  • This is the first video in a new course of more advanced topics in linear algebra. Very much a second course in linear algebra at College or University.
In this lecture I introduce the imaginary unit and complex numbers. I also discuss the norm and argument of complex numbers. We will use complex numbers during the first part of this course when we discuss complex vectors and complex matrices.
The MATLAB notes for this lecture series are available at blogs.gwu.edu/juanklopper/edu...
I will also make videos to show you how to use Python to do advanced linear algebra. You can find instructions on how to set up your Google Drive to write Python code at • Setting up Python for ...
You don't need any Python experience and the videos in this course will be clearly indicated, in case you do not want to watch them. In these regular lectures I use a pencil and paper!
