot more to do along the Prom. back then. At the northern end was Wonderland with all its rides & slideshow stalls & a huge woodern big dipper. At the southern end the huge freshwater bathing pool. After that was the boating lake and the paddling pool & a small zoo. Further on was the Beachcomber, with its own swimming pool. Its lovely to see Cleethopes is still going strong ❤
I love watching your walks they soothing relaxing and most enjoyable I sit down on a night with my knitting watching your vlogs for 3 hrs I love em so thank you and keep up the good work 😀😀😀👍🏻
Hi Neil, been to Cleethorpes once we stayed in mablethorpe so we had a ride up about 50 mins , really nice place and worth a visit ,I live in Lancashire.
Thanks Neil for bring me down memory lane. Visiting Cleethorpes was a once or twice visit every year for the 10 years I lived there in England. We would hop on the train at meadowhall, and ride the 90 minute train to get to the seaside. We would take the lollypop train to the miniature trains to get to the Smallest pub on earth. We would walk back from the miniature train station back to the beach. If was a rainy day, we would go to the cinema there in town to see a movie. Fun times! Thanks again Neil! ;)
Try the south end around the boating lake, miniature railway and keisure centre close by where the wintergardens used to be that is a nice area to visit
Try walking to the end of market place turn left on to st peters avenue and on the right half way down is Ocean Fish Restaurant and takeaway, family run, reasonable prices and very good Fish and Chips, rivals Steels.
As a local, I can honestly say that the best fish and chip places are Steeles Corner House which was shown in this upload and Ocean Fish Bar which is down St Peter's Avenue. I'd highly recommend both. Great staff/service and good quality food and portions.
Cleethorpes is a pleasant place really, I have a drone video on my channel from a day trip last year. I don't think I'd holiday for a week there but it's a nice day trip. Living in South Yorkshire at the time, I remember going there to the Pier 39 nightclub in the late 80s.
Hello Neil how are you really enjoying this vidio of cleaforps very interested thank you looks a lovely sunny day. Best wishes take care stay safe xx ❤😅😅😊
I love watching ur beautiful country... coming from a populous country like India this seems like a different Realm...but I don't understand why the people in this beautiful part of the world are so obese ..I mean out of every 10 people 8 people are overweight...
Thanks for visiting my home town. Love it here, no matter what others say.
Well said

Cleethorpes is a hidden gem, l have been visiting it for years and it hardly ever changes and it has a very low rainfall which may surprise you.
You were lucky to see the tide in it goes out a long way
I was there last weekend for the annual Armed Forces weekend. There were estimated to be 250,000 people attending and it was packed on the Saturday
Thanks for video loved the walk round Cleethorpes I like the beach and road train hope you keeping alright I'm feeling better today.
I have spent many happy times visiting here😂❤

Cleethorpes looked busier on a Sunday than Mablethorpe on Monday lunchtime. Thought Skegness looked worth a visit.
We have family that live in cleethorpes so we visit quite regularly,

A good file.
Another place that’s voted one of the worst, but all I saw on the video was lots of people having a good time.
We had our honeymoon there 42 years ago
Ah lovely
Has it changed much since?
@@GimbalWalkTV only the pub we spent most of the time because it rained so much has been knocked down x
