    I think integrity is most important. The other points evelops themself, but at first, you have to be true to you costumers and also to yourself.

    Integrity is critical in business. But it is also essential in one's job and career. Integrity comes from honesty, steadfastness, trustworthiness and charity. Its quite similar to righteousness. Thank you for this excellent video!

    Definitely ANCIENT culture. Not my experience but it's funny, I'm not Chinese or Asian and I fully believe In such ways. Give more than you take, do the right thing, keep your promises. Don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal and do not rationalize.

    Once, on a train trip of several days, I was helped by a older train conductor, a man in uniform; he was kindly and helpful, telling me about the regions we travelled thru. He was an older man with a white moustache; I was about 30. He provided me with drinks and snacks, never asking for payment. I wanted to compensate him but didn't want to hand the kindly older man money. So while he poured me a drink, I silently took currency from my pocket and put it in his jacket pocket; I "pick-pocketed" him in reverse. He knew what I was doing but said nothing; he understood it was a form of Respect.

    I think integrity as well. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the story about the farmer who brought back the mule and the salesperson who refused to sell the pots. These traditions as well as other concepts such as 人 are as intriguing and they are admirable.

    I know this might be a little different but I use to live in Korea and I bought a complete plate set as well as a tea set I had to order it all and wait for it to be made but when I went and picked it up the shop keeper gave me a smaller version of the tea set and well as a simple serving dish bother were for free I had never had that happen before but I will say she kept my business all the way till we left Korea in 2018

      Capitalism doesn’t work? What makes you say that?

    • @ChadGardenSinLA
      @ChadGardenSinLA Год назад

      @@artugert Capitalism in the U.S. is based off of slavery and systemic racism and oppression of the indigenous people. When the English colonized north america for (religious) freedom from the crown it required the oppression of native people and every law and legislation since then has been bigoted and racist, weaving in the current america that we live in today. i.e. first law of the land, thou shalt not to kill (except indians and blacks)... thou shall not steal (except from indians and blacks)... thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's xxx (except from indians and blacks)....

    • @artugert
      @artugert Год назад

      @@ChadGardenSinLA You might want to look up what capitalism actually is. It is the exchange of goods and services in a free market. Slavery, racism, and oppression have nothing at all to do with capitalism.

    • @ChadGardenSinLA
      @ChadGardenSinLA Год назад +1

      @@artugert You may be too privileged to see the argument I just made. People, by nature, find it difficult to see their existence/privilege as oppressing others, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'll also take your vehement statement about slavery, racism, and oppression having NOTHING? to do with capitalism as a clear sign of your own insecurities about your own privilege. You, too, might want to look up the history of the United States of America to see HOW capitalism and slavery are intertwined.

    • @artugert
      @artugert Год назад

      @@ChadGardenSinLA Nope, not at all. Your argument was easy to follow, despite my "privilege". It is just factually incorrect that the exchange of goods and services in a free market requires oppression to function. On the other hand, manipulation of markets is itself a form of oppression. There was no hint of vehemence in that statement, and it had nothing to do with my level of security. Capitalism and slavery both existed in American history, but that doesn't mean they are intertwined.

      As an ethnic Chinese, I’m also sad that Mao and the Jewish Marxist ideology have corrupted Chinese mentality and values so much, but it’s not the end yet. Education will always bear fruits if given more efforts!
