I really do like it. Some tweaks here and there, but it works and I still have that cubby on the driver's side rear to fill. Need to use it a couple more times to figure out what I need back there.
Thanks. Its so much better now that I can put the bed right up against the wall of the truck. Its easier to get in and out and the room for a seat is a big plus.
One of my editing habits is to search the web for and image that will better illustrate what I'm trying to explain. That's something I can do in the field now. Next big step is getting the chair/table arrangement inside the vehicle. A lot of the time I'll be staying in Cracker Barrel or Buccees parking lots and with the Joule, I can cook a breakfast of coffee and Pop Tarts or Oatmeal inside.
@@sineriafrankenstein7316 Its $50 for 50 gigs a month, $165 a month for unlimited use. I was in the woods for most of one day, a night, and half the following day with the laptop on and connected for all but about 6 hours, uploaded a 20 minute video, and had the phone on Google Maps using the WiFi connection for navigation on a 200-mile round trip (which means I didn't use any phone data). I used 3 gigs. I should be able to use it every day for two weeks without going over the limit. If you go over the limit, its $2 per gig.
@@sineriafrankenstein7316 Yes, for full time use. But I doubt I'll ever go over 50 gigs using it for camping and overlanding to events and back. Regular Starlink can be used in a mobile application, but the dish is way too big for what I need.
You did it, Brother! I love your whole set-up. Good job!
Thanks! I do think its going to serve me well on long trips and quick overnights alike. Thanks for watching!
Well now , Sarge you got you a dandy setup there. You did a fine job to make life easier on the road.

👍 Nice layout.

I took your advice and watched the Waypoint Survival 1930s Winter Camping video and boy he did a wonderful job! Thank you!😊
Right! The James Bender video is one I will rewatch this season!
James always does a good job and he surprises me sometimes with the stuff he comes up with.
Modern possibilities for connectivity are amazing! You have also made major improvements in organization and comfort in the Big Steel Tent.

Oh I've been considering the starlink mini.
I recommend it. I'm still on my up the learning curve, but I've got the important stuff down I think. Thanks for watching!
@sargevining yeah I'm just concerned about the data limits.

@@sargevining yeah I guess it's less expensive to go with regular unlimited starlink at $120/mo

A belated Happy Birthday to Uncle Kirk!
Mine's next! We're the same age for a month out of every year.

Thanks for watching! Even though it took a while to upload, it was good to know that I can get it done.
You could fit a possum in a pop bottle!
I still had a bunch of space under the frame, what I need to do is improve access.
