  • Bachman Turner Overdrive - Four Wheel Drive
"Why can't you do something right?
Your name is all over the town.
Your reputation is sweeping the nation.
The rumors are bringing me down.
You stand on the tip of my tongue,
I can't get you out of my head.
Theres no syncopation with any relation,
Could it be that there's trouble ahead?
Four wheel drive, four wheel ride, side by side, four wheel drive.
Why dont you try to slow down?
I'm standing at the back of the line.
We made reservations to meet at the station,
    My schedule is running behind.
What can I do to survive?
    Why am I always abused?
    Anticipation of constant frustration;
Can it be that there's any good news?
Four wheel drive, four wheel ride, side by side, four wheel drive."

My favorite BTO song, just kicked ass! Admired Robbie Bachman's power on this one, and I learned to play the drums because of him. Rest in peace, Robbie.

Saw them at the CNE in the mid 70s and they were loud. Saw them again in the 80s at Barrymore's in Ottawa. Sat directly across and level with the stage. Turner's voice went through my chest, out my back, hit the seat and back through me. It was beyond loud(and I've seen the Who several times). At the Chaudiere in Aylmer they blew breakers several times, but still a great show. Tim Bachman was there. What we used to call straight ahead Rock&Roll. Best Canada ever had

Most underrated band of all time. They have so many great tunes like "It's Over" and "Woncha Take Me for Awhile" that never saw any airplay but are far and away their best songs. I saw them in Laughlin in mid 2000's sans Randy, but CF and Blair were doing their thing.

1974 The Guys were doing Metal long before it was mainstream , this is the band that made me say i want to do that and i did 35 years later watching this with a huge grin on my face this band has been way over looked since 1974 and the 2 main players are ALIVE & WELL !!! Randy Bachman & C.F. Turner
