Installing a Holley Hydramat into the Lustang's fuel cell

In this video we install a Holley Hydramat into a fuel cell. The fuel cell is going into the Lustang which we race in the 24 Hours of Lemons event. When we opened the Fuel cell we found bits of plastic inside the cell which we removed with a shop vac, but a word of warning to anyone installing a brand new cell - make sure it is clean before you fill it up with gas!

Could you have plumbed the return line into one of the unused fittings on the mat?

We considered doing that, however we felt it best to follow the manufacturers recommendation on return. We also wanted the return to supply both sides, the idea that the return helps to provide surface tension enabling the pickup to operate - if you have plumped the return to the open ports please let us know if it works as it would be an elegant solution
