A few years ago, when ASMR first started, i listened to every vid without headphones and it worked totally fine. But now I just wouldnt get the tingles... i think its just habituation
I do. But I'm practically deaf in one ear. So binaural is essentially pointless for me to begin with. I know good headphones would give me better sound quality. But it's just not really needed for me for ASMR.

Dual speakers works for me.
