One of the things I really like about Lisa's videos is that she shows her trials and errors. When I watch her, I realize that it's rarely as simple as pros make it look and that it's ok if things don't work out perfectly at first. She always gets back on the horse and sees her projects through and does a great job making good food where others would've been frustrated. In the process both her and her audience learn a lot, and it feels good.
day 2 of telling Lisa to retry smoked ramen but in a way easier, at home way: After your food is done, leave it on the pan and make sure you have a lid. Then take a small bowl, fill it with some cooking oil, and place it inside the pan, then put a piece of burning coal (inside the bowl) and put the lid on.. let it smoke out for a few minutes and voila! you’re left with a delicious, strong smoky flavor! (Learned it from my mom seeing her use it to make chicken Shawarma😋)
I like that it's just a realistic experience. Not the tryhard way of retaking the video untill it goes perfect. Just a first try thing and accepting the imperfections each time, while learning from them
Loving this series! Though next time I think you need to use more eggs, cook on low heat, really oil up the pan and pour a thicker layer for structure!
Me and my sister love making tamagoyaki! We just got a pan for it! She made the sweet kind where its soy sauce and sugar and something else and its delicious! Now i am curious to try this lol
I have a small team, me and my mother are always working and we don't really have time to make a classic dinner. Except on weekends, and that is very difficult for us because of them. We try to make up for it on the weekends...then we look for different recipes to surprise ourselves. In any case, thank you very much. So I decided to learn to cook. Thanks for the ideas, looks great!
Tamagoyaki is such a nostalgic flavor for me ❤️❤️❤️ It is hard speaking as someone who’s done it after being out of practice and gone back to it, but you’ll get the hang of it in no time 😊 Thank you for the video. It’s been a rough day and you’ve encouraged me to eat again ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
We make a famous desert in this way in Bangladesh named as patishapta pitha (pitha is known as rice cakes even tho they r much tastier than thoose bland stuff) it is make of rice flour, molasses, milk and many other stuff.. You should make do a challenge series called pitha challenge.. It is really hard but fun too.. Bangladeshi foods are amazing..
it's really hard to make tamagoyaki with a small amount of oil, so what I recommend is actually applying a lot of oil to the pan first and then wiping out some of the excess with the paper towel. but it's okay to go crazy with the oil. I have seen videos of people making tamagoyaki for commercial establishments like big restaurants and they tend to have a whole ladle of oil that they swirl around the tamagoyaki pan before pouring most of it out. you are also using a non-stick pan so that makes it a little bit easier, but I've had the same issue with sticking when I didn't use enough oil with mine. they actually make wide silicone tamagoyaki pan-specific turner things that are sort of like wide spatulas. you can get them at daiso sometimes, but I believe you can also buy them on Amazon.
Hey Lisa the ramen series is going so well..loving it day by day. 💕 Would you like to try a chocolatey ramen ? A ramen without it's seasonings n sauces bt instead with melted chocolate n if preferred, cocoa n condensed milk. A delicacy for when you want ramen n also have a sweet tooth!
As a person who doesn't have a lot of patience, I love making Tamagoyaki because it doesn't require much time. I love eating scrambled eggs for the same reason! Also the more you make it, the better you get at it. Looks amazing!
Make Ramen fritters (noodles er pakora) Boil the by breaking them ramens add vegetables cut thinly like cabbage, potatoes and carrot and add one egg, pepper, a bit of salt, Turmeric, red chilli, ramen seasoning . Then combine with flour. Make small balls and fry them. It's a fusion snack made at home in Bangladesh and india. Love from Bangladesh Lisa ❤️
You can try ramen samosa(basically samosa with ramen as filling). I have not tried it but just thought of that idea. I'm sorry if I have offended any indians out there but I think there is nothing wrong with experimenting 🤷.
I made tamagoyaki so many times because I like it and love making it. At first, I definitely burn 1 or 2 but I get pretty good at it to the point I don't need a special pan anymore plus I can put anything I want without breaking it. No hate at all but definitely can be improve! Personally, I always shift my egg to make it silky smooth and avoid big air bubble. And yeah, don't mix it too hard because air bubbles. I would also go thicker for newbie because easier to roll something thick. Definitely abandoned chopstick for now, I can't even use them yet 🥲. I don't see it in this video but sometimes the egg will start swelling cuz air bubble, pop them. I hope I am clear enough, good job on your first one tho! I burned mine, the fact that it survive is good 😂
Tip for next time: use more egg and don't make the layers so thin and put the Ramen (or what you decide to use) on every other layers and not each layer or it'll start to tear
Hey Lisa! I've tried this recipe before and what I've learnt is that it helps to make the first layer a bit thicker than the others so it's easier to pick up and flip. I don't know if you'll see this but if you do I hope this helps :) +I love your videos ☺️
Never thought someone could make ramen so many different ways
Her and senpai kai sound like me in the morning when i got omicron in my sinuses. I wonder if i can become popular too

thats nice but she prolly already planned out her food. also retrying something is boring and people would like to see more variety
@@clauteletuby she's re done stuff before tho-
@@Daeneiracorn not in the ramen challenge series tho
I mean she has a lot of comments so she couldn't see it maybe-
@@aburningphoenix9140 that's true. But we're only 13 days in, and LOTS of ramen to go so it's perfect plausible
You know whenever I lose my appetite of eating I love watching her ramen videos it brings my appetite back . Thanks a lot Lisa .
SAME.
ikr and whenever i am having some delicious food i switch on her playlist and trust me the food starts tasting even more delectable
Tip for next time: use more eggs and lower heat! The best part about part about tamagoyaki is the soft (almost not fully cooked) part of the egg! 😄

we can all agree that Lisa puts so much effort into these videos so we can enjoy it
Honestly so glad you're so creative with these challenges instead of just eating different ramen by the package directions every day.
