Man can you even imagine how awesome that sounded to them onstage? I'm blown away especially given Ray's way too early tragic fate. These lyrics just give me the chills when I think of him and this song. Beautifully eerie
Yep, SteeleHard is correct! Robert Plant was clearly the major influence, even down to the clothes and gestures. And this song was clearly influenced by "Ten Years Gone," for that matter, as well. That being said, Led Zeppelin basically influenced most bands that have been any good in rock!!! Badlands were first-rate, and I wish I could have seen them live---but I know it's too late, the seasons have all gone by, whoa, whoh!!
sKummToons '66 to be honest really ,think its alot better.when Jake plays its closes to perfect you can get, page definitely live was kinda sloppy ,blended.lee hear everything with pure awesome
Seasons it’s wonderful song🙏Absolutely great RAY, but sound on stage, no so great🤷♀️Like Ray💋je crois que c’est ma favorite, l’interprétation en salle, le son , pas terrible‼️mais, je trouve que ça lui ressemble❤️2021, RAY💕💋
It's a video bootleg, the band is studio perfect here...did you see them live ? I did and these fuckers literally brought me to tears, you felt it in your mind/body and soul. 🎼🤘🔥
1990 was a great year. A great freaking year.

They have no idea what just hit them. Jake, Ray, Greg, and Jeff sinking it deep.
Their best song.

RIP Ray !!! Inspiration to singers everywhere !!!
I saw them at Maximes in Wigan..I didnt want to go....Stone me they were fucking incredible...One of the best nights ever..
Ray was GREAT but hey lets not forget the fact that Jake wrote songs that helped Ray shine ... one of the greatest bands in history
He’s underrated too
No one was ever saying that anyone else in the band didn't help write and didn't have talent.
Ray's lyrics. Now go to bed Ken.
Art of outstanding excellence!!!!!!
So underrated song.
Why these boys aren't played everyday several Xs a day on radio...is beyond me, this band was truly incendiary. 🎼🔥🤘
Ray was one bad ass mo fo on the vocals, live or studio and will remain one of my influences for all time.
Just Perfect!!! I wish I had a time machine!!!!
Let me know if you have an extra seat. I will go with you. I will bring the beer.
Me too! Late 80’s early 90’s metal was the best music ever

What I do not block, is the position of the first 4 notes regarding the position of the fingers of Jake E. Read in this video. :/
Was the club called Bananas in Orange County that Badlands played that year
SOMEONE knows that tuning is this song? For the position of his fingers, I see that there is an Eb. Help Please!
yep, half tone down. To sing it I may need two full tones down :-)
What happened to the movie that was going to come out about Ray?
Is that Eric or had he left at this point?
That’s Jeff on drums
I doubt it seriously, you should mean Robert Plant, Ray was way better than Hughes to me
