I do have a feeling The Answer will likely be either DLC sometime in the near future or knowing Atlus doing a “Re-release of this Reload” that has just like that, aka like how Golden got Marie’s exclusive dungeon that tied into P4’s narrative and The 3rd Semester from Royal for P5.
I think rerelease the game knowing the original reload will release on steam would be a bit problematic knowing p3r would either not be available nor many people wouldn't buy it 'cause impossible to sell the original game. Maybe something like Skyrim would be possible : paying an extra to upgrade your version from persona 3 reload to that re-release, that would be more ok.
I won't lie as someone who completed the answer i hope its not too faithful to the original "the answer". Because in my personal opinion the answer took alot away from the ending of the journey.
@@sirterry2444 then what’s the problem I’m actually happy the answer exist it has a better conclusion then makoto dying and stuff and just give the rest of the characters a proper goodbye
If we're lucky maybe someday in dlc update there will be the answer story....of course we all know the persona 3 main story ending and i doubt that anyone will be satisfied. So like i said there should be the answer part of the main of the equation.
The statement from the devs saying The Answer and femc being absent seemed pretty definitive to me, but I think out of the 2 The Answer could still happen. I just think it would suck for Atlus to have the game release with day 1 DLC and then release additional DLC on top of that.... I think femc is unfortunately out of the question imo though. I don't think they'll want to continue working on this game for much longer esp with Metaphor and P6 on the horizon.
@@JVGM another reason of not having Kotone's story is to avoid confusion with the new players regarding the canon timeline of the mainlines and follow up spin-off narratives. Keep in mind 3-5 (Hashino era) mainline narratives takes place in the same timeline, just different locations, time periods, and situations. Each team faces different aspects/presentation of the collective cognition, though different, but interconnected in psychology terms. Arena connects both P3 and P4 generations, in that case, Makoto Yuki is the canon timeline protagonist. It's likely future spin off games are follow up narratives in the canon timeline.
If they truly want to make the Answer cool, they can literally go the P5 apphroach to the dungeons, make them inspired in the locations you fight the bosses of main campaign, but distorted, it would be very well done. As far as I've seen on the Demo for the game here on youtube, Tartarus feels bigger, they said they give us more to do there but I didn't think it's too different from the original, still, the layouts seems more unique. But yeah, if they want to keep Tartarus as is, then they need to find a way to make each block unique, and who knows? I hope they do. OR that they add more blocks, and make it less of a grind to walk through them.
The least they could do is making The Answer the post game content after saving completed main story, thus carrying progresses from the main story. The carried levels and Personas would ease the longevity of The Answer, making the pace faster, rather than making a seperate drag-out story campain.
(spoiler talk)The Answer is something i hope they completely change how it works. I am hoping they do add some type of social option to it. You have all this areas stock in time play with that. Make the dungeons more focused and reflecting the characters since the dungeons is born from the cast hearts.(give fuuka and koro their own dungeons too) There is also the theory behind what might happened with Elizabeth so idk how that could change the answer. I think there will be a 2nd elizabeth from the future whether its in the journey or the answer i think she wants to prevent protags death. I think she is a perfect boss for the p3 cast. She cant accept what happened so is up to the p3cast to get her to... in a fight.
Honestly that would an interesting concept and bringing it back to Persona 4 Arena. I also love this idea of making unique areas specific the characters. I'd like that a lot
@@JVGM the difficult part about the social aspect is Yukari. Since in the story is about her pushing everyone away specially Aigis. But i feel like they could make it be unlockable after her fight and her whole situation. The social aspect can be focused on Yukari's friendship with Aigis. I think it would be cool after defeating the last boss F. Elizabeth hijacks the whole thing and we have one final door. Elizabeth's door.
Hopefully they do better with side quests or take them out completely and give what we have for persona 5 the challenges instead because the the side quests are just horrible also way to much back and forth kills the enjoyment specially because you'll be grinding atleast 10 lvls to 15lvls every block that's is a bit much to high maintenance
I don't think so, base P3 is good enough so it really doesn't need the answer imo. And we are not taking into account that Atlus may change the ending, which would be an awful decision. Even so a dlc would be more likely than an enhanced version. Golden and Royal both took three years to come out and P6 is just around the corner. Once that game gets announced all the hype for a new version of P3R is going to die.
If leaks are anything to go by P6 will be out by 2026 and in between we'll be getting about 3 - 4 new spin-offs to hold us off. If The Answer happens the best time would be the same year the game released. Plus imo we wouldn't need a new version of P3R since The Answer is just an epilogue that can fit as a separate option in the main menu

A re-release was something I was thinking about. But since this is just an epilogue there would be no need for one. It's still possible though
