- You’re going to the library in ponyville one summer morning when you’re shocked to find Trixie, and not Starlight, behind the librarian’s desk. She regails you with the tale of how she got there, why it’s temporary, and how YOU can help her with something she’s never been able to master. I hope that book you went for wasn’t TOO important because Trixie can go on and on…
So I’ve been a long time fan of ASMR youtube videos, and have always wanted to try one but never found the inspiration (or courage) to do so until now! I thought to myself: what character would be ridiculous to associate with calm, and soothing sounds, and only two names popped into my mind: Trixie and Pinkie. Since I don’t want to completely destroy my vocal chords, I took on Trixie instead! I hope you enjoy this 100% improvised ASMR roleplay, I sure had a lot of fun!
What’s ASMR?
ASMR is defined as being “a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.” One of those sounds that works for me is quiet, close-range talking, which is what I’m attempting to emulate here for you!

Your Trixie voice is outstanding. Especially during that one blooper videos when you got Lost Narrator laughing like crazy when she heard you saying "damn it" in trixie voice.

We need Rainbow Dash trying to make an ASMR video. I can see her just completely misunderstanding what ASMR is. She'll make the whole video with the "chillaxing" concept, but constantly get excited and all loud and explosive, and destructive, talking about stuff. A Rainbow Dash ASMR video would just be full of... loud jump scares, or be loud and insane all the way through. A Pinkie ASMR would be funny too.

You really captured the spirit/essence of Trixie's voice in this video. While she's not one of my favorite ponies considering I got into the series AFTER it ended, sadly, not to mention her being a braggart, I do like how she enunciates her name by trilling her r's.

I'm. I'm impressed by this level of consistency and narrative flow in something fully improvised.
I've read up the word ASMR on the web and according to the definition, it stand for: Autonomous sensory meridian response! and it refers to the tingly feeling that travels from the head downward that some experience in response to certain sounds, feelings and descriptions.

After listening to this a bit, not only a very decent Trixie, but the strong (yet smooth?) "puh" sounds at the start or end of some words started to really remind me of how the audio acting by that Faun in Spyro the dragon 2 for the ps1. Nostalgia trip.
