That wooden folding piece that y'all thought was a mirror was actually a tea cookie serving tower. I'm Egyptian and every family has one to serve their guest cookies off of.
M Kondos it’s beautiful.
I think is gorgeous. I was thinking tea and put cookies or pastries on it lol
Man, I wish my husband liked to shop with me. So fun to share it with someone
I am living all the crystal ware. I decorate with open small bowls in my bathroom to hold rubber bands, flossers, and hair doodads. I live the way the lights in my bathroom make the crystal sparkle. I just picked up a small crystal vase to put in the bathroom. I filled it with roses. So beautiful.
Such a fun video! @crazylamplady the stack of white porcelain desert plates with the green flowers , gold trim, and gold accents (14:37) is actually Herendi. A very famous and expensive Hungarian brand, everything in me was screaming when you left them. They do a mix of transfer and hand painting.
You both are always so much fun to watch. And...informative too. Thank you for all of the great information you have passed along. ❤️
I love that you picked up the red, white& blue dishes. They really caught my eye! You channel has lit a fire in me to start hunting again. Thank you.
I love your videos. It bothers me to see you put your purse in the top of your cart and turn away. I was a victim of getting my purse stolen that way. Please be careful 🙂
I've said the same in previous videos. It's awful losing your purse, identity theft and the trouble replacing everything. 😖
I have had my identity stolen, wallet taken from my purse when a 'good samaritan' stopped to help with my broken down vehicle. That was 10 years ago, still feeling effects. People are jerks. When shopping, i usually clip my purse into the child restraint. it may not stop them but it will slow them enough to catch my attention
I thought the same thing when I first saw the video.
When thrifting I keep my wallet in a cross-body bag that's very small. Kleenex, extra totes, etc go into my regular purse which can sit in the cart. But my wallet is ALWAYS on my body. And you can find those small bags at thrift stores, so it's all good.
You inspired me to go and look in the one op shop (Aussie version of thrift shop) that is open in my town. I was so excited to find some carnival glass (learnt from you) though the staff knew what it was too and it was $120...omg. But I did find a little orange vase, nothing like your giant one. I did find some other pieces, again having learnt from yourself, so thankyou. New sub here, I came from the detecting side, that's how I found you. Thanks for all you do.
One of my favorite things about this store is that they have everything nicely displayed instead of jumbled like some of the stores.
Glad you got the red, white, and blue set! Really cute!
WOW!! My GWs are NOTHING like this, but I do have have 5 within 20 minutes of me! When they first opened up after our lockdown, the shelves were overflowing! I got my first carved black onyx panther! He's a beauty!! Everyone in my family wants him! He'll grace MY shelf ;)
Wow. What a fine.
None of our goodwill closed. They had to take out radio ads reminding us that they were open.
I'm dying to find an onyx panther. Good find!
@@oregoncoastbeachcomber2060 When you LEAST expect it, it'll appear!! Your day will come!! Good luck!
Oh man! You left some fine antique English brass candlesticks! Great video and thanks for sharing! 🙏💞
I saw those too.😉
Elastics to hold items together 👍 I always wondered why they don’t use the Saran Wrap type wrap. I use it when shipping to hold things together sometimes.
Those bowls are lids to a Japanese onabe cooking pot.
Dragonflies are so popular.
I’m moving from New Hampshire to Georgia to be with family. I plan to host big family gatherings. I want to collect dinner plates , not matching just different. I see you finding great plates. I loved the desert plates you picked up in rubber bands , stacked plates on a desert table are practical.
Love to see you two thrifting together. Thanks!
The algorithm sent me this video from awhile ago, I can't believe I missed one! Always fun to see!
Love that red white a blue set of dishes
That oddball metal server is well worth buying even if it needs repairs. I think I say one like it either at Biltmore House or Hearst Castle.😉
So glad you grab that set of dishes. I was screaming" Go get the blue and white bicentennial dish set! Lol. Love what you do. Have a great weekend.
What great finds! I am so blessed to have found your channel, I love to get to go thrifting everyday or see found treasures! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures!
So i believe the “bowl” with the notches in them are actually lids to a Japanese “hot pot”. So they are lids not bowls. I have one that was sent to me as a gift.
Hi! Love your channel!!! Ive miss seeing your friend. Is she ok?
The bowls with holes are for yarn. Keeps the ball in place and you feed out the hole.
I love the brass piece with hidden serving trays. A puzzle at first 😊. Nice you were able to fill your cart and without loud music! ❤️ From Boston
Hi
You found a thriftshop with no music👍👍🙆 and packed shelves😁
It was crazy! Haha. It even took me a few minutes to realize there was no music.
I absolutely hate the music in our Goodwill. Don't they realize people would stay longer if they didn't do that.
I have that wooden tiered foldable tray. Bought it at an estate sale thinking I was going to resell it, but I ended up keeping it. 😹
I found my first murano vase!!! Thank you!!!
LOL...it's a mirror, no a puzzle...lol...my mom still has her fold up tid bit tray like that one.....I was LOL at you both trying to figure it out...lol. that was great,
Attach your purse to the shopping cart with one or two carabiners my wife does that in thrift and regular stores.
When you guys are trying to figure out what the folded serving plate is, I find myself yelling to you guys to open it up. You figured it out. Yay.
9:45 I'm pretty sure those are lids to Japanese nabe pots! There's a hole in it to let out the steam.
Yes, if she misses this comment maybe she will find out if she does a live haul.
Famous last words; “and look there’s a bird on it”.... love it. Great video!!!!
You got Orange Slices!! My favorite! They were my grandmothers favorite as well.
I can’t believe the goodies on that place. I wish had that fold out serving thingy, it was so unique.
That moon vase,fantastic!
I love that moon vase. I'd buy that for myself.
Owls find you, but they hide from me when I look for them!
Those two pieces with the notch cut out are lids for clay pots called donabe in Japan. You can see the hole for steam to come out.
Well shoot! Hahaha. They are still really pretty.
Wow! What a great store. I would love to shop there. Thanks for taking us along.
That Corelli butterfly pattern serving dish you passed up has value.
I really think you should consider buying more modern items. I have three antique booths and the modern items do better than my older items. The younger generation tends to gravitate toward the modern. I’m in Boston, Ma.
Hilariously, I had never seen one of those folding trays until the other day, and then you guys found one too!
Loved the fold up serving tray!!!
No music, lots of stuff = great shop!
I stare long and hard at the coffee cups. Cat, beachy or Elvis cups are my favorites. I only get them if their unusual and cheap, I may add. Love the red, white and blue dishes.
the bowlswiththe holes and notches may be knitting bowls to prevent tangles in the yarn
That odd bowl with hole and corner cut in it, is a lid for a larger bowl. I have one from Japan when we lived there in early 1960s.
Wow, that makes sense! A venting hole!
I was thinking that the soup would probably dribble out of the hole in the “bowl” 😄
Yes, I agree. And the notch in the cover is where the ladle sticks out of the bowl. Love shopping with you!
Loved this place!!! Lots of gorgeousness.
That “Hors d’oeuvre-er😂” is everything 👍🏻
Wow! I cannot believe how packed those shelves are. Very overwhelming I have never seen Goodwill shelves packed so full. Happy Hunting!
I LOVED it. Haha. Totally in my element.
I would have totally taken the square pyrex with the golden flowers at 11:00 . Your goodwill has great stuff. Mine has literal junk.
The folding serving dish was neat. I've never seen that before. I love the red, white and blue set y'all picked up!!!! I would have snatched the entire set too! Fantastic geometric lines! Fabulous! What is the maker/brand?
With the kids yelling, pounding, and running around in the background, I must admit even though they weren't really near it, I was feeling a bit anxious around all the glassware, lol...
Nice to see Andrew there to! Love to hear his take on your things
I’ve always done well with anything Ganz.
Don't leave your purse! I had my phone snatched out of my use yesterday at Goodwill!!!
*purse
2:13 Little Lonely Turtle 🐢🐢🐢
Yes! You picked up the Imari plate! Yeah!
Wow, some cool finds. I definitely would have bought that three tiered serving tray!
i LOVE the roseville pitcher, but blue spongeware is my collection. i wish i had one with floral decor like that one. nice!
It was super heavy! But I liked the heart design.
Those 2 shallow bowls are actually tops to donburi bowls. They were missing the bowls.
That Anchor Hawking bowl made my heart skip a beat. Love my collection it goes so well with any of my depression glass pieces. Make a fabulous place setting
Oh my goodness! Heaven!!! I could spend all day in there, just in case I missed anything
Cool to have both of you thrifting at Goodwill. I was mentioning that before on another video would be a cool string of videos to hit like a bunch of Goodwills in a 200 mi span!
Hi this is the first time I've watched your channel I think your great at picking up what you do you sound so pleasant
You got some great things, but my favorite was the moon for some reason.
When I was at the Goodwill in Frederick my purse was stolen I had worked so hard cleaning a house really hard and was got paid a 150 dollars and it was stolen I was devastated needed that money so bad! I looked n looked all over the placeI found my purse n a lady's cart I said oh my God where did you get that purse n I grabbed it and the money was gone! She said she got it at the purses! The police were called nothing could be done! I lost the money at a very bad time and worked pretty darn hard for it! I was in tears but It happens be careful!!
This goodwill is stocked. Mine never look like this.
Hey you're in my neck of the woods! That loud male voice you heard was not angry he's just a very boisterous employee. It's a very loud store with a karate studio above. Hope you caught lunch at the Kozy Kitchen. Hello from Thurmont.
I used to go to the Thurmont Goodwill all the time when I lived in Emmitsburg. It was the best. I do miss it.
Love that pottery pitcher!!
Best looking Goodwill I have ever seen. Lucky you.
The large ceramic bowls (with the holes) - it looks like a Knobe Pot (don't know whether I spelled it correctly) - a cooking vessel (Japan).
The spelling is "nabe". They are not bowls but the lids of the nabe pots.
Holly Yokoyama yes, those are the lids
Hi I love watching this & the way you show the item's I have Goodwill near me that I go to but it isn't as big as the ones you frequently shop at it's nice that your boyfriend shares your interest it makes me realize how many treasures out there & its enjoyable looking at them thank you for sharing PS I like your hairstyle
Too funny, in one of your previous videos I saw the exact lamp that is at one of my thrift stores, and then in this video I also saw that white swan that you purchased just yesterday at my salvation army & I'm in northeast Pa.
What a great, fully stocked Goodwill! You guys found a lot to treasures! By the way, I’m right down the road from Orange!
Kinda kills me because your taste is much different than mine , I see things I wanna look at and she passes by them 😭😆
Yes, I know. In my opinion, if she is buying for reselling, she needs to buy what other people like, not just what she likes. O well, that just me.
She doesnt HAVE to buy anything. She is certainly buying what she knows best in order to get the best return on her investment. You have to remember, she is the one paying for it. If there is something you might be interested in BUYING from her, perhaps a better comment would be just that. "I will buy something like that if you had it in your store". I hear her state all the time that she picks up things she is unfamiliar with because a viewer showed interest
Yes, one time I saw some antique dolls in a corner and wouldn't hesitate, madame Alexander's famous dolls, she touch the set, n said I know nothing about dolls, set was complete too... I wanted to scream...lol...
do you ever look through the art? so funny i would have snatched up so many things that you passed over. miss goodwill i moved out of the country it was my fave place
The big China set the blue and white is Joanna Haviland ( Bavaria Germany set) mom paid 110.00 for that butter dish for my set. Just sayin...
At 13:06 I saw what looks like an old ironstone creamer! I just about leaped into my iPad head first to grab it!! I’m in love.💕💕💕
Another wonderful video AN IT made my day
MY FAVORITE WAS THE FOLD-OUT TRAY
VERY NICE

That three tiered tray was awesome! So inventive!
This is quite an amazing Goodwill! Nice pieces you found!!
Love thrifting, finding some good stuff to flip for profit... someone trash, is another treasure. Been doing this for a years now, but only now collecting pieces that I can resell. Found some amazing things so far, from porcelain antiques, signed teddies, vintage barbies, NFL officials stuff from the 60s, art work from 1600s even...stuff from 300 plus years ago. Those I'm saving for auctions though, they can go for thousands . It's a joy, to find things with certificate if authenticity, adds value to the item, definitely money to be made from flipping thrift store finds. I have spent little on clothes, for my self, most of my good piece are new finds, with tags on them...why pay full price for clothes and shoes...so much out there, people accumulate, but letting go ..I'm excited to be apart of this move... I'm glad there are others who do too.. happy hunting yall
🦋I got another Haegar Planter at the Thrift Store. There’s a Goodwill Store I use to go in Connecticut that had shelves like that. Their prices were great. I miss shopping there.
You got really nice pieces there.
Nice find!!
That’s awesome! I love finding Haeger in the wild-obviously. Haha.
Yay Rubber Bands instead of goopy sticky Tape!
You two grabbed some nice stuff.love the bowl.
I live in Myersville, MD! Very close to Thurmont. Makes me want to go thrifting!
That fold up server tray is awesome!! Now I'll look for one and know what it is :). Thanks!
I like the swan ,& the wooden bowl,& your not done yet
I'm so insanely jealous of your Goodwill stores. Ours here in Ontario Canada don't have regular shelving, Just a shelf positioned over two back to back clothing racks. The selection isn't fantastic either :(
This particular goodwill always has a ton of housewares. They just opened back up and I feel bad for the overworked employees dealing with all the donations from bored quarantined people cleaning out houses
Love your videos but you are right--I was getting so dizzy I had to turn it off and go lay down. :(
I loved that 3 tierd wooden thing I've never seen one, I wish you would've got that. Did you look it up for comps?
I sold a metal one a few weeks ago. Not for a whole lot. But never seen one in wood! So cool.
I have an old metal clamshell one. Its not good for resale but really pretty.
They did buy it didn’t they ?
@@lynnedelacy2841 I believe so.
Like the patriotic dishes and the bowl that looks like wood.
Gahh I can believe you didn’t pick up the butterfly gold Pyrex at 11:30
The glasses with silver fade were kimiko... I found the coasters that go with them. But they really sell with the caddy.
That Seraphini bowl looks like it is from Morocco or Tunisia And that folding tray I could see being used on very posh picnics I love it
The seraphini bowl is from my country Morocco, safi is a moroccan town known for it's beautiful pottery
Morocco is a beautiful country - I loved Fez
More great pieces! Thank you for sharing!!
Love your arm art. Just wish I could read it.
I love your videos.. I binge watch alot. I would love it if you did some videos on what actually did well for you out of the stuff you buy... we see you buy it, and your eBay page is public, but I'd love to see a recap of what a haul cost you and what you made from it :). Thanks so much for all the information and education you give us all! (btw, my new favorite word is "trashtastic!"!! :)
