The advocacy of the general public for the sustainability of CTA was held in Dharamsala coinciding with the beginning of the 8th session of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. General public appeal representatives comprised around 486 people -young and elders from many parts of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Europe and North America. In conversation with two leading member of People’s Movement for securing the Central Tibetan Administration.

Dekyi La is a good journalist-- it's great when important relevant questions are asked. One question I have is what is Shirim Mimang's legal name since they switch between different names and their letter head does not say Shirim Mimang and does not have contact information. Their focus seems to be delivering demands rather than taking part in the process of enacting laws. The Umalyam advocates term the Tibetan constitution as Charter perhaps in deference to CCP and China's constitution
but as Sikyong frequently reminds Tibetans in exile live under the laws of the host countries so the demanding for Supreme Justice seems of theoretical relevance than of practical importance. Hopefully, Dekyi La will do a piece on how the Supreme Justice makes a difference in the lives of Tibetans living in 25 host countries.
