I have had all the same small issues, with my wife when we were younger, I had an identical upbringing to you, no dad, only child, slightly spoilt by my mum, which probably leant towards my laziness to do some chores arouhd the house. I would just advise doing some smaller jobs around the house, they add up.

I love this comment, you hit the nail on the head in my opinion. Sometimes the way Ethan talks to Faith upsets me cause he's so direct and abrupt all at the same time and I can't understand why he speaks to her, or talks about her in the way he does. He's already said on this podcast a few times how soft she actually is and if you know someone is sensitive like that, even if it starts as a joke, it can start to really effect them

For you, it might be easy to do. But for others, it takes time. That's what you didn't say. Things don't just happen overnight. It seems like you want things to happen right away. It's not reasonable to happen that quickly
i fully understand faith’s stance, i think a lot of people assume because ethan does the sidemen and shit they think that faith being a mother isn’t a job. being a mother and cleaning the house alongside taking care of her horses is A LOT of work that because nobody sees behind the scenes they think it doesn’t happen. unless you’re a mum you don’t realize how much work it is especially when ethan’s working a lot of the time with weird hours so she’s with olive ALONE, most of the day.

@@bananamilk1976 there’s nothing wrong with a woman chasing a career or staying at home, which isn’t even an option for the women in families who can’t get by on one parent’s income. There are lots of women who want to stay home but can’t and quite a few women who take a break when their kids are younger return who the workforce eventually.
Faith’s stance in this is so valid. I know I’m obviously not in their relationship but it seems like Ethan needs to be there more and it doesn’t sound like he’s as bothered as he should be . Like I said , I know Idk everything, just stating my opinion from the information that’s been given

Ethan’s out making millions while faith wants him to stop that so she can ride a horse. He makes so much money from just doing RUclips and she’s complaining about living in luxury. You can complain all you want but she needs to wake up to the real world, there are people who work multiple hours every day with a minimum wage job to provide for their family. Those are the people who have no time to spend with there family, Ethan gets days off every week, faith has no idea how lucky she is. I wish I had faith’s life, all she has to do is do the house work and look after one baby.

He’s not a tradie, he’s not a fucking doctor, he makes millions by making videos and having fun, that’s not hard work at all. The cheek to talk about welcome to real world? Mate the real world is helping your wife out ONCE. She’s not asking him to give up a full dream, she just wants a break you donut. You’d think having grown up with a single mother he would understand the situation a lot more.
As a mother who no longer gets to enjoy her hobbies and have time alone I completely get where faith is coming from! Ethan is wonderful father, and clearly wonderful partner, but faith is taking on a lot of the mental load and NEEDS to be given the time to do something for her before it’s starts majorly affecting her mental health x

It is healthy to review everything that's happened in the week for self and partnership improvement but it's just bickering at this point, they aren't willing to improve, again Ethan more so. The crux of this is that Ethan’s “wants” come before Faith’s “needs”. You could see the genuine pain from Faith and Ethan’s complete lack of empathy and emotional intelligence clear as day.
Ethan is part of the Sidemen and has far bigger reputation, influence and wealth than Faith. What are you expecting? He can't just drop shoots etc

I completely understand Faith and with everything she’s said, she’s got every right to be annoyed. She feels like she barely gets any time for herself and is probably burntout but Ethan gets so much time to recharge himself after his work and hobbies!

@@drose1488 This isn’t about horses specifically, but more so about being able to have a hobby at all.
It’s not ‘her fault’ for wanting to have a hobby, which happens to be horses. It seems like (from what we’ve heard in this episode) Ethan hasn’t tried to even compromise or sit down with her to figure out if there could be a specific day out of the week (if daily is too difficult) that might work for her and she can have time for it.

I understand faith's frustrations. It seems like she's taking on a lot of the mental load (running the house, overseeing household projects, creating content for her own channel/socials, etc) as well as taking care of olive and the animals. And yea Ethan may help some when he's home but men also put more importance on their hobbies or interests. Instead of saying oh you won't wake up at w.e time say okay what time works for you for your hobby and we'll allocate some time a few times a week or at least once a week for faith to do her hobby or w.e she would like. Also contractors are just annoying to women. Constantly giving run arounds and mansplaining. They don't respect women and if she were a man she wouldn't be labeled as a "piece of work" but just as a man making sure he got what he paid for.
True but also she wanted the animals, she is the mother of the child who is the most important person for a baby to have around 24/7, he is the one who bought the house and makes the big money, and its her personal choice to pursue her own goals. Ethan didn’t want to fight Weller because he’d have to be away from the family training twice a day. But willingly starts working out twice a day for free for a Sunday league😂
Sunday League and boxing training are wildly different things mate. There's serious risk of injury with boxing, and he also has to take it extremely seriously in regards to camp, diet, training, etc, so that he performs well on the day. There's no stress with Sunday League.

The hardest part of being in a relationship is doing YOUR part FOR your partner even when it’s at your most inconvenient moment. When you’re too focused at work, too focused on the gym, too focused on finances, too focused on the kids…. It’s the people that can remember to balance that can find content in life… and you’ll notice great rewards in the future when you put others ahead of yourself …ahead of your needs and wants. We’re all born selfish and dependent…. But you also need to learn to give love before you can receive it. Hard lesson to learn.
Ethan needs to step up and be more of a father figure he's still living his single life in his delulu head. How did he completely forget Olive his only child, that needs supervision and looked after so that Faith can horse ride. If she does it with the other girl who's watching over Olive? You can see how Faith number 1 priority is her child 😭💚💚 while Ethan number 1 priority is himself. I hope the marriage counselor epsoid is real because you guys talk about therapy sponsorship but Ethan needs it the most 😭 idk how Faith is handling all this I could never my mental health would be crazy and I'd be a shell of myself if my partner behaved the way Ethan does
Sometimes he’s out working, he can’t be home all the time. There’s no need for saying he needs to be more of a father figure. Like they both said they both put her to bed, he’s out making money to keep a roof over olives head and faith is doing stuff with her at home (and he does when she’s filming for her channel) . Yes maybe some of the fun things he does he could stop sometimes so she can go on the horses but that doesn’t mean he’s not a good father figure.

But people who have a lot of money chase more and more because it's never enough for them because of how they choose to spend it on crazy luxury stuff like the cars watches etc I couldn't care less if he didn't have a child but because Olive is part of this dynamics I am really passionate about how children and kids are treated as I've studied childcare myself.

As a girl with autism, autism shows differently in boys and girls a lot of the time and I can kind of tell when someone is autistic and I feel like faith you have alot of signs that you have that you won’t even think is the autism

Being a parent is a full time job. Faith has valid points. Mums need a break too not just dads. Training once a day should be enough so that your partner can then have an hour or 2 to do things they want even if it's just to have a bath. Yes ethan may be the main bread winner but a relationship is a partnership. Faith doesn't come across as a gold digger to me so keep her safe and let her have a break now and then.

Having a 'housewife' or 'mother' become your identity means you have had your identity stolen - Faith is more than both of those things. I fully get it - she look pained by it, it obviously mean a lot to her to be able to retain some of those hobbies.

Why is it that whenever Ethan mentions Faith, it's in a negative light and it's mostly things that she's done to annoy him. I get that different relationships operate under different dynamics, but the common theme that all relationships should have is respect.
What Ethan doesn't realise is that the negativity he puts out about the mother of his child further fuels the hate that she gets. Be more positive. You can't just say "Stop the hate" then turn around and call her jarring on this pod and Sidecast.

If ethan doesn't actually start listening to faith when she brings up issues in the relationship then she will leave him eventually. I really can't see this relationship lasting forever. They might stay together for years for olive but it will come crashing down if they don't sort their shit out.

Ive been with my boyfriend for 7 years now and i cant imagine how unhappy id be if our relationship was like this. Obviously arguments and bickering is normal but there are deeper issues here. Faith is clearly unhappy with certain aspects of the relationship and ethan isn't taking it seriously.

I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with severe adhd and mild autism. From the outside you would never know this about her but once you get to know her the symptoms are very similar to Faith’s. It’s all in a spectrum.
