Natural immunity exists if you've had the virus and recovered if you don't think it does, then you are denying millennia of how the human immune system works.
"If you do not wear a mask/get vaccinated, you are unloving" is a sly and manipulative argument. Real love is rooted in truth and knowledge, and would preclude guilt-tripping
Glad I stood firm and didn't get chumped. My parish still has a section on the side for the old folks and general coviteers that like to stay muzzled. I just think "Enough already."
Lol - except for the guilt tripping towards people who decided to wear masks and social distance in order to protect their families. They are told that they are sheep and contributing to a tyrannical government. Are you saying that that’s not guilt tripping?
@Roger is it not manipulation to accuse people of being sheep who are contributing to a tyrannical government if they suggest that you wear a mask when you are in their business or at their house?
Yes, chastising, reproaching or disowning mask-wearers in the church would also be wrong. We need to show charity to those who feel differently. But as a general observation, I think we have seen far less despising toward the masked-up than the unmasked.
My church went online for a few weeks until we realized the charade... and have been meeting as usual ever since. No deaths. No serious illnesses. And most importantly, no bowing the knee to tyranny.

Francis Collins and Rick Warren been dancing with the devil a long time. They know but their followers? time will tell. Meantime, I'm thankful to God for discernment.
I get as Christians that we need to demonstrate Christ’s love for others, but part of that love is rebuking those in power and others for deceiving people.
A righteous Christian Man and Woman is not afraid to hurt someone's feelings. Jesus didn't care if he hurt the ruling elite's feelings by calling them out on their corrupt hearts. We must remain righteous and firm in the knowledge of who God is. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Anything that says otherwise or tries to put "modern" morals on God are blasphemous.
I think it's important to remember a few things when rebuking. It's first a strong disagreement or expression of conflict, but most often expressed to others who are also Christian. Second, it's should be done in a caring way and care should be taken to understand the other person, as they may not be A Christian and no favor will be had and no sympathy, for rebuking a person who doesn't understand the concept or the gospel to begin with. We, as a part of our Saviors church, must be cautious that we don't rebuke our brothers and sister who are yet to find His light, yet, understanding that we do have the duty to rebuke in the CORRECT WAY, those of our brothers and sisters who have.
Hearing what Rick Warren said about “love” in this video disgusted me. What we believers can do to show love to our neighbors is to share the gospel with them, be the vessel for God to shine His glory and help each other overcome fear. Anything coming from fear is not from God.
The gates of Hell prevailed as my local congregation succumbed to fear, as did so many others. It made me see the problems with the institutional church. When the time came for gathering together for exhortation to love and good works became most urgent, the institutional churches closed and locked their doors.
So these pastors who said that it is horrific and dangerous to have churches open during covid are so egotistical that they are presuming that the churchgoers can't decide for themselves what to do.
Plus, I mean ow faith filled. Obviously, God would kill us off for showing up to worship Him, and show ourselves to be a witness of our faith! Yes, strong Christians, flee from everything, because we all kinda know God doesn't really exist. Psalm 91 was just some shit we tell ourselves to make ourselves feel better.
Glad to be part of a church that did not fall for this garbage. We closed for about 2 weeks at the beginning, and never closed again after. Never required masked, never required social distancing. Those that wanted to come, were welcomed as usual. Those that wanted to wear a mask, could with no issue. Those who didn't want to wear one, didn't. Those who wanted to distance while there, could. Those that didn't care to, didn't. There has never been a push in anyway for the vaccine here. We actually had a doctor come in to speak about the vaccine and offer criticism of it. But those who wished to get it, were not and have not been shamed. Those who don't want it, don't get it and are welcome just as before. It was like a little world there for a year or so that existed outside the pandemic hahah!
My local church was much the same. Vaccines and masks were not required and everyone was encouraged to avoid shaming anyone on either side of things. We're LCMS. Care to share if your church has a denomination and what it is? I don't necessarily think there's any point to be made, I'm just curious.
Well, if your church understood what that vax is and how they came about developing it they wouldn't be tolerating masks and they sure wouldn't be lax about the vax. No it's not the mark, it's actually worse.

Same with our church. We originally attended a church in the Bay Area and they went full on into government protocols. Thank God that he had a church for us that did not care about the global victimization that was going on. At first we were surprised that there is a church that actually met and even more when people welcomed us and gave us hugs 😂
I did the same with a church in Roseville, CA. Pastor went woke and I along with more than half the church left. Sad but necessary. Many tried to shake some truth into him but it didn’t take. So out the door we went.
I’ve been telling my girlfriend for years that our church is beginning to become political and they keep promoting democratic beliefs. Last week they brought up LGBTQ awareness and mention that our church didn’t have enough black people and they needed more diversity (less whites) Then after service I looked at my friends and went “well that was pretty gay” and they laughed but also support the church. And I’m sitting there thinking “are my friends seriously supporting this at church?” Makes me question everything.
We just had a month celebrating an individual group, putting them on a pedestal! The other focus was collectivism, we are done there. The pastor is focused on his agenda and the sheep are following blindly.
Run away from that church now. Or fight that heresy, and it is heresy. Let the holy spirit lead, but know that not all churches are infected with that rot.
I have underlying conditions, covid really worried me in the beginning and I was careful - for myself and my elderly parents. After a couple months; however, I remember sitting in church wearing a mask and thinking - how hypocritical of us all. We are singing songs of how mighty God's army is while muzzled, 6 feet apart, people unwilling to have coffee/treats afterwards and visit, etc. It angered me so much we quit going - until our church stopped masking us. To this day there are very few of us who will stay after, visit, have treats, hug or shake hands. We lost half our congregation over this. Churches set a horrible example for our youth in regard to fear and death. I don't know if they realize the irony in this . . .
I think it just showed which pastors are out there who are just in it for themselves (the cowardly ones who didn't fight for common sense and freedom to gather, choose a mask or not, etc.) and the ones who are true believers and committed to setting the right example of faith in God through ALL THINGS.
My pastor is a conservative. Anyone that hears his messages can tell. The only thing he would say when talking about covid was to do what we personally thought was best and to pray for all of those lost to the virus and their loved ones.

The church that Dr. Setzer teaches at in Naperville (where i used to attend), set up the "Love your neighbor" in a way that i felt that the whole church is looking at me as a murderer for not wearing a mask. Not one person asked about my medical condition that prevented me from wearing masks for more than 10 minutes at a time. Where was the love to your neighbor then?
Those churches are putting government before God. He can speak everything into existence through the word of His mouth, but cannot protect us from Covid if He chooses to. SAY WHAT!
Many but some still believe the narrative. We were seeking a new church and chose to check out some Calvary Chapel based churches. We live between two cities and when it came to decide which one to visit. The one actually closer in one city had a mask mandate and was larger and we had to seek permission to not wear one (similar to what our old church except no exception)… The one in the other city a bit further never closed and let each individual family decide how to handle masking and distancing…. Where it should be left! We are still attending there and have found a bubble of what church used to be when I grew up. We pray daily for protection from Spiritual deception and attack!!
I love that you made this video, but I can't watch this. I am so disgusted that the government would do this, that I can't watch this without being filled with rage. Keep up the good work, people need to know these things.
You’re right, it was infuriating watching this. But overall I would have to say I’m more disgusted with the church leaders then with the government. I expect this of the government, what I didn’t expect was the amount of religious leaders relying on the government and not God. They denied us Christians entrance to our churches, to our masses, and to the Eucharist. I will never forgive them for what they did. After the actions of the church in 2020 I left my denomination. I’ve become a Christian without a home.
No, you are right, but he does ask us to submit to authorities ( unless it’s denying Christ) and to pick up our cross. I can’t fully agree with the stance as the mask is not the hilltop die on. Western Christianity has become a joke and highly narcissistic. People are more concerned over their rights than the eternal salvation of the lost and being a light to a dark world. As Christians, we forgot our objectives and our purpose. Just something to consider.

10:25 This idea clashes DIRECTLY with the fact that Jesus, the example of Christianity, went straight to the leper and touched them. You can clearly see here that these pastors, dropped in Jesus's day, would have been the one's locking their doors to the lepers and telling them to watch from home so they don't infect the congregation. JESUS, the Jesus they claim to follow, embraced the leper. He didn't tell them to stay where they were and have a conversation from 6 feet away. He walked right up and touched those deemed untouchable. This is in direct contradiction to the things these "pastors" are saying.
Exactly. Jesus directly disobeyed the human-made, unjust, ungodly laws. It was AGAINST THE LAW to heal on the Sabbath, to come within a certain distance not to mention TOUCH the lepers and other sick people, like the woman with the issue of blood (she touched Him but according to their laws that would have made Him "unclean" too). That's why the Pharisees wanted to kill Him after He healed people, but did it breaking their legalistic, man-made laws. History repeats itself. I follow Jesus, not man.
One of Jesus's goals with his action with the leper was to decrease human suffering from disease. There are certainly some valid points in this video, however the idea that general public health measures to decrease the spread of covid and decrease suffering and death are incompatible with the church is also not in line with Jesus's actions and teachings. It's an incredibly difficult thing to find an appropriate balance between personal liberty and public health in the middle of a pandemic and I don't think that the government did a great job at it, but neither does this video.
I was on a church trip with the youth group a year or so ago and one of the girls (not Christian) was feeling bad. She called her foster parents to pick her up while the leaders sectioned her off and told people to keep a distance. I know they didn't want the kids to get sick, but I couldn't believe it. They told me (an adult chaperone) not to go near her, so I marched straight up to the girl and sat next to her, to keep her company and hugged her goodbye. She looked so sad. I don't freaking CARE if I get sick. She needed to know she was loved. When did we forget about that side of love? It's not about US.
Thank you for the informative video. I am a Christian and am shocked that Pastors would use their congregations in such a shameful way. Any Pastor that puts the government over the Truth is no Pastor to me.

I'm actually not surprised about how many pastors blindly went along with these edicts, especially where I live. I would see rainbow flags and BLM banners at several churches so it was quite obvious even from the outside that these churches had been infiltrated by Leftism at some point.
"The communists discovered that the destruction of religion could proceed much faster through infiltration of the church. It was determined that with only small forces available it would be necessary to concentrate communist agents in seminaries and divinity schools. The Daily Wire's reporting just keeps getting better and better. Good on you for reporting this and exposing the deep self-righteousness of our evangelical leaders. It is appalling that so many "evangelical" leaders would poise opinionated and self evaluated medical decisions as sinful if they did not follow the same school of thought as our government. I hope that these individuals will repent of their own sin, their negligent ignorance, and their haughty attitudes. Sadly, I don't think it will ever come.
In addition to this, one of the greatest theologians of our time, John MacArthur, stood firmly in his position as this report noted. Not one time did any of these men invite MacArthur on to explain his position, or at the VERY least debate it. They only sat from within their theology-lined libraries and their sacred office spaces to criticize a brother who, in my opinion, was legitimately facing first world persecution from the state. It makes me sick and furious to see such corrupted minds be so far removed from the body and so intertwined with a wolf in sheep's clothing.

My church refused to follow the narrative. This is what happened to us. We went about business as usual, trying to reach our community for Christ, and worshiping God in normal church services with normal precautions, like sanitizing the auditorium after every service, and recommending that people use obvious caution in choosing to hug and shake hands. We refused to force mask-wearing, and we refused to close our church when they “mandated” that we do so. When Covid finally came to our community, they of course attacked us with everything they had, smearing us with outright lies in the media, blaming our church by name over and over for the sickness even being in our area, saying that we were “super spreaders.” We were blamed for many deaths in our area, (some of which weren’t even covid deaths), even though none of the deaths from covid were members of our church. They forcibly closed our doors. We met in a local park under a pavilion with plastic wrapped around the outside to try to stay warm, and then in a church member’s garage when it got too cold to do that. They were so angry that we wouldn’t bow to their “authority” over us-we were still always respectful and kind, but firm in our commitment to our freedom to worship. At one point they forced our pastor to “quarantine” for two weeks even though no one in his family was sick or symptomatic. They had the police drive by his home several times a day to make sure he was in his house and called his phone also multiple times daily on video call, stating that he and his family were required to answer to prove that they were inside his home. This was punishment for refusing to follow the narrative. Of course we received death threats, threats of violence as well as many, many hateful comments all over our social media sites. They found our personal accounts somehow and infiltrated those also. There were so many other things they did, including making demands far over the requirements of other businesses when it was time to reopen, including trying to force us to send them daily reports with names and addresses of every person to come into our buildings daily with no end date. Again, we did all that was lawful, and ignored the rest. During our services they would have police drive round and round our buildings, looking into our windows and recording license plates of who was there. When all was said and done, we filed a lawsuit against the township (and easily won). We have another lawsuit being processed, and we plan to follow it as far as we can to hopefully keep this from happening again, because they absolutely will try again. I didn’t say all this to complain, but to hopefully make the point that there were many Christians who resisted, and followed God rather than man. I find Catholic priests have a lot of formative training and teaching on theology and all things to do with Christ. Not all are perfect because we are human and we sin but at least they know the teachings of the church better than any lay person.
Pastors are the ones who need to be looked at the most critically, as they knowingly place themselves into positions of leadership as Christ's closest earthly representatives. I knew our pastor was a fraud when he casually referred to himself as "just the sheepdog" one day in a sermon. Obviously he sees his responsibility as a leader as optional. He's that "buddy Christ" figure. I have no respect for that. You are right to look at them all with skepticism. Make them earn that level of respect.
I had a spiritual awakening during the pandemic. Fortunately, I found Christian Challenge and met people that respected me as a person and didn't force your views on me. This is the problem with these cases of churches and pastors following the orders of the government instead of following God's word because they are not following God at all if they are adhering to a certain human perspective on life and dissuading others. Separation of church and state was put in our country for this reason and this is really how institutions like our government and churches become something equal to the Catholic Church of the Middle Ages when they killed scientists in cold blood on the steps of the Vatican.

We must now and always be skeptical of those seeking to be church leaders and of their true sinful nature. Just like the rest of us,they were born into sin.
Ehhhh, that’s essentially just a skeptical post-modern take. Vet them? You bet, run background checks and be thorough in giving them approval. Then trust them as long as they are speaking the truth according to the word of God and qualify leaders by God’s word. That doesn’t mean they are infallible, and should never be questioned, but we shouldn’t simply be skeptical of church leaders just because they’re leaders. We must be sober, wise, test things by God’s word, and discerning, but not skeptical. Church leaders ought to be held accountable to the church and a plurality of elders, and the church accountable to their elders and deacons, all mutually accountable to one another. The modern American church is vulnerable to being manipulated by authoritative voices. The more we reduce our spiritual growth to prosperity gospel, the weaker our faith becomes and the less we challenge our own ideas.
Sadly, my church fell for this hook, line and sinker. The leadership kept the doors shut for seven months and then heavily restricted activities for another 16 months. Things still haven't returned to complete normalcy. We lost good people. Battle lines were drawn over masks and lockouts. Hypocrisy reigned among those who implemented COVID protocols. It was a devastating two years.

Brave broadcast. Good to question Christianity Today as well. Because there are questions to raise over so-called inclusive agendas in Evangelical circles.
This video is so infuriating to watch. All these “weaker brother” Christians act so pious and holy while barely able to suppress their hateful sarcasm towards believers who choose to be circumspect and think critically rather than blindly obey a government we KNOW is corrupt.
For people outside of the evangelical community, Megan is shedding light on some of the most trusted voices in the American church: Francis Collins, NT Wright, Tim Keller, Russell Moore, and Rick Warren. This is upsetting and painful as a believer who has benefitted from the insights of several of these leaders over the years, and Megan's courage in being willing to expose this information to a wider audience via the Daily Wire is commendable.
So much for separation of Church and State. All of these Church leaders will face God's judgement for their perversion of His word. May He show them mercy.
Don't misconstrue what the Constitution says about faith. The establishment clause in no way says that we can never mention God in gov't dealings. Such a shame. I really admired Francis Collins in his role as the head of the Human Genome Project. The siren song of wealth, power, and influence is hard to resist. Anyone in a high position in DC is almost, by necessity, thoroughly compromised.
Anyone who is funded by grants to do their work, research, etc., is beholden to the hand that feeds them. 'Tony is a truth-teller.' And that statement says all I need to know about Francis Collins.
Anything that says otherwise or tries to put "modern" morals on God are blasphemous.
some people think love means never making people uncomfortable... that's conformity, not love
100%
As Christians, it's also important to seek out the truth and pray to the Holy Spirit for discernment ..
Hearing what Rick Warren said about “love” in this video disgusted me. What we believers can do to show love to our neighbors is to share the gospel with them, be the vessel for God to shine His glory and help each other overcome fear. Anything coming from fear is not from God.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

So your white church teaches that spreading a virus to your neighbors is no big deal. That's radical. Did they whitewash the history you learned too?

After a couple months; however, I remember sitting in church wearing a mask and thinking - how hypocritical of us all. We are singing songs of how mighty God's army is while muzzled, 6 feet apart, people unwilling to have coffee/treats afterwards and visit, etc. It angered me so much we quit going - until our church stopped masking us. To this day there are very few of us who will stay after, visit, have treats, hug or shake hands. We lost half our congregation over this.
Exactly my point I made that pissed off my former church!!!
I never thought of it that way. Thank you and God bless!

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I know it was lengthy. 😊

my church is so conservative, it's seen as disobeying God if you disobey the government. There's a time and a place for obeying your rulers. But the mask mandate opened a WHOLE can of worms in my church. I had to stop for a while. Now we're 99.5% back to normal though. But it breaks my heart.... my home church no longer feels quite like home.
Though not Christian my dad told me he had a religious event at his house recently. On the door he put a sign that said if you're not vaccinated you must wear a mask. I didn't know what to say to him. He already thinks I'm deluded cause I actually look through things like the pfizer docs and studies on the vax. He's very far gone, but it was a new level of depressing to see him use his position in a religious community to force his nonsense on others.
It's simply not possible to estimate risk to others by vaccination status so it makes no sense to have a mask policy based on that kind of flawed thinking. If you still believe otherwise then you are brainwashed to a frightening level and there is no telling what you are capable of given the right set of circumstances.

I’ve been over pastors and their often self proclaimed “authority”. I like Jordan Peterson’s many criticisms of Christian churches today. Like him I often doubt that most pastors a.) understand what they are even talking about b.) if they do understand it, that they actually believe and practice it. I am extremely judgmental of Christian pastors\leaders. Most of the time I find them wanting and false. 🤷🏼♂️ The Church needs a revival of epic proportions.

Agree completely. The side shot is common, but totally anoying. The eyes are the window to the soul, not the aural canal.
The why is called coverage. if you need to edit two clips together cutting between two different shots is less jarring than a cut on the same camera angle.
@@MerwinMusic
It’s also a lot less boring! Watching someone staring straight into the camera head on so they appear to be staring at you is monotonous and human brains tune out. By switching camera angles, it sort of “re-grabs” the brain’s attention and keeps people watching.

The Orthodox weren't going to let the government dictate to them, and they were harassed terribly like numerous Christian churches who wouldn't bow to government.

We must now and always be skeptical of those seeking to be church leaders and of their true sinful nature. Just like the rest of us,they were born into sin.
PREACH IT!!👍
Ehhhh, that’s essentially just a skeptical post-modern take. Collins, however, is not a church leader. He deserves all the skepticism, questioning, exhortation, and rebuking that this video can provide.
@@glassmw9823 that is a very lofty ideal. Doubtful to be implemented when most of these people are simply seeking power and position. And most likely wealth.

@@sidneylittle5399 God’s word calls us to that ideal. Specifically in 1 Timothy 1-3.
“This saying is trustworthy: “If anyone aspires to be an overseer, he desires a noble work.” 1 Timothy 3:1
Not every single church leader who is seeking to be a leader is doing so because of power. Do some? Sure, but the vetting process is designed to filter them out. If you think that most church leaders are seeking power, there’s a chance you don’t believe the Bible and your worldview leans dangerously towards Marxism.
“An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not an excessive drinker, not a bully but gentle, not quarrelsome, not greedy. He must manage his own household competently and have his children under control with all dignity. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of God’s church?) He must not be a new convert, or he might become conceited and incur the same condemnation as the devil. Furthermore, he must have a good reputation among outsiders, so that he does not fall into disgrace and the devil’s trap. Deacons, likewise, should be worthy of respect, not hypocritical, not drinking a lot of wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. They must also be tested first; if they prove blameless, then they can serve as deacons. Wives, likewise, should be worthy of respect, not slanderers, self-controlled, faithful in everything. Deacons are to be husbands of one wife, managing their children and their own households competently. For those who have served well as deacons acquire a good standing for themselves and great boldness in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 3:2-13
