Oh yeah, he does great stuff with that group. Really enjoyed having him along on this adventure...he paddled our tandem camera kayak (Jackson Kayak Big Tuna)
Would LOVE to. I love the fishing out there and it is truly a unique fishery that certainly qualifies as "wild water!" If we can get a tourism department to support us, to help us get out there, we'd go next year!
Drew, come to the Chattahoochee, just north of Lanier, I know a remote section of the hooch, low pressure, the put in and take out are difficult so it keeps almost everyone away. It's also a long float, got to plan on 10-12hrs if you want to fish the whole way. Having said that...you can catch Shoal bass, Spotted Bass, Chattahoochee bass, Trout (Rainbow or brown) and even a striper. All on the same float. Bring a good pair of gloves, otherwise your going to have terrible bass thumb, plan on catching 20-30 bass.
Drew... Fantastic video! I fish the Gasconade River almost weekly in the summer months. Usually the Pulaski or Maries county stretches. It is the jewel of Missouri. I do have a question for you. I am thinking about purchasing the Big Rig HDFD, and would like your advice since you have fished that river. I am new to kayak fishing, and I was wondering if the flex drive would be a good choice for that river. I am just concerned that on the river, I would have issues with the gravel bars and the logs. Thanks for your input!
Around the bluffs and deeper water you have to get your presentation to drift just off the bottom around all the big boulders that have fallen off the bluffs if your not getting hung up occasionally your not in the zone
I fish the meramec current big and gasconade river have caught 100 fish in a day smallmouth largemouth spotted and rock bass rainbow and brown trout I smash my barbs to protect the fish sure you lose a few but plenty more fish around every turn

Hey Drew, I'd love to see an episode on the Middle Allegheny River or N. Branch Susquehanna here in PA!
Thanks for all you do Drew! #ftf
Great vid!
Would love to see you do a video on equipment. In particular your bait caster. I can only throw heavy lures with mine otherwise its serious backlash.
I think we'll be doing more of those in 2019, stay tuned!
Have you ever caught a chainpickeral I have caught a few they tend to be around the natural springs
