Default cannon is better, better damage, better projectile speed, infinite ammo.
I have 2 APCs, one with default cannon and one with SAM. And there is a reason to use the SAM because it have the most damage per sec in the game.
So it can withstand 5 RPG shots while APC can only 3, but it takes 5 homming missiles as well while the APC can withstand 6!?!?!?

Those rpg tests are inaccurate because vehicles can withstand more rpg hits when there's a person inside so Zhaba takes actually 9 rockets and APC 8

Zhaba AKA Sherp, was shown in the channel "Top Gear" and can tow fight the car-repair-pickup-trucks!
Top Gear sped up the footage and added in unnecessary engine sounds so it'd look better and stronger, while in real life it can barely go 25 mph.

Based Off of the SHERP.
All Terrain Vehicle, Designed mostly for Personal Snow and Water Usage.
That's why the Wheels are Oversized, and Paddle Shaped.
It's Supposed to be Small, and very Lightweight. But in this Game, they Made it Huge for whatever Reason. And the Fact that it can Absorb more Damage then the APC, an actual Tank Designed for Combat, Defies Logic. But again, this is GTA, and it's obviously to Balance Things out. But still...
It's Made for just one or two People to Go Exploring around the Map in. That's it. Just a Simple Joyride Over Rugged Terrain. Nice an Easy. Not Built for Speed.
Fun Little Contraption. Not Military Based. But the Damage it can Take is a Huge Plus. And the Price isn't so Bad.
It's a Turtle that can Eat some Rockets and Bullets, Putting all it's Point's on Mobility and Defense. Fun for 2 to Go on Off-Road Adventures Over Mountain Top's, Through the Wilderness, On Mud, On Water, and Especially on any Kind of Snowy Terrain.

The APC isn't a tank for one, APC's are designed to (as the name Armoured Personnel Carrier implies) carry infantry under small arms protection at best, drop them in the AO, and standby/retreat, Main Battle Tanks conversely aren't supposed to Carry infantry but instead being mobile firepower and anti armour support. (Kill thinks like the APC.) Then again. The GTA APC is based off of the BRDM-1. Which isn't even an APC, it's a scout car. Which is simply a 3 or so man (iirc BRDM takes 4) mobile vehicle for forward reconnaissance. It's designed specifically to, well, scout shit, and only to engage when disengagement is impossible. Though some variants of the BRDM had ATGM racks, and IIRC went into AT roles.
Also, the SHERPs design roots actually *were* in the Russian military because of the terrain they have. Iirc the project got stalled and they went into civilian market. Also the IRL ones can house roughly 4-8 or so people, I forget how much but more than 2.

The Zhaba is a very weird looking car. Also its the only vehicle which can be counted in the car category and has tank steering
I just hope the Zhaba can be used as a Personal Vehicle during the original Heists and the Doomsday Heist. This vehicle, every time I used it as a getaway car, has not failed me. It seems to be super bulletproof too, and the fact that it can go in the water makes it even better and may make it a viable transportation vehicle to get to the yacht in that one setup for Series A Funding. Or its bulletproofing and explosive resistance could make it good for the Rescue ULP setup for the Doomsday Heist.
I have no idea if it’s purpose. Other vehicles beat it in various categories. I’ll list some :
Explosion protectionbut no guns: Nightshark, insurgent
Bullet protection + explosion protection: Terrorbyte, Moc cab, (paragon ?)
Amphibious: Stromberg, Apc
Passenger space: literally anything except jets and oppressors
Save your money guys
Anything that takes less rockets to blow up than the oppressor can carry is a waste of time
So basically everything but the moc and maybe the terrabyte

Everyone hating on the zhaba because it's "useless." Its based off of a russian amphibious vehicle that is used for transport, not combat, so in all reality this is the most useful in terms of how its meant to be used

The Zhaba is a 4 seater I tested it out in one of the casino heists. Hold your enter the vehicle button at the back of it and you will get in the back

And it would probably be considered cool in Gta V too if there weren't so many weaponized, and heavily armored vehicles compared to it.

Its nothing like an APC though. The SHERP typically doesnt have weapons like that and isnt used in direct combat, although it is used in the Russian military.

You know the purpose of the real car is to go trough snow, mud and swamps and difficult terrain. Speed doesnt matter. The APC is designed to bring Soldiers quick and safe to a fight. You cant compare these 2

It’s more of a off-road car to mess around and not worry about it dying in water or by explosives or gunfire it’s just a all around better insurgent.

If you want a better insurgent, then get the insurgent pickup custom, because that thing is faster, stronger, and has greater protection against small arms! Pro: 4 accessory vehicle, good shield windows, can survive 13 - 14 rpg or homing launchers, swim on water. Cons: slow.
