They are lucky to be back on US soil. The fact that China "does not play games when it comes to crime" and they allowed them to leave is amazing. I wish WE did not play games when it comes to crime, maybe we'd be better as a nation.

Not expelling them from school sends a very bad message to kids, that the rule of law is less important than fame, that is a terrible message for the youth. Expulsion!

Frank Costanza on LiAngelo: *_"Why'd you put the bananas in there???"_* So here's what to think about the UCLA incident: Am I the only one here who finds Lonzo Ball an absolute dead ringer for Steve Martin in a mink Russian trooper hat? (Seriously, isolate the face, breh. It's just there. Remember, Martin was born a poor black child. Just sayin'.) _(Marc Toronto): Stratubery hes more zoolander_ 🤣Actually, I'd been teetering between Steve Martin in the trooper hat and Glenn Frey under dome collapse and pyroclastic flow or frost heave in a peat bog. But you nailed it, man. Zoolander. It's not Showtime, Laker Nation - it's the *_Lonzoolander Ball!_* 😅🤙 Remember, Frank is actually Zoolander's father, and as Estelle says, "George _likes_ the bananas!" Jello likes the sunglasses! Ya'll are gettin' Balled like George by these Zololo boys. And you're lovin' it😵 Right, Whiteball?

You looking at a comment from the only Kentucky fan that is a fan of the Ball family. Despite all that, I really don’t see a reason why all three players shouldn’t be suspended a year or even kicked off the team for that matter (which I believe they shouldn’t be kicked off the team), because there is definitely merit to kick them off the team. If college athletes giving out autographs and taking money to pay their moms electric bill is worth a death penalty to a university, then this needs to be taken just as seriously. A one year suspension is more than fair for these guys and they lucky they are able to go back to the country unlike other people that do something ridiculous in China.

I'm not an expert on law, or crime, but I was under the impression that if you shoplifted, especially if you steal extremely expensive items, that you could face jail time... Why are these kids exempt from any punishment? These kids should not be allowed to play basketball. Someone less famous or not an athlete could possibly have their future ruined. Not receiving punishment disrespects their school, their country, and most importantly the people who have shoplifted in the past and received harsh punishment.

How could the president assert pressure in such a trivial matter? Do you think the Chinese leader would've done it for free? When you ask a favor, the chances are you'd likely to be asked back at some point. Myself being familiar to the Chinese government, I can guarantee that General Secretary Xi, a leader of the COMMUNIST party, will ask Trump for something back..or use it to a leverage. Not right now, but later. No matter how big or small that may be, it will be at the expense of all of you American citizens. The only person who won this game is the perpetrator - the UCLA players.

There are reports that the young men were arrested on suspicion of stealing. Now if they stole, they should be punished but not kicked out. But if it's suspicion??? Then they have to prove it. That's totally different

All 3 of them admitted that they stole from the stores and they were caught on camera. You're right, they shouldn't be kicked out, they should be in a Chinese prison for 3-10 years just like anyone else who has committed that crime. The only reason they aren't in prison right now is because of Trump saving them. Now that they are back here they are only getting a slap on the wrist?

No question there needs to be some sort of punishment from either UCLA or NCAA. some of you probably heard about the NCAA saying an NC State freshman player that transfered from ohio state and his coach he agreed to play for left, the NCAA said he cant play just because he started taking summer classes to get advance on his college education. Its rediculous (even ohio state said that he should be aloud to play) fortunately he was able to play yesterday because of him taking the matter to court but if the NCAA doesnt step in or these players dont get some major punishment for being a bunch of idiots then its very hypocritical of the NCAA.

o LT DA GAWD o Its definitely true but the inaccuracy occurs because every reporter on the planet wants to get a piece of this story. Getting a direct witness to what happened is pretty much impossible across the world so they all just copy each other... which leaves a lot of room for error

They should be suspended at the very minimum for the rest of the year. Give them some time to think of the stupidity of their actions.

It’s not that serious to expel them or kick them off the team but a 10-15 game suspension is fair

This is such a joke. A few game suspension is punishment?!?! In what world? What kind of consequence is a 5 game suspension? These kids need to be expelled. At minimum their scholarships should be revoked. Anything less is rewarding them. How many honest hard working kids could benefit from their scholarships? I bet theirs a few who would like their spots at UCLA.
