    Andrea Alonso has a particular interest in the visual representation of cities and towns, places where urban solutions are more spontaneous and less rigid. The painter, who resides in Mexico, tries to recreate how a place makes her feel using vibrant and striking colors that emphasize emotions, as well as the spaces within geometric arrangements. Alonso's style emphasizes visual abstraction developed from patterns and shapes. She favors oils for their texture and final finish.

    Wonderful! Lot of feelings and atmospheres in these.
    Many of your featured artists seem to have Klee influences.

    I like her work. Got the abstraction but still using houses as pieces. Interesting.
