I would probably never play volcanic mine in its intended way, especially as a hc. If you are just trying to collection log I would look into the capping method which is actually easy. Go in->check two vents->place/mine rock 3 times->leave game. Whole process is two minutes at a time and gives about 400 points and 45k xp/hr
@@CapeSkill If you are at seers agi course, for me it kind was AFK. I used the extend zoom to zoom out like super far and made my camera vertical. So i could capture the entire agi course within one screen, then you obviously also use the rooftop agi plugin which highlights where you gotta click and just build up muscle memory for 10 mins. Boom, its about as mcuh attention required as woodcutting and you could be watching stuff on the side.
Only a couple true AFK things around, NMZ, Kraken, Crabs, pretty much all combat. Kinda sorta cannonballs too but only for a few minutes. I've left NMZ open in the background while I'm at work, and I've gone over 20 minutes AFK sometimes with 100 absorption points to spare.

This is perfectly fine to do in solo or duo, idk why you said not worth it. Its also best to spec at the 2nd boulder spot and again at last boulder. This gives you best use of your spec as you'll be boosted where it matters most.
I think he just means in terms of comfort level. Duo and solos are definitely good and very viable, but with less people there's some situations where you can get screwed over by unlucky vent RNG if you're not on top of your game, and that can also effect the overall XP rates. Having at least 3 people means that you only have to focus on one vent at a time and as long as everyone does their role, it's very unlikely something will ever go wrong. You can pretty much just turn off your brain and with even more people you sometimes don't even have to do anything at all.

One of the reasons I feel it's quite easy to do for hours and hours is because games are 9 minutes long similar to how Sepulchre doesn't get repetitive because of how long the course is. It's actually insane that this is the optimal method for ALL players yet so many don't even consider it.

I've personally done 30hrs of granite (in one session) and been completely fine doing 126k. Imo 3t4g chiller than vm
After watching this video, i don't think i ever want to do this content. Whos bright idea was it to vote for this as a dragon pick source over blast mine? This is more complicated, has higher prerequisites, takes more gear, more resources, more concentration, a team, coordination with the team, and just overall looks miserable to play. The recent poll results with this winning are leaving me very upset.
Yeah this is way too technical for me to afk while at work. I’ll stick to my motherlode mine afk. Sweet and simple and has gotten me from level 40-89. Mine, deposit , collect. This requires pots food prayer pots and money.

So if you are using the crystal pickaxe you will be using Soul Wars cape (or Ardy if you don't have the Soul Wars) because you won't be over 35 pray with the Signet? Bummer.
Even if it requires you to use an extra prayer dose a game, the signet will save you more money than the dose. You can easily still hit 35 pray bonus with the signet

This is super simple, team A goes to check vent C while keeping the vent at 50% to cap the chambers. Damn guess it's back to motherload for me.
