I really appreciate the fact that you realize that these high end products are very expensive! I have a hard time spending so much money for cheek products because I can find ones at the drugstore that I LOVE. However, when it comes to foundations and powders, I will splurge now and then~❤
The Maybelline Superstar Vinyl Ink Liquid lipsticks sound like the Urban Decay ones you talked about. The Maybelline ones are really great though; and a lot less expensive of course. I also love the Rare Beauty mascara. I didn't really find it difficult to remove. Thanks for sharing all your thoughts!
i saw kathleen lights use one of the pink-toned haus labs highlighters as a blush topper and it looked STUNNING. the shade fire opal or rose quartz would look beautiful on you! just recommending because i know you love glowy blushes
I do love a good glowy blush! I don't know why this formula ends up looking dry on my skin! I wish it worked out well because they really do have some gorgeous shades that would make amazing blush toppers!

The better than chocolate palette is not like a surprise palette. The old chocolate bar palette original, peach palette or bon bons palette were outstanding than the better than chocolate palette. I’ve haven’t barely touched much shades but only like 5/6 shades. To me Idk if it’s a turn off palette. Have a wonderful day (Andrea) 💜

Andrea!! You NEED to try the fenty liquid liner in the brown shade! It’s a true brown and you can play with the intensity so you can do a lighter layer for a lighter brown or build it up, but it still LOOKS brown. It’s felt tip but it’s very sharp and doesn’t bleed. If you get a chance try it in person it’s so good a holy grail for me!

I have been using the Rare Beauty mascara and I have not had trouble taking it off. I use a bi-facil remover and then swipe some micellar water over it and it seems to get it all off. Thanks for the vid, I really like speed reviews.
I purchased an Em Cosmetics blush and eye palette in Magic Hour. It would be a great palette for traveling. You can get pinky looks, peachy looks or bronzy looks. Packaging is great, too.
My daughter just started working at Sephora. Oh Lawd, help me behave! If you haven tried those Maybelline Vinyl Lip inks or stains, you might like those better than the UD version.
The Rare Beauty mascara is my most favorite mascara but I agree completely! It’s hard to remove so I try to reserve using it for days where I need my mascara to last for much longer 😅
Rare Beauty mascara is definitely my fav! It is a tubing mascara and you just take it off with water (smooth the tubes away from your lashes using your fingertips.)☺️
NOW brand coconut oil works great too. I apply it with a cotton swab and dab it off with a tissue. Less tugging on your eyelashes. If you’re not allergic to it.
@@vals3660 take the most of it off with water then close your eye (I do one at a time) and just wipe the swab across your lashes. That way you don’t get it in your eye. Hope it works for you!
I loved the Rare beauty mascara as well, I got the mini size in Selena's favourite kit and loved it the way it was also easy to remove. I found it the easiest out of all my mascaras, so I'm very surprised you said that. I used Korean makeup cleansing oils and balms and it came off really easily. I used the ELF cleansing balm and that was pretty rubbish, it only works on light makeup
@@AndreaMatillano I love the Beauty of Joseon one the best as it's effective and also affordable. For max cleansing power the clinique one is brilliant, and also Farmacy but those are a bit more pricy.
I just picked up the Lunar Beauty Nude Prism palette, gorgeous. Absolutely love it and got it for $16 (I think) through boxycharm. I suckered myself into buying the 😑 Too Faced Cinnamon Bun palette at the Cosmetic Company Store...haven't tried it yet.

The brown liquid liner struggle! Another one to add to the mix: I don't love the formula of the Loreal Infallible grip precision felt liquid eyeliners . . . but I love the color brown (it actually looks brown). One day we'll get the perfect liquid brown!
I think maybelline did those glossy liquid lips first…they have an amazing product that doesn’t transfer much at all. I think urban decay’s came after. I’d try the Maybelline ones cause they’re awesome!
Tip for removing mascara. I use disposable wands that I dip in coconut oil(any makeup remover) and brush on my lashes and let it sit for a couple of minutes and remove.
I absolutely hated that Too Faced palette. I retuned mine the day after I wore it for the first time. The shadows ended up faded and patchy (worse on one eye than the other...weird), but I was embarrassed to realize I had walked around like that for no telling how long. I own almost all the tin palettes and wear them regularly, so I had been so excited for this to release. I want the new pumpkin spice 2, but I’m afraid that the quality of those shadows will be like this palette. I’m definitely going to watch a ton of reviews before purchasing. I have to respectfully disagree about the new formula being better than past tin palettes. In the last two weeks, I have used my Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Swirl, Semi-sweet, Sweet Peach, and Gingerbread Extra Spicy palettes and my shadows looked at the end of the day as good as they did upon application. I think Jarrod took his secret formula with him when he left the company. LOL The increase in price definitely does NOT correspond with the quality, and I don’t care if they did increase the amount of production get-bottom line, save your $54.
I have watched several negative reviews on the palette. I was looking forward to the palette because of the Chocolate scent. I heard it doesn’t even have much of a scent.
@@xdatgirlnayx I wonder if it varies between palettes. Morgan Turner said that her palette smelled like Chocolate. Several viewers in the comment section complained that their palettes didn’t have much of a scent. They all agreed that the palette was not high quality, though.
I can’t remember about the smell. I think I had to get my nose really close to smell anything. All I know is that the shadow formula absolutely was not even close to the quality I have grown to love. My four year old chocolate bar palette is still 1,000,000 times better than this “new formula”. Even the Morphe palettes I used to own were 100,000 times better. So glad Ulta accepts returns.
@@becm963 yeah they’re right. the quality is okay. The mattes are better then the shimmers tho. If you like collecting TF palettes I would say get it. But if quality matters to you. I would pass on this one.

I purchased the Colourpop liner vault because all of the eyeliners I put on the waterline inevitably come of before I do my mascara. They seem to work well on the waterline. They didn't work to tight line at all. But I still use my Urban Decay waterline liner for that.
I feel like they have improved the formula because they seem to last better on my waterline than they used to in the past! I think the metallic ones really stay in place well!
One of my favorite mascaras right now is the Rare Beauty one. Sometimes when I'm in hurry I will get it on my eyelids and I have to get to it right away because if it dries I will have problems removing it, however I don't have a problem when I cleanse my face. I use The Body Shop chamomile cleansing balm with a makeup eraser and then go with my face cleanser and it will remove it no problem. I did try the elf cleansing balm because of the great reviews, but it did not work for me. It doesn't completely take off my makeup and it stings my eyes, I also get the same results with the Farmacy cleansing balm. If they removed my makeup completely I think I would still buy them, but they dont work for me.
An easy way to get mascara off your eyes is to let it completely dry. Then take a spoolie and gently scratch it off. It won’t smudge eyeshadow, won’t even mess up a shimmer shadow.
I like your "lengthy" reviews. I really don't trust those one sentence-reviews. I mean who is supposed to make a decision based on that? We're talking about money-spending here, let's take that serious! :D
The ND midi Dream pallet released today I was so freaken excited for it the pics the colors the looks made with it then I looked at the pallet on the site and was like what is this randomness idk it is not what I thought at all and I was so excited for it 😭I'm so sad I was ready to order then kept looking at it and was like na idk about this I'm gonna wait for reviews real swatches I thought it was a cooler version of the glam and the retro and I really don't know what this is. So I am disappointed but it may change with some reviews on it with trusted people I really know will tell the truth. Idk maybe I'll stick with the glam and retro and forget the dream. I did just ordered the mini biba and the mini lawless baby one for 15 an thinking of the lawless mini glam I like that one better then the baby but it's not on sale and I can wait thought about the mini artist couture nudes but I want the bigger one but it's out of stock. Also been trying tok get the Dior backstage cool neutral eyeshadow pallet for over a year I get the restock email check out it's go e every time , I never tried the Dior shadows but love the color story on that one so I'm trying to get it. I also got the TF killer liner in green . Their is a few more things I want really want to try the gurlain glow foundation for like years but haven't pulled the trigger even know it's on sale and the synchro skin whole line of products in sale want the luminess one but I got this neutragea sensitive skin serum and it's amazing better then 99% of high-end I got tons of people trying it saying their in love to can't believe love it more then high end at 14 I just wish it was cruelty free it gets 9 for that instead of a 10 in this day in age everything shout be cruelty free vegan
I don’t know, I’m pretty much over Too Faced now, and have moved on to Pat McGrath, NARS, HUDA Beauty, and Natasha Denona. I used to love Too Faced, but after trying their butterfly palette (can’t even remember at the moment what it’s called, and frankly I don’t care), I’m pretty much mad at Too Faced. I’m no longer interested in their products.
I am still waiting mini boba but I'm am holding out for the new ND pallet my dream palette like wondering when it go a. He her it's right up my alley. I want pallets I'm gonna get my use out of and ware instead of thinking I need evry pallet that comes out and then never end up waring then it's a waste of 25 to 70$ . The ND dean looks more cool with somelightr shimmers that's my only problem they all seem to be dark I like the glam and the retro but the dream is more cool and it looks like one I really waant. I want the other to but I'm not a warm toned girl got the mini bronze used it 1 time I feel like I'm wasted money to cause the glam cam out a few weeks later and I much rather got that and retro but then even rero is a slight warmed plum color pallet an did want cooler shades more like shimmers.
Like you said, prices are getting higher and higher. I can’t believe Too Faced is charging $33 for a lip gloss, that definitely seems like luxury pricing to me. That one will be a skip for me, even though the color is really pretty.
@@AndreaMatillano that is why I say exchange it maybe it was baked or pressed wrong or got too hot in shipping. Just tell them your experience with what you got versus what they say. Bad lots of makeup happen all the time. 40 some dollars and it is the opposite of what they say it does
Too Faced is a disaster. We’re four months shy of 2023 and they’re still working on an eyeshadow formula? Keep pumping out good mascaras, and halt production in all other areas. Nobody will even notice.
I couldn't agree more about product reviews on tiktok. They are completely useless to me. There is no way you can give a concise explanation of a product in such a short amount of time. I generally skip right over those videos. They seem like little commercials to me.
Don't waste your money on the Urban Decay Vice, the Maybelline Vinyl liquid lipstick is much cheaper and lasts longer. Smells better than the UD formula and is just as comfortable feeling 💜
Aw I wish Maybeline was cruelty-free! They really were one of my favorite brands at the drugstore. I appreciate you sharing this alternative though for other people who might be looking! It's nice to have drugstore alternatives that work just as well.

I got the mini Biba when it was released and I've used it so much, it's now my favourite mini and that shimmer omg it's gorgeous, i picked up mini Nude in June and i love that too, I've also just got mini Bronze and that is really nice, if i ranked them it would 1st Biba then Nude and then Bronze

Love UD but as of lately their shadows aren’t pigmented enough and applied pretty patchy. Thx so much for your informative thorough review. Love your blouse! I’m ready for Fall
The brown liquid liner struggle! Another one to add to the mix: I don't love the formula of the Loreal Infallible grip precision felt liquid eyeliners . . . but I love the color brown (it actually looks brown). One day we'll get the perfect liquid brown!
Have you tried the Color Pop one? I’ve been using it for a few months now and am on my second one and love it!
I think maybelline did those glossy liquid lips first…they have an amazing product that doesn’t transfer much at all. I think urban decay’s came after. I’d try the Maybelline ones cause they’re awesome!
Tip for removing mascara. I use disposable wands that I dip in coconut oil(any makeup remover) and brush on my lashes and let it sit for a couple of minutes and remove.
That’s such a good tip! I’m going to have to try that with the Rare Beauty mascara!

I absolutely hated that Too Faced palette. I retuned mine the day after I wore it for the first time. The shadows ended up faded and patchy (worse on one eye than the other...weird), but I was embarrassed to realize I had walked around like that for no telling how long. I own almost all the tin palettes and wear them regularly, so I had been so excited for this to release. I want the new pumpkin spice 2, but I’m afraid that the quality of those shadows will be like this palette. I’m definitely going to watch a ton of reviews before purchasing.
I have to respectfully disagree about the new formula being better than past tin palettes. In the last two weeks, I have used my Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Swirl, Semi-sweet, Sweet Peach, and Gingerbread Extra Spicy palettes and my shadows looked at the end of the day as good as they did upon application. I think Jarrod took his secret formula with him when he left the company. LOL The increase in price definitely does NOT correspond with the quality, and I don’t care if they did increase the amount of production get-bottom line, save your $54.
I have watched several negative reviews on the palette. I was looking forward to the palette because of the Chocolate scent. I heard it doesn’t even have much of a scent.

@@xdatgirlnayx I wonder if it varies between palettes. Morgan Turner said that her palette smelled like Chocolate. Several viewers in the comment section complained that their palettes didn’t have much of a scent. They all agreed that the palette was not high quality, though.
I can’t remember about the smell. I think I had to get my nose really close to smell anything. All I know is that the shadow formula absolutely was not even close to the quality I have grown to love. My four year old chocolate bar palette is still 1,000,000 times better than this “new formula”. Even the Morphe palettes I used to own were 100,000 times better. So glad Ulta accepts returns.
@@becm963 yeah they’re right. the quality is okay. The mattes are better then the shimmers tho. If you like collecting TF palettes I would say get it. But if quality matters to you. I would pass on this one.

Thank you for your honest opinions and recommendations. I was considering buying the Haus Beauty highlighter. I saw someone talking about it on TikTok. Since I trust most TikTok accounts like a grain of salt , I decided to wait for someone I can trust 100%. I’m glad it was you so I don’t have to see what anyone else thinks. Morphe makes a bronzer that is shiny I put it by itself or on top
I purchased the Colourpop liner vault because all of the eyeliners I put on the waterline inevitably come of before I do my mascara. They seem to work well on the waterline. They didn't work to tight line at all. But I still use my Urban Decay waterline liner for that.
I feel like they have improved the formula because they seem to last better on my waterline than they used to in the past! I think the metallic ones really stay in place well!

One of my favorite mascaras right now is the Rare Beauty one. Sometimes when I'm in hurry I will get it on my eyelids and I have to get to it right away because if it dries I will have problems removing it, however I don't have a problem when I cleanse my face. I use The Body Shop chamomile cleansing balm with a makeup eraser and then go with my face cleanser and it will remove it no problem. I did try the elf cleansing balm because of the great reviews, but it did not work for me. It doesn't completely take off my makeup and it stings my eyes, I also get the same results with the Farmacy cleansing balm. If they removed my makeup completely I think I would still buy them, but they dont work for me.
An easy way to get mascara off your eyes is to let it completely dry. Then take a spoolie and gently scratch it off. It won’t smudge eyeshadow, won’t even mess up a shimmer shadow.
I like your "lengthy" reviews. I really don't trust those one sentence-reviews. I mean who is supposed to make a decision based on that? We're talking about money-spending here, let's take that serious! :D

The ND midi Dream pallet released today I was so freaken excited for it the pics the colors the looks made with it then I looked at the pallet on the site and was like what is this randomness idk it is not what I thought at all and I was so excited for it 😭I'm so sad I was ready to order then kept looking at it and was like na idk about this I'm gonna wait for reviews real swatches I thought it was a cooler version of the glam and the retro and I really don't know what this is. So I am disappointed but it may change with some reviews on it with trusted people I really know will tell the truth. Idk maybe I'll stick with the glam and retro and forget the dream. I did just ordered the mini biba and the mini lawless baby one for 15 an thinking of the lawless mini glam I like that one better then the baby but it's not on sale and I can wait thought about the mini artist couture nudes but I want the bigger one but it's out of stock. Also been trying tok get the Dior backstage cool neutral eyeshadow pallet for over a year I get the restock email check out it's go e every time , I never tried the Dior shadows but love the color story on that one so I'm trying to get it. I also got the TF killer liner in green . Their is a few more things I want really want to try the gurlain glow foundation for like years but haven't pulled the trigger even know it's on sale and the synchro skin whole line of products in sale want the luminess one but I got this neutragea sensitive skin serum and it's amazing better then 99% of high-end I got tons of people trying it saying their in love to can't believe love it more then high end at 14 I just wish it was cruelty free it gets 9 for that instead of a 10 in this day in age everything shout be cruelty free vegan

I don’t know, I’m pretty much over Too Faced now, and have moved on to Pat McGrath, NARS, HUDA Beauty, and Natasha Denona. I used to love Too Faced, but after trying their butterfly palette (can’t even remember at the moment what it’s called, and frankly I don’t care), I’m pretty much mad at Too Faced. I’m no longer interested in their products.
I am still waiting mini boba but I'm am holding out for the new ND pallet my dream palette like wondering when it go a. He her it's right up my alley. I want pallets I'm gonna get my use out of and ware instead of thinking I need evry pallet that comes out and then never end up waring then it's a waste of 25 to 70$ . The ND dean looks more cool with somelightr shimmers that's my only problem they all seem to be dark I like the glam and the retro but the dream is more cool and it looks like one I really waant. I want the other to but I'm not a warm toned girl got the mini bronze used it 1 time I feel like I'm wasted money to cause the glam cam out a few weeks later and I much rather got that and retro but then even rero is a slight warmed plum color pallet an did want cooler shades more like shimmers.
Like you said, prices are getting higher and higher. I can’t believe Too Faced is charging $33 for a lip gloss, that definitely seems like luxury pricing to me. That one will be a skip for me, even though the color is really pretty.
It really is ridiculous what brands have been charging- especially since drugstore quality is just as good, if not better these days!
I’m currently on a no buy and thought I would get serious FOMO once I’d seen positive reviews of some of these products but I’m ok still saying no.
So far everyone I've seen review the Too Faced palette has given it a negative review.
I would get that House Lab Bronzer swapped out since yours is dry. Maybe it is a off batch

@@AndreaMatillano that is why I say exchange it maybe it was baked or pressed wrong or got too hot in shipping. Just tell them your experience with what you got versus what they say. Bad lots of makeup happen all the time. 40 some dollars and it is the opposite of what they say it does

Too Faced is a disaster. We’re four months shy of 2023 and they’re still working on an eyeshadow formula? Keep pumping out good mascaras, and halt production in all other areas. Nobody will even notice.
I couldn't agree more about product reviews on tiktok. They are completely useless to me. There is no way you can give a concise explanation of a product in such a short amount of time. I generally skip right over those videos. They seem like little commercials to me.

Don't waste your money on the Urban Decay Vice, the Maybelline Vinyl liquid lipstick is much cheaper and lasts longer. Smells better than the UD formula and is just as comfortable feeling 💜
Aw I wish Maybeline was cruelty-free! They really were one of my favorite brands at the drugstore. I appreciate you sharing this alternative though for other people who might be looking! It's nice to have drugstore alternatives that work just as well.
