    Taking a break from the Tirpitz? ;) This is amazing work - "I couldn't find 1/72 US Tanker figures that I liked... so I sculpted my own." Superb skill, and in the braille scale too. Must have taken a while to do, but amazing work throughout.

    Wow ! That turned out great! I especially liked the epoxy molding, tarps & barbed wire.. unreal ! My only constructive criticism is the "D-32" decal covering the pistol port on the left side and the open hatch interior tops not being an off white or seafoam green. Again this was great nonetheless! Hope to get to this skill level some day! Also hope to see more ground vehicles in-between ship builds from you

    the hand sculpted figure looks so much more realistic. One thing i really don't like is the featureless pastel washed finish on most figures, wool uniforms don't have a smooth plastic finish, so i would say that your sculpted figure looks miles better than kit made ones. Nice work

    After snooping around and lurking in the background, I’ve noticed that you will make a Montana after the Tirpitz. First thing in my mind is “YES, YES, YES, YES” then I’ve realized that you will exhausted yourself to it. So my advice is take some time to build something simply and easy to relaxed yourself, try not to over work. I really love your vid and build. Commented with regard from Vietnam

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  5 лет назад

      If you did that recently, like one or two weeks or so, try spraying the thinner you used for the gloss coat. If you did while ago, it may not work, but you should try first. If it doesn't work, well.. you probably remove whole paint and paint again.

    That was amazing mate I loved it... always love watching you sculpt. I have your ss grenadier figure still to paint, but if you sold some 1/72 tankers I would buy them too 😎. do you think you could produce in house?.

      @EbroinSong  5 лет назад

      Thank you for loving it =) I am thinking about selling some small figures, but I can't produce for now because I don't have the machine and I don't have room for the machine.
      I probably never sculpt Adolf, because no company wants his bust. People in some counties are very sensitive about his images.

    You've made several errors with your Sherman tank, I hope you're not offended by these corrections, but the device on the front of the tank was not a plow, it was called the Hedgehog, sometimes referred to as a rhinoceros. These were used to plow through the hedgerows in Europe after the invasion of Normandy. Also, a Sherman crew would never leave their 50 caliber machine gun lying on the rear of their tank tie down by rope as this was a very valuable anti-aircraft and anti-personnel weapon. Also, the additional tracks that were on Sherman's, you placed upside down, the teeth always faced out. Also, I don't know of a single instance where a Sherman tank was camouflage during World War II in the European theater.

    • @EbroinSong
      @EbroinSong  4 года назад +4

      1. Plow.
      It's most likely called "Culin's hedgerow cutter," not "Hedgehog." Hedgehog is more like another nick name.
      It was improvise devices that are made by soldier on the the field. So it has no formal name or numbering.
      I just call it plow because "Culin's hedgerow cutter" is too long and it looks like a plow to me, and I don't care its name.
      ww2today.com/9-july-1944-the-culin-hedge-cutter-on-the-normandy-battlefield
      2. 50 caliber.
      I really didn't think there is a guy who wants to point this out.
      OK, normally tankers don't remove the machine gun from its mount and place it on the deck.
      But what if the mount is broken? or the gun is jammed? or they found it from other tank's wreckage and its barrel is plugged with mud?
      You remind me the guy said "your figure(German) is wrong because he is holding Russian weapon."
      3. Camouflage in the European theater.

      The .50 BMG was attached to a flexible AA mount on the turret in a way that you had to be out of the tank to even use it, so it's no big stretch that it would laid aside while crashing through hedge rows ect... It wasn't all that useful in many situations. In the majority of WWII photos I have seen, it's not mounted.
