Lost me with the PRX. The sizing makes zero sense. It's an everyday watch without a dive bezel, which means it should range from 36mm to 38mm traditionally. You can either have it in 35mm which feels VERY small even on my small wrists, or in 40mm, which is a great size for a watch with a rotating bezel, but looks like a plate with a static bezel (unless you're an obese American). It's the epitome of a watch you actually can't wear because of the sizing.
They made it 35mm because the original Tissot Seastar that they modeled the PRX off of was 35mm. I have a 7 inch (17cm) wrist and own the smaller sized PRX. Fits me just fine. The integrated lugs make it wear larger than it is. To each their own though.
''You can either have it in 35mm which feels VERY small even on my small wrists''. When people mature in their watch collecting journey they begin to understand about proportion and history. @@jacobavis9448 I regularly wear a 33.5mm Smith's Everest, a 34mm Grand Seiko...I understand the history. There is something about the 35mm PRX which does not translate well to the smaller size. I was very excited to see them making it in 35mm, but as soon as I held it in the flesh I knew it hadn't worked. I love a smaller watch. If you haven't held one then you might not understand. If you have then maybe we just have different taste. For me, the 35mm misses the mark which is such a shame because it could've been awesome. And again, just my opinion but I think the 40mm is a ridiculous size for a sports watch without a chunky dive bezel.
@@MattSeesGray It's not so much the overall size, there is something which either changed or didn't translate when they scaled it down.
