Love this video! Definitely would be excited to see a check in type of video on how the extensions hold up in your hair, and how you like them, since you said it was your first time with a full head! 😍
+xojosieelle I'm going to have a few more videos with tape in extensions. I have had my sides done before and they hold up really well. A lot of us in the salon have them! Best extensions available.
You talked about styling the hair differently when having extensions. I'd love to have extensions but I also need to be able to wear my hair up from time to time. Do you think you could do a video on something like 5 different ways to style/up do hair with extensions? That's something I'd love to learn! They look beautiful!!
+Angel Lavinder thank you! Yeah I have such a full set that I've been wearing it down. The hair is pretty heavy haha. But I can wear it up, great idea I will put it down!
thank u for the tip on only using 1 sided tape for thin hair, ive been doing my own tape ins for like 3 years and never had anyone tell me that and my hair is hella thin
This is gonna help me soon much with the diagram! Thanks so much for sharing that, i have pretty short hair so I want to make sure I get the color perfectly to match and blend and the amount of hair to be thick, full, and long. Considering the virgin and 1 pack of remy too!
Those extensions look AH-mazing on you! Can't wait to order some and get my coworker to put them in because I have been dying to try out a new brand! Thanks for the video, girl! Awesome, as always!
This video is amazing they look so good!!!! I want tape ins but I don't normally style my hair, will these extensions get a wave if I braid them? I normally just braid my hair at night to create a wave and wonder if the extensions would blend well if I did this!
Love your extensions !!! I have extensions :))) my only issue is working out..... Any tips you can suggest on keeping my hair nice without having to constantly wash my hair .......
Thank you for this video! I love it! I am now offering tape ins in my salon and am so excited about it! Yours look beautiful! The single sided tape is a great idea as well! I'm assuming instead of sandwiching another piece of hair you're just saying to sandwich another piece of tape right?
I'm a licensed cosmetologist would you recommend me getting certified with glam seamless I have the a good understanding on installing them but what do you think? Did you get certified ?
Hi just trying to follow and OMG I have never seen tape in's before!! I live in New Zealand so its not something I see everyday LOL You look amazing!! 1 question - For every tape in, do you always put a 2nd directly beneath the first, or was that only in the nape area? Look forward to your reply :)
+Nayz Anduze yeah they are such a neat extension. I love them! You either put another extension to create a sandwich or a "single sided tape" for when people have finer hair.
Its different for every place. But here (Miami) its 650 for a full 40 piece install. That's one color any length. 2 colors is 750. To remove them is 75$. Not sure how these prices would fly in other places. Hope this helps.
Pennsylvania! LOL! I live in a smaller town & while I adore my hair dresser (going to her over 15 years) she doesn't get into extensions. I do know a girl with a shop who does but because I'm not a "regular" she won't do them.
usually someone will need 40 - 80 tape ins for one head.. But that depends on how many grams whatever brand you're using has per a pack.. If your hair is normal thickness I'd say try to get 100 - 200 grams depending on the length..
What made you decide on this brand? I have been looking at different tape in companies and I came across Bombshell Extensions, but I was curious as to why you chose those extensions? Are they just the extension company the salon uses? Thanks!
+PurpleDragonxoxo I'm really particular on the quality of extensions I use. I only use the kind that have a sewn weft because this ensures the hair really lasts a long time and it doesn't fall apart. I'm the only one currently using this brand in my salon and I love them! I've heard that Bombshell are great too, but I've not used them myself.
Please tell me what brand the curling iron that is used and name. I am a licensed stylist and would love to buy a curling iron just like the one used in the video
Do you get a pro discount w/ glamseamless? I have Zala clipins that i love and im going to order tapes from them after summer. Ive heard good stuff about GS too though. Whats the difference between Remy & virgin?💗🦄🎀
I'm doing my first tape ins on a client today and I am SO nervous! She bought all one color so I'm unsure of how to make it blend. Should I add some extra tones into the extensions?
You can wash like normal. You would need to go to a consultation for a stylists to give you tips on how these would work with your hair. A stylists removes them with a special solution that takes the tape off.
*They were put in way to close to the hair line so that will create a hump and not lay flat like the naturel hair lays, a small space is needed from the root so they lay flat and not humped out all over her head, Guy Tang shows how to do this correctly on Tori Spelling, and they will feel alot better aswell, iv had them done both ways and leaving a space is much better*
I'm really think about getting tape in extensions. I have shoulder length hair and it's has a medium thickness. I was wondering how many wefts should I need?
priiincessaviles they're really good extensions and last up to year(if you take care of them), but every 2-3 months is recommended to reinstall them when your hair starts growing, The thing about tape ins is that they're VERY high maintenance
You need 40 pieces minimum. Also, most of the time people who do extensions don't go below the top of the ears. However I do since my hair isnt long enough to touch my shoulders so it will bend in however only a few pieces at the edges so my real hair doesn't show thu
My glam seamless extensions were awful. I spent over 300$ and mine were completely frizzy and fried at the end. I couldn't tell in the package because of how they were placed so I had already opened them. I was sooo sad, had to do the whole process over again with another company.
Alexsis, I am sending you an email on more info on getting tape in extensions from you. I am in Southern Cal just south of Riverside and it looks like you are in Newport Beach.
hello , sorry for my english im frenchy ! your tape are so close your scalp is not safe for your hair , its really a pity because you have really beautiful hair naturally ...You really dont need those extension .Have you see any dammage after the remove ??
I tried Glam Seamless for the first time and only got two wears out of them....they tangled worse than any other brand I've tried. I will stick with Bombay tapes from now on.
So its either $600.00 for virgin or $500.00 for remy. 80pcs each for a full head. (60 pcs per head is probably most ideal but they don't have that option) Or spend almost $500.00 for 40pcs virgin and 20pcs remy for 18 inches. Uhm that's A LOT. Wow. I get they are seamless, that's really cool but tape extensions are already pretty transparent and are so thin and easy to hide. Full shine/full hair, moresoo and the other popular Amazon brands look the exact same quality. I had to take them back because they looked too healthy for my hair lol! Its just really hard to wrap my head around this one. Beautiful hair style though!
I've been wearing extensions for years and am trying tapes for the first time. this is extremely informative
Hope you love them like I do!
Awesome! We work with Babe extensions at the salon I am at, and there definitely aren't near as thick it seems as those ones! 😍

I would like to see a video showing how to do a pony tail with this extensions. Thank you.
This is gonna help me soon much with the diagram! Thanks so much for sharing that, i have pretty short hair so I want to make sure I get the color perfectly to match and blend and the amount of hair to be thick, full, and long. Considering the virgin and 1 pack of remy too!
+Eliza-Jane Fogg it can be really hard when your hair is shorter! Good luck!
Those extensions look AH-mazing on you! Can't wait to order some and get my coworker to put them in because I have been dying to try out a new brand! Thanks for the video, girl! Awesome, as always!
+Mear Squared thank you so much for watching! They have been so much fun and I love having Long thick hair!
This video is amazing they look so good!!!! I want tape ins but I don't normally style my hair, will these extensions get a wave if I braid them? I normally just braid my hair at night to create a wave and wonder if the extensions would blend well if I did this!
human hair extensions will do anything your natural hair will do.
Frumoasa realizare ,felicitari o zi buna iti doresc !
It blends so nicely! What size of curling iron did she use?
+Shelby DesJardin it's a one inch iron!
Love your extensions !!! I have extensions :))) my only issue is working out..... Any tips you can suggest on keeping my hair nice without having to constantly wash my hair .......
+MS T A I honestly just use dry shampoo all the time. It was definitely a burden!
It looks amazing! Do you think one pack would be okay for someone with very fine hair?
Absolutely not! I've got fine medium hair and had to buy four packs
Thank you for this video! I love it! I am now offering tape ins in my salon and am so excited about it! Yours look beautiful! The single sided tape is a great idea as well! I'm assuming instead of sandwiching another piece of hair you're just saying to sandwich another piece of tape right?
+sameethehairstylist yes you got it. Tape ins are amazing!!!
Thanks for this video😊. It helped me a lot to put in my hair extensions my self
+Erica Posadas you’re brave 😶haha
I'm a licensed cosmetologist would you recommend me getting certified with glam seamless I have the a good understanding on installing them but what do you think? Did you get certified ?
Amanda Felix I see nothing wrong with extra education....I say go for it 😃
Looks beautiful..I'm getting mine done tonight so excited..
They are th best!

Great job on the video. I’m also a licensed cosmetologist. Was wondering, what is a good base charge in the salon, for taped in extensions?
Its different for every place. But here (Miami) its 650 for a full 40 piece install. That's one color any length. 2 colors is 750. To remove them is 75$. Not sure how these prices would fly in other places. Hope this helps.
Looks gorgeous!! I wish I lived near you and could have you do my hair. :)
+HockeyMakeup oh thank you so much! Where do you live?
Pennsylvania! LOL! I live in a smaller town & while I adore my hair dresser (going to her over 15 years) she doesn't get into extensions. I do know a girl with a shop who does but because I'm not a "regular" she won't do them.
How many packs of each did you use?
How many tape-ins did you end up using total?? I'm looking at getting some for myself but my hair isnt supper thick and but thin either.
I used all the hair from both packs.
usually someone will need 40 - 80 tape ins for one head.. But that depends on how many grams whatever brand you're using has per a pack.. If your hair is normal thickness I'd say try to get 100 - 200 grams depending on the length..

Does this brand or any brand make 30" tape in hair extensions?
Best tutorial
Hi did you sandwich the two different colors or did you sandwhich the same colors
This was a fabulous Video about tape in extensions and I love the little hair Diagram :) Thanks for sharing XOXO
Hi! Did you ever do a video for fine hair like you mentioned around the 4:30 mark?
I did a video in general. I’m actually moving on to teaching a method of this but my own version 😉
Hey, Alexsis! I'm also a licensed hair artist, and I was wondering how these are removed. I'm debating ordering these for myself and my mother.
How many packs did u use ? X
You would only need one pack from va-lu..com ❤️😁
Would you recommend their clips-ins?
Is there a video for single sided!
Please tell me what brand the curling iron that is used and name. I am a licensed stylist and would love to buy a curling iron just like the one used in the video
Can you get these for short hair
Can i use any shampoo or conditioner?? please reply as this is the only query that has put me on hold from purchasing
+Nekita Carvalho you want to use professional quality with lower oils so it doesn’t loosen the extensions.
Alexsis Mae is wella professional ok?
Alexsis Mae I am from India...
+Nekita Carvalho yes that’s great!
Do you get a pro discount w/ glamseamless? I have Zala clipins that i love and im going to order tapes from them after summer. Ive heard good stuff about GS too though. Whats the difference between Remy & virgin?💗🦄🎀
Beautiful color is your root ?? I want to obscure the root
I'm doing my first tape ins on a client today and I am SO nervous! She bought all one color so I'm unsure of how to make it blend. Should I add some extra tones into the extensions?
I love to sandwich two colors together to create natural dimension! It just depends on her hair, see how it’s going to blend!
Did you put the 18” towards the bottom or top?
I literally love your work!!!! I would love to be your apprentice
wouldn't it be easier to put first the underneath and the top after? what is the difference? thanks
Id just the way I do mine ;)
HOW CAN YOU DO IT WHEN THEY HAVE REALLY FINE AND LOW DENSITY HAIR CLIENTS?? OR IT WNT EVEN BE A OPTION TO PUT 2 SINCE IT WILL BE SO HEAVY?? HELP
Lorena Higdon depends, if the hair is to thin don’t go to long (12 in) but sew if will be better for supper fine hair
Can you put your hair into a high ponytail?
So how do you wash these? and I have naturally curly hair how can I work with these? and how does one remove these?
You can wash like normal. You would need to go to a consultation for a stylists to give you tips on how these would work with your hair. A stylists removes them with a special solution that takes the tape off.
Can I put in lowlights on the extensions to match my clients hair she's platinum with 8n lowlight
Did you tone before or after you applied them?
+Ashley Morgan yes I did!
I'd like to see a video on installing these on someone with bangs and how to blend to look natural....
Cuantos pares de extensiones te instalaste?
so your really puting in 8 and not 4 so when you buy them do you need how many for thick head full all up?
for a good thick full head then around 60 is about right which is 30 sandwiches.
Great video
You put it so close to the front, mine is not as close and it shows when I do a ponytail 🥲
How many packs did you have too purchase?
+Brittany Lowder one pack of Virgin and one pack of Remy
@@AlexsisMae you said on another comment that you used 5?
How long do these last in the hair?
6-8 weeks. Then you get them taken out and moved back up. You can wear your set for about 6 months to a year spending no how you care for them.
+Liverbird 55 everyone does these different depending on the clients hair and wants. So there isn’t a wrong way, some people like them closer.
liverbird nope wrong! tapeins will not cause humps unless used wrong.
Love this your hair looks amazing!!
U look so great!!!!
I'm really think about getting tape in extensions. I have shoulder length hair and it's has a medium thickness. I was wondering how many wefts should I need?
+Abby McAdams it's all up to who is installing it. I recommend having a consultation to see what you need!
how many extension did you use
Where is the purple shampoo for toning?
can u do a tutorial on how to remove these?
+Suzy Lithavong yes I have one coming!
How many bundles of hair is it on average head
Normally I do 3-4 packs of regular hair!
Thanks
+Robina's tips ❤️
how long do they last?
priiincessaviles they're really good extensions and last up to year(if you take care of them), but every 2-3 months is recommended to reinstall them when your hair starts growing, The thing about tape ins is that they're VERY high maintenance

+Alexis Howard that's really odd. You could have contacted them and they would be able to help you out!

Tape-ins this close to the scalp will not cause damage!
