A weather channel without a clickbait thumbnail? You're an absolute saint!
I have been tempted. I have a few thumbnails I almost uploaded but decided not to. Maybe on a slow day it will happen.
I really appreciate toggling surface and upper charts to get a sense of the effects in the upper air dynamics. Thanks Tim!
Another viewer from the PNW here… Hello from Seattle.
Thanks Tim! As always, the best forecast run down there is! All very good info with very clear maps. Thank You! For all of the newbies out there take a look at Tim's Weather books. Really helpful!!
Thank you Ron, I appreciate the comments.
I'm in Southeat Michigan, where winds have gusted to 50mph all day. But whay I'd like to add is a report from folks doing the Appalachian Trail, who reported brief but intense snow squalls today above 3K feet in mountains of Northern Georgia today (4/12).
Appreciate the report. Wow, snow levels down to 3000.
We live in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana.
Great to hear the report... it definitely helps me to know that viewers are in all those little pockets all across the map.
@@ForecastLab We are a weather anomaly,
the Banana Belt of the Western Mountains.
thank you fora quailty waether ; please do more alaska updates too.
Will try to do that, will just need the occasional reminder from viewers up there.
Wind is starting to pick here in the Phoenix valley tonight ahead of the next system.
Great to hear we have viewers in Phoenix.
Troughing in the east. We can never seem to get an early start gardening in E. Pa. Always too cool and cloudy. Have to wait till June. AGAIN😩
Wish we had some of that cold weather here, but it is what it is. People started mowing lawns here in late February which is the first time I've ever seen that done in north Texas.
@@ForecastLab The bigger spring issue here is cloud cover. But Ill never envy you for your summer’s heat. We get not so many days over 90°. And few plus 95° days. And again Thank you for your delightful weather programs. 🤩🤩🤩
You have at least one viewer in the Pacific Northwest. I live in Richland, WA-one of the Tri-Cities in South Central WA, the other two cities being Kennewick and Pasco. We’re located at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake and Yakima Rivers. It was originally a sagebrush desert, but now it is a very green, irrigated agricultural area. The Tri-Cities, and particularly Richland, are also famous for its role in making the atomic bomb at the adjoining Hanford area. Our weather is frankly pretty boring, being downslope from the Cascades, but it’s a great place to live overall. Dana Durkee.
Glad we have viewers there! Pasco as I recall is like the Yuma, Arizona of the Northwest... always 100 degrees in the summer it seems.
Hey ya Tim Chris here living in Victoria British Columbia 🇨🇦
Capital of BC on Vancouver Island 🏝️
Looking forward to warmer & drier weather thanks to that North Pacific high that you referenced.
Thanks for stopping by lol.
I’m following as many storm chasers as possible now that solar angles are climbing higher with about 1’ per 3 days and a 3 minutes sunlight gain.
Really enjoy your high low globally & noticed that you disregard Antarctica - remarkable how cold it remains even in December to February.
Kind regards
Oh a question regarding state or federal assistance to folks living in tornado alley or Dixie alley-is there subsidy for shelters construction⁉️
Yep, I was sure we had one or two viewers out there, I just couldn't match the names with the places. I'll see if we can discuss Antarctica some more if we can get more maps produced... currently I don't have Antarctic charts in the GFS map sequence but I'll see what we can do.
Antarctica is an ice box for sure. But the emperor penguins seem to not mind. 🤩😎
Visited your parts last summer. Quite the beautiful landscape.
Your summer weather was awesome. Cheers.
Amazing weather here along the Wasatch... soon to change though. Possible valley snow? Let's hope not - the cherry blooms are finally getting so nice!
Strange to think in just a couple of months the heat will be on full blast all across the West.
You have a devoted viewer from the San Joaquin Valley 90 miles dead east of San Francisco (me).😊
Great to hear it! I'm not from California but that kind of sounds like Modesto or Stockton if my geography is right.
Modesto
Terrible weather here in Michigan....
We'll gladly take it.
Dear Tim, please give me your contact for in house group training purpose.
