I don't understand why anyone enjoys this sort of sketch. There is neither appreciation nor contempt for the material supposedly being made fun of. The only criticism of disney's endless absorption of other entertainment entities is in the title, and that is merely implied. One character gives a prompt, the other character gives a predictable, rude reply and hardly anything else else happens. It's totally complacent. It's like a filmed version of a typical low effort newspaper comic strip except several minutes long and not from an author who has been coasting on the same concept for 2 to 5 decades. The pen handling part I appreciated since it was the only bit that was all visual.
The obnoxious pitch at the front of the video including one or more bleeped swear words didn't contribute entertainment value either. The swears in the main part aren't bleeped so I don't know why any of them would need to be, but if they do, using a different phrasing that doesn't have any bleep-worthy words would almost always be funnier. To me. Who admittedly doesn't watch other cracked videos and so wouldn't be in the target audience for larger scale projects by the same people.
Was there some sort of falling out? I saw Soren Bowie's name in the credits of an episode of "American Dad" last night. "After Hours" was one of the best things ever, and I hate the team might've disbanded.
Oh man, were you stranded on an island or something? Cracked laid off most of their video staff years ago. Their video business model was apparently based around some falsified metrics. Production was way to expensive for revenue. It wasn't profitable at all. Most of the original crew went on to start their own projects. Michael has the Small Beans channel. Cody and Katy have Some More News. Daniel O'Brian writes jokes for John Oliver. I don't know what Soren is doing.

I live under a rock and am always late to the party. I had no idea, but can totally understand the stupidity of corporate entities relying on "metrics" or "projections" instead of "practicalities". A shame.
"Falling out" is a pretty tame way of saying the entire video department got fired like five years ago lol.

I'm loving these sketches! I love Cracked no matter what, it's a "the more the merrier" situation. I still wish you guys would come back permanently and be the whole team again, though. Just my selfish thoughts. Hope that funding is coming on well.

good to see cracked going back to the good old stuff but what is up with the overall quality... it was kind meh....

The is the equivalent to Marvel and DC movies bringing back classic characters because all their new stuff sucks. I haven't watched a new episode of Cracked in years, and then all of a sudden Michael and Katie appear in videos. 😆

Have you guys tried looking for grants/funding from pride communities for the Papa Bear film, btw? The gay furry protagonist alone qualifies it as lgbtqia+ art and would qualify for arts grants ... i. Cant help but belive if one were to grass roots it on the forums, etc that they're would be no shortage of support because of the phrase, "gay male furry protagonist " alone
