Thank you guys! Enjoyed ur travels and it was Joe and Gift that nudged me to your channel. ..happy they did! I feel like hoping on a flight and jetting over bc the temps in NY, Albany are brutal right now! Will stay tuned 4 the next vid!: would love to see a list or link of vocabulary which can enhance a. Isit....always nice to show respect to the host ppl.and country and use as much of their lang /customs as possible! :Thank you! !
Nice weigh-in there everyone! However, I would hold the exclamations for the real event- when the third digit pops up! Great video, great entertainment, and great fun there. Thanks!
Looked like a really great trip. You really did a good job on the music while on the boat trip to the island. It is so beautiful in that part of the country. It looked like the "skinny/fat" scale to the sides of that scale only went to 140 cm. What about us 182 folks? Thanks for sharing Chuck, Paige, Joe, Gift, Klaus and Toong.
Very nice boat ride, I will have to check it out during low season, the islands were packed when I was there and I never got off the boat. Thanks for sharing your beautiful vacation with us. Many blessings to you, Paige and family🙏
Hello Chuck, first thank you for your realy nice vids and seccond did you find the golden gun? Just watched Pie´s live stream, and now your vid, what a good start for the day.
I went to James Bond in high season and found it the worst place I’d bend in Thailand, it was so insanely crowded you couldn’t stand still without being trampled on. Loved some of the quieter places there. Muslim sea villages are immense
A really cool place...! The rock formations are amazing. Background music (meh) :-) When I see all these markets, I find myself wondering how much they bring in on an average day. So much for sale....not always many people. What was that lady making that was so good at flipping that round piece of dough?
I walked past the four of you in Patong last week, and I did the James Bond Island (among other places) tour on Monday. We travel in the same circles. :) But I’m back in Chicago now, freezing to death.
Unrelated topic: Just got off the phone with Bangkok bank in New York since my ACH transfer hadn’t made it to Thailand yet. They said the US has stopped that kind of transfer. Bangkok bank has to return your money. Now you are required to do an international ACH transfer (IAT). I am going to B of A this morning. He said they have gotten a lot of calls since people’s money is in limbo. On 10/3 money went through. On 11/4 it did not.
Have to be careful with ALL. ACH transaction now bc the change is phasing to more reliable and faster...like Efficient Global B2B payments and block-chain! Used ACH with my debt reduction firm for over 10 yrs!!
We went there in February. Went on a big boat with 20-30 other people, so they only spend about 30 minutes on James Bond Island and each of the other stops. They are very clear; "30 minutes, if you miss the boat, you are on your own". Also, lots of Muslims here; "No Whiskey". Overall a good trip but it is a strictly a tourist attraction and more commercialized than I thought it would be.
Hello Sir! Very nice video. I'll spend March 2020 in Ao Nang. Is it far away from my future place to take a daily trip to Phan-Nga bay? Where did you ship out from?
Carry a dummy purse/wallet as pickpockets operate, especially the tourist sites. Get the mosquito repellant in the small white plastic bottles with a picture of a flower, mainly from a 7-11 store, which are numerous. 😊
Just subscribed to ur channel so I can check the vid when U go! Might see you there as well...looking at times and dates! Singapore Air is top shelf but not cheap! Have U booked yet?
Greetings, let me enlighten you on your queries. 13:55 is called "kung sam rot heng"(preserve dried prawns w 3 distinct different varied taste cooked as one : sweet: palm sugar, sour:tamarind & spicy:chillies). It can either be eaten as hor d'oeuvre or as part of several main dishes or as a snack alone by itself. It is very commonly found in the Southern part of Thailand(aharn pak thai: Southerner food)due to the abundance availability of seafood from the long coastline in the South. However if you will to order kung sam rot only(without the heng) in restaurant, the prawns are fresh and the ingredients likewise are the same.Watch 13:55 again and watch on RUclips(type: "kung sam rot") and you will see the difference.....one is preserved whilst the other is freshly cook At 14:55 it's called Roti(in Thai), which is a round flatbread native to the Indian subcontinent. In Thailand, they served it either with condensed milk or sugar, while in Msia/Spore it's called Roti Prata....it's served with either dhals or curries. Hoped the explanation above is more than sufficient for you.Cheers.
I'm such a peasant. I could happily eat four times the normal starch, and need less of the actual sauce n' stuff. Roll on 60 baht to the pound, when it can be me, three 20 baht bags of stuff for a quid, and a rice cooker full of carbs.
555,got back to my hotel one night and the friend i was with says ''how many kiloooo you '' for a laugh i thought sod it ..91 omg ..The reception staff laughed and one of them says to me (young girl)You ok ..me to much ...i could have kissed her 😁
Aah when I did James bond island, It was 200 baht, for a day trip, including big fresh fish meal, , we were the only boat, there were no huts, signs, plaques, people and no fee, let alone the extortionate farang fee...how greed and tourism has changed it so much..
Seems CRH's been struggling with pronouncing 'Phanga" "พังงา" as "พัง-นา" "Pung-Na" for a while. The consonant for the second syllable is "NG" "'ง" not "N" "น." So it should be "Pang-Nga" almost like the second syllable in "SiNGer." But it's fun to listen to his sometimes-off-pronunciation. Keep them great work up!
You guys need to get together and hire a sailing boat (yacht) for a week. I don't know if any of you can sail but you can hire a boat with a slipper included. It is most the relaxing things you will ever do in your life. 🙏😁⛵
Question? I never hear you complain about mosquitoes 🦟, I’m assuming they don’t linger around you to much. Regards of the time of day or season, I’m always bitten by one. What is your trick or tip of the day when it comes to these annoying bugs?
I live in Swuannaphum n mosquitoes absolutely kill me in the evening. I have a can of Off with me always , day time no problems. I met an american in Roi Et n he told me nearby where he lives , within 45 minutes drive of my home mosquitoes dont bother him. Go figure !! Up to you Lol

I don't know 'street food'. What were you tasting at 13:55? And what did you order at 14:55? Thanks Chuck

Don't want to burst your bubble, but glass noodles do have carbs :D

Nice
Not to burst your bubble, but glass noodles do have carbs :D
not only that but that was the only dish that looked crap lol
Island? A small rock in water...;-) I prefer Khao Sok if you are nature lovers..
Thumbs up 👍👍👍
Last month when I stayed in a hotel in Thailand there was a poster from Thai police saying flying drones is 100% illegal in all parts of Thailand.
Word of the day in swedish?

Those glass noodles are not low carb. I wish they were, but sadly they are very high in carbs 😞

Have you heard the phrase , " You are what you eat ?", just saying. :)
10:28 It looks like a nice place Chuckie. ............... Tell Klaus to spit out the tooth pick next time he weighs himself lol.
OMG, Klaus does not look like 90 kg man!
Great photography, drone work, editing, and music. Though would be better with more of the girls and less of the guys :)
Nope. I think just the opposite ☺️
Great movie again, drone shots are great.
😁🍻
The last time I was at James Bond island there was nothing there I mean nothing... 18 years ago.
Thank Buddha you swam back alive ,Oh you got there on boat 🤣

I guess them pesky mosquitoes just has a particular taste for us unlucky ones. Thank you for your input.
