Not a gold bug, or hunter, or geologist (though very interested), but watch because your enthusiasm and willingness to exploit available tools are the secret ingredients to success in most fields. Constant learning is the backstop. I used to think after I got out of college I would be done learning, but could not have been more wrong. Indeed, that’s when it just starts.

Jeff, you are such a lovely teacher. I had a question: was the type of rocks in the area diorite andesite or tuff andesite? But it seemed secondary that the silicas were separated from the rock. I have two metal mines where I test for gold with my own innovative method. that I show the gold as a nugget on the surface of the stone, based on my experience, any stone that has high copper oxide has a lot of gold. Of course, I tested it in tuff andesite rocks. I enjoy your work. And I would like to invite you to see my rich mine where I got gold in kiloback grams in some veins. Good luck Jeff

When I was a young man, my grandparents lived in Golden Valley Arizona my grandpa would take me around searching for minerals and old mines. What really got me into it was when he took me to Oatman, and you got to experience the history in person anyway, enough rambling. My grandfather would take me to a place called Christmas tree pass just outside Laughlin, and we would hike around for hours and found quite a few mines out there. Have you ever been out there to look around. Thanks for the uploads it reminds me of my time with my grandpa and all the fun we had together.

Im an old fart at 67 and an old female but i would LOVE to go out there and find some shiney!!!!! I watch flour gold wizzards too an jason is pretty cool. But not as much geology. He knows where to find it tho, even in winter! I mostly look in creeks for the area im in. I just wish i could locate some really good spots like you guys do. Id be out there as much as i can! But now everything is covered in snow and ice. Thing you gotta watch for out here where im at are not only snakes, but wolves, mountainlions, and black and grizzly bears as well. Too dangerous to go out alone. Watching your videos sure gives me the gold fever! And i learn something new every time! Thankyou again! You guys sure are very special people! 😊 see ya at the next video and hopefully one of these days i can make it out on one of your trips that you provide for members. So co'mon, lets goooooo!!!!! 😊😊

After a couple failures, I finally succeeded at processing Jason's MBMM high grade ore! From the 5.06 pounds of ore I received, I recovered a 2.015 gram gold button, which equates to 25.6 troy ounces/short ton. This exceeded Jason's sample run, resulting in 23.0 troy ounces/short ton. Nevertheless, he's got one heck of a mine up in that mountain!
But he beat me on the low grade, "run of the mine" ore. Though, he processed a 1000 pound sample, where as, I only had a 26.5 pound bag to work from, so luck of the draw, whether you get a good or bad bag. Those results were: Jason was recovering a rate of 2.2 troy ounces/short ton. (and a magnificent 33.64 gram button!) I managed to recover at a measly rate of 0.2 troy ounces/short ton. (with just an itty bitty 0.095 gram bead, for all that work 😅)

I found a new way to separate heavies, well I don’t know if it’s new but I used my vibratory tumbler that I usually use to clean brass for reloading, anyway I used a tall cylindrical container put all my concentrates into it and just set it in my vibratory tumbler I then vibrated it for about 5 mins, I then just spooned scrapped the cylinder down and left the last 2 inches of material and behold the bottom was all heavies and black sands. Seems viable for desert as no water required for concentrating

Watching a vid of Ufologists at Area 51, saw the boys in the white trucks drive by a very rusty quartz vein that was as wide as the truck. Was redder than any of the samples today! Looks like that range to the south of the main gate is a huge gossan.

Hi again Jeff,. That's what the mine is that I've been working on lately... Is a fissure fault.. maybe about 4 or so feet wide. 3 veins running thru it. The deeper I go the richer and more color its getting. Only problem is is the sulfides but I think once I'm thru the sulfide zone then I'll find what I'm looking for. LOTS of silver in this mine tho. Lol. It's a mine near the Moses.

@@Askjeffwilliams hi again Jeff,. Lots of diggings and shallow shafts around here but I don't think they went deep enough in any of them to get anything worthwhile. Most of them are on my claims and I think later on I'll be tackling those too. Especially the Aura and the Lookout Mines. The Lookout mine has all that deep reddish stuff at the very bottom of the shaft but I need to rope down there and check everything out down there. From what I can see there looks to be drifts down at the bottom and I'm thinking the shaft is maybe 40 or so feet. That's the only one out here that I've found that has all that reddish rock.

I was once in the mountains hikeing and when I got back to my camp a mountain lion ate my stakes in my ice chest I seen his big tracks and my lid broken off to the side all that time hiking I never seen him o what a smart lion he was he stayed on the rocks not to leave any tracks watching all that time 😱

How Jeff acts reminds me of a kid in a candy store, with 100 different types of hard candy to choose from and 50 of them are his favorites scattered all through the store.
I know the feeling of being there done that too. my problem was I couldn't figure out where to start and stop at.
