Im not a big Arrma fan but the 4S Outcast is one tough truck, it took some hard hits in this bash session!!! Puff puff pass Earl!!! LOL 👍👍 great video💯
Well, the truck faired better than your packs in that durability test today!! 😂😂 those were some good impacts! You can't drive perfectly every day. Everyone has an off day now and then. 👍🤙💯
Hi Earl, I know you don't like them, but for bashing they are hard case batteries, and really you need the battery better fixed there in the car, check the tower to tower brace, it has a rubber bushing and those plastic ends and after the front landings you can destroy that thread that adjusts its fixation.. That's how I destroyed a shock tower because that brace had play and the chassis flexed too much Great Video!
Man you can't beat that 4s line. I bent the freaking chassis the 1st time at a skate park. Bad landing from 20' in the air on concrete. Picked up a bash bar from m2c. Hit hard a couple times since with no issues so far.
You were right about the shock shafts being bent took one apart tonight and it had a slight bend to it thanks for the help now I'll replace the shafts and hopefully save my drive shafts
Nice rip Earl, you got the skills man. I hope to get better at air control in time. I finally used a label maker to label all my transmitters. I have a battery log that I track the life of all my batteries on so I have my batteries labeled as well. I am doing some tests to track the batteries to see the differences in brands over the life of the batteries, just something to amuse myself with. I was going to start wrapping my batteries in some real thin foam from a yoga mat or something.
What… $100 per battery? 😮. Almost as much as a car battery. Sounds like an expensive hobby, but way fun I bet. It’s fun watching the jumps and flips, but the damage… I guess is part of the fun.
You can come anytime to run plus most cities have them there really hard to find an rc friendly one as it took me 5 years looking and getting kicked out of many public parks to find this one 👍

Hard case will get loose inside the case no matter how you tie it down it will puff inside the hard case

Yes, I use a dense foam front and rear if I can.

I found most all batteries use the same cells packs just the quality of the cold solder and wire makes a good pack with the insulation they use 👍
Cover the battery with white sponge works really good
24:08 Time to take a bite out of that banana
🤣🤣🤣

26:19 looks like you got a trunk load of them. Nice gens Ace 5300s 😳
Yes I don’t expect those hard case gen ace to last there already showing issues after three month of ownership
@@earlmoorhead5555 JUNK
seems like you get pretty good runtime without cooling issues. im starting to warm up to arrmas more and more everyday. great vid.
This 4s outcast really is a good basher with very little issues I’m truly surprised how well it does gives me more time to learn tricks and control 👍👌
@@earlmoorhead5555 my buddy has one but his seem so drink battery juice for breakfast.
@GamedogRC wow
20:18 whole new meaning to the phrase nose digger
Man they are the worse things to hear in person knowing you did that lmao 🤣
I would love to have a spot like that to drive. Sorry about that batteries that sucks.

25:19 wow! This guy just clipped off the leads off a perfectly good pack. You just needed to take your 5 lb Sledge and swedge it back into place
👀🙃
You need to grab some Kevlar battery straps. Those stock straps are horrible.
Great movie!!!
That was an expensive trip to the BMX track… damn!
Put a scrap across.
Like you said… your timing was definitely off today😳… you’re actually lucky you didn’t bend the chassis or pop the bulkheads…
I don't own a 4 s. I got the 8 s version . but isn't the chassis plastic on the 4 s .
I wouldn’t ride with those things in my car on the way home
Get Hardcase lipos earl haha wtf?
Foam your battery trays!!!!!!!
And get some real lipos smc or cnhl or oynx!!
Smc I showed can’t survive any impact any brand can’t survive these type of impact 💯
@@earlmoorhead5555 yes, hardcase will break too.
