Every single time! It never fails! The most trance-educing, exiting, beautiful, songs are significantly shorter than the usual songs! Plus these songs are hard to come by! I still love it to death though.
@nationalscene they found entries in his journal with him accounting his telling the stories of Alice in Wonderland to his boss's children, basing them off of true places and events in his life in his town. There is no proof of him using any drugs for the story, but there is proof that leads to his love of puzzles, and the possibliblity of a mental disorder that lead to a majority of scenes, along with the fact that even the most obvious puns, visual and verbal, are too outdated for us to spot.
Its Jamie Davies can you tell me again please that there's more than billions of people all over the world that love living on their own and love having their own independence and love having their own space too just the same as me please reply back yes Deffo that's true please mate.
Funny thing is, Lewis Carrol's book were written several decades before LSD was first synthesized in 1938. It was about the same decade as Disney's classics, but Disney's made those 'suspicious' scenes (Dumbo, eh) before LSD's effect's were dicovered, so it's most likely none of the crew were inspired by this or any drugs. LSD came into a much more common use during the decade that Walt died, after a natural alternative to the chemical was found in Mexico. And yes, they were mushrooms.
Lately when I hear this song, I think of this dark dance hall with these weird crystal-glass like beings dancing to the beat and when the peak of the song hits 00:42, a strobe light lowers down from the ceiling and blasts white light all throughout the mirrored room and when the light passes through the beings...it creates a rainbow (as if white light going through a prism) but it is like to the beat of the song as it passes through them...okay no more shrooms for me!
@DukeTravers When I first read the book, I thought that the 'food effects' sybolized 'uppers and downers,' but then I later found out that they symbolized how during puberty no one feels comfortable in their body.
One mushroom too many and raining in wonderland seem to be the only songs I've ever wanted. They take me back to my childhood
Also loved oyster dreamland
