MC here was very straightforward in his actions, good stuff. I like his mindset of just wanting a quiet school life and not being interested in dating. I like the response of “I’m not interested in dating anyone” over something like “this must be a prank,” as the former is just an honest neutral response.
FMC was getting bowled over by the MC’s smooth moves (bridal carry, wall slam, etc) while he kept a straight face. She’s already fallen deep for him and just need her to accept that. Imagine the rest of the class going into wingman mode, lol.

Ngl the female main character is fumbling the bag. The male mc could score any girl he wants and she is treating his genuine love as some silly game for the sake of her pride. This is low key how we get guys who don't take women seriously in a relationship b/c when the good looks fade and ur personality starts showing men will be like ( she isn't worth sacrificing my love, time and energy for if this is the way shes treating our relationship)
She's just too prideful to admit her feelings, that's why we get more of her internal monologue than the guy's, but the guy already know how to read her so he knows she's bluffing when she says it's just a game, and if he ever shows he's actually mad about the game thing she'll probably be finally honest with her feelings, he's basically enabling her current behavior, but he's not father so he's not gonna demand her to change, and it seems he prefers her being a tsundere so whatever.
Prop to the MC being unflinching and genuine. This girl is mad stubborn. She’s lying to herself and she going to do something stupid and irreversible if she doesn’t be honest. FMCs should stop being prideful, it just makes their intentions come off as bitter, lame and not genuine. Like a boy’s heart is nothing more than a challenge which is quite heartless.

Okay, I'll be brutally honest here. It should've been a great story if Yukinose confessed her feelings to him or if Kou refused her condition when she said that they were a trial couple or something. Because honestly, If you are in Kou's perspective right now, you'd actually be pretty hurt when she is saying that she would consider being your girlfriend despite not loving you or not being honest with you.
The first parts and middle parts of the story is actually pretty good tbh. And It's also unique to see that the MC is a popular handsome guy than the average romcom MC's.
It's just that... the ending parts of the story is very bad tbh. I really thought that this will be a good story but seeing how the ending unfolds, the story is just pretty sad and annoying, and I feel bad for the MC, It's disappointing.

Although I don't understand why she said that because in the first place, she said that if either one of them falls in love first, loses, and that's just it. And even though it's very clear that she lost first, he just accepted it unknowingly.
Although, for me, the story is still not that bad because by this, they can now be together as boyfriend and girlfriend but INSTEAD, she just said the most annoying thing ever and that is "If I fall in love, I will lose"

Aa the old saying goes, "pride comes before the fall." It was Shizuku's PRIDE that led her to end up FALLing in love with Koh.
Koh was easily an incredible MC with his honest mindset and being able to resist Shuzuku's temptations, and even countering with his own temptations.
And in the end Shizuku won over Koh's heart and Koh won over Shizuku's heart. So I'd say both are the winner here. And they make for such an adorable and wholesome couple.

Seemed like the story focused on her perspective more and more as it went on and she even gets the last lines. Usually in many RomCom Manga stories, the male MC ends up doing most of the talking and the audience viewpoint is mostly his

Tbh, story is great but I just can’t like the FMC. It looks to me that she has an ill intention from the beginning. While the MC was being real on “exploring” the feelings of love, she made it as a competition the whole time & can’t even be honest to herself. Till the very end, I still can’t like her. Story would be far better if she wasn’t like that, or changed her attitude & be honest after their date at the very least. There’s the MC who didn’t date cuz he didn’t know what love is as it would be toying around for him and there’s the FMC who is making it a competition the whole time for her pride, I’d say ungrateful that she is good looking. MC is being genuine the whole time while her being like that.
