    I'm obsessed with your videos and podcasts! I've been trying to find study resources on drinking water treatment and I finally did! Thanks for taking the time to do these, very helpful!

    Thank you Ty for taking the time to make these videos and also your podcasts. I followed your advice for taking a class for the T2 prerequisite here in California. Passed the class now I'm studying both your math dvd's while reading and listening to your podcasts. Excited about the upcoming test on 5/17/14. It's been an absolute joy going through this learning process knowing that there is an individual who shares an interest in water. Thanks again!

    Thanks for taking the time to produce these informative videos. I'm already a CA Grade 3 Wastewater operator, but I'm getting ready to take the Distribution and Treatment exams coming up. Will utilize your videos for training.

    Hello from Australia, your videos are very useful for me since I have started training as a Process control operator for a beverage company, we dont use the exact systems you mentioned in your videos but the information is so useful! Really appretiate the hard work Sifu!

    Being able to see the dry basin and the active basin by just turning around was great. Great video man, I wish you would have held the sludge leaving the top a little longer because that was satisfying!

      Hahaha ... There is a satisfaction about it! Sometimes, I would go out there and trigger the desludge manually just to watch it.

    Thanks for all your hard work. I live in Texas, and I'm studying to take my Surface "A" test. (That would be a surface "D" in Ca. ) It is all essay, so the better I can describe the processes the better. You a have a real talent for clarifying a turbid subject!-- Cheers !

    I don't fully understand the question as asked. If I miss this, please give me a specific example of what you are asking. I will try and give you a general reply... Most particles are clumped together and skimmed off the surface (in the plant in this video) during the DAF process. Some others settle out in the stabilization basin. Anything left is removed by the fibers in the filters and backwashed out to waste. Hope that helps? If not, please reply back.

    Ok... No, nothing like that will even make it to the beginning of the plant. They would all be filtered out by fine screens where the intake piping pulls from the water source. ... too bad, would be nice to find a diamond ring once in a while... :-)

    • @TheWaterSifu
      @TheWaterSifu  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Rachel. I left that part out on purpose. Although some companies do not mind me videotaping their entire process for educational purposes, others ask that I do not mention the name of the facility for security reasons.

But i dont have water treatment certificate dont know where to get certificate,anyone help me?! Im Filipino currently working here in qatar.

      Hi Herjik. Sounds like you have a well rounded knowledge base. I'm very familiar with the certification process here in the United States, but I'm not at all familiar with the process abroad. Sorry I could not be of more help with that one. I do wish you all the best.
