Young lady, may I just say, you are making me proud to be a woman, watching you 😊 Power tools! I love em! As a mom, I have to say great job!! You are so great!! Thanks for sharing. I should say, really, you're BOTH terrific! Great work 💚
This is fantastic. As hard as it is to find people to do repair work now, building up your skill set and confidence is important. I wish more people would start with a fixer-upper even if it is not a forever home, it hones your skills along with your mindset. So many trailers and old houses are trashed and torn down when affordable housing is so much needed.
Looovvvveeeeeeee that you shop at Habitat for humanity! I worked there for many years. Me and my ex remodeled an old bungalow together. Most everything we used was from Habitat, some things you have to buy new, but it was so fun! There's a few rooms in my current place that needs upgrades which is why I'm watching these RUclips videos. Your video is by far the best! 😊
Great job on the mobile! It looks great and I'm sure it's fun to live in. I notice your jacket said farm owner at 19:17--do you have a farm business as well? Lots of respect to anyone who can get it done with farming, renovating, building and fixing things!
You go girl I’m super proud of you your home is absolutely gorgeous I wish more young people would have your work ethic tyfs this I love videos like this much love and prayers in your new home ❤
OMGosh-Great job! This gives me flashbacks of re-doing my trailer, total gut job. A mixed bag of joy and total frustration. Your home looks beautiful :)
In my experience, the two areas that should always get professional input, if not help, are plumbing and electrical. Water can flood your house, and electricity can burn it down, especially in manufactured housing.
I think it looks great! But…. Lol I will never understand how people can put 10,000$ worth of “remodeling” and don’t even touch the outside…. Maybe in the future some vinyl siding would look really good 😊
@@breal4real460 lol! Can tell you haven't had to buy building materials. A 2×4 3 years ago was $2.00, 6 months ago, $9.00!! Paint went from $25.00 a gallon to $60.00.
New subscriber here! I have a question and a suggestion. First, the question...have you had to do any work on the outside walls or window framings? And the suggestion is when you do your final edits for upload, could you please lower the volume of the background music so we can hear your commentary. I really wanted to hear what you had to say but the volume of the music made it really hard to make out everything. I'm impressed at what you've accomplished and can't wait to see more!
Yes, we had to caulk all the windows and replace some of the boards. Then repainted them. Thanks for wanting to hear what i had to say :) Ill try and manage the volume a little better!
I am impressed with your perseverence and hard work! Be thankful you're healthy and strong. You look so much like some childhood friends, that I have to ask if you're German and Hispanic?
Here in Canada, one homeowner discovered (to their horror) that their renovation of their mobile home was all for nothing. The reason, was that the insurance board of Canada recently decided that mobile homes over 50 years old were no longer insurable, due to 'hidden' age related faults. That rendered their value to $0.00 !
Sounds about right, this mobile home is worth way more to us than it would be to ever sell. But as long as it’s worth something to someone, then it’s worth it.
@@cyracarlson I agree! My husband and I are getting close to retirement age and now live in a mobile home I've owned for 25 years. Raised my 2 sons here and patched when needed. Met the love of my life 12 years ago and we decided to get a newer model, forever mobile home and remodel. Sometime we forget we're old!😳😄 A lot of unseen problems but took our time,(only because my old mobile home is cozy😄) and 2 years later we're nearly finished! Master bath is last room and i've put it off long enough! Ready to get this behind me and move in! Like you, I found myself alone and talked to myself....a lot!!😂Congrats on your home! It looks amazing! Love the colors!
Great job!! Where is this?Do y'all worry about tornados?I feel for those tonight in the south and midwest.😪I hope your frig opens to the right so you can put things on the counter.
WA, so no tornados hopefully. Many condolences for those affected by major weather events past, present and future. Yes! the fridge does open to the counter!
@@cyracarlson I have the same frig and got upset at the man whom ordered it for me at Home Dept.I told him 3 times that I needed it to open to the left so I can put them on the counter. He didn't and I about had a meltdown a month later when it arrived. The installation men had no clue to what I was upset about etc.I went to the store and chewed them out too, which I rarely do.I got on them a few more times and they finally found some men that would reverse the damn doors to open to the left.I also whined about the guy who took my order and paid no attention to what I said.

Was is cheaper to do the tile work rather than buy a shower tub combo or one piece shower? Just curious. Tile always looks better in my opinion, just wondered the cost effectiveness.

Excellent job 👌👍
If it's freezing Temps outside, use wiper fluid in your wet saw.. Won't freeze up that way.

Looks like you got your tile off the clearance rack. None of it goes together.
Only paid like $5 for all of the tiles combined for the flooring and shower. Bought one box for the bathroom counter. LOL.
@@cyracarlson That's smart shopping there!! You go girl!! 👏👏
Hello I have a mobile home like yours and I want to put a new roof this summer any ideas on how to tackle this? Ty
We just paint it every year, a bright white so it reflects the sun
weird choice of colors and tiles but still great job :)
Great job 🏆
Thank you! Cheers!
I WOULD LOVE TO DO THIS!!!!.. I DON'T HAVE ANY CARPENTRY SKILLS.!!!!
That white tile on the shower wall is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.
Interesting tile job in bathroom
Love all you done but dislike the back ground music. What a lovely place you have.
Good job!!

Should play the background music a little louder that way we won't hear anything!
i lived in trailers for years and years. why are they made from the least desirable/durable materials?
It's homes that are built for affordability, well they used to be!🤦
What happened to your boyfriend?
What was your total cost on this remodel
about 6k I think
Did anyone else not hear a word she said?

I wish the music was not so loud. I couldn't hear you until close to the end of your video
I've been taking this comment and perspective into consideration for all of the videos ive made since- thanks for the feedback here.

Why is the video not full screen?
