Lattafa Hala is not the safest blind buy, but those who enjoy it often describe it as somehow meditative, like the inside of a mosque or church. Woody, incense smoky, resinous. Definitely smells much more expensive than it is.

The note is the signature part of the scent because it is also in Encre Noire Sport which I also have. It's not as prominent in Sport but it is still obvious. Not all fragrances smell good and this one in particular is a stinker.

Vetiver and ink is a challenging combination for sure. I don't mind it. But it doesn't repulse nor blow my mind. I can wear it. Like ala extreme more. Love it actually. Try a decant, may be? It smells resinous, little soapy and dark. Edit: do not like the sport at all. Smells generic to me.
