so what if my bit rate max limit is 240 what should i put it too? sometimes my bitrate limit increases or decreases itll be around 60 max bit rate or 200+ so what do i put it in for those higher and lower rates for smaller file size thanks for any help.

30p is optimal as that is what Instagram converts your video to or 24/25 is fine with minimal change

Hey bro, I shoot video on the camera app and sometimes I upload to IG and its high quality but it flickers, does that ever happen to you? Honestly Instagram needs to fix this.

While u save the video try 1080 with 60 fps in high bit rate. When we export in 4k 60fps , in some phones it won't support that smoothness. But in pc it will run smoothly. Try that and lemme know

I have a question in regard to our FB reels. When we upload it to FB, the reels quality is going low, we upload 1080p to 2k resolution videos, and we can't figure out why Facebook is reducing the quality of the videos. Maybe you have some fix about this problem? Thank you.
He said it in the video. Instagram and Facebook is the same company. Both will upload your video at 1080p no matter what.

Bro question, if I want to slow down footage that was shot at 60 fps and keep the 180 degree motion blur, by how much percentage I should slow down on a 30p timeline? Also what shutter speed should I use when shooting? And finally, do you export in 23,97 for IG? I find it becomes choppy. Cheers bro
if you shoot at 60fps and you have a 1/120 shutter (or whateverr is close) then if you slow it down, it will remain with the same shutter speed. If i shoot at 60p, i slow it down by 50% on a 30p timeline. I shoot 50p (UK) with 1/100 shutter speed. And I export at 25fps to IG all the time. I havent had anybody tell me it looks choppy. Let me know if i'm wrong!
@@camicees Thanks for the help! It seems to make sense as I usually slow down 60p to 24p by 40% to keep it smooth. So 60p to 30p by 50% should be the best to keep a natural motion blur. Maybe in the UK, IG keeps 25p smooth. Also I don’t use RSMB for speed ramps yet so it will definitely help smooth things out! Cheers and keep it up

After upload ( HQ enabled & disabled ) : 2.44 MB 720p 16 SEC
yoru vids will always be compressed to to the same size for instagram. What you can change is how much data is available before compression.

I tested it all lol. 720p, 1080p, 4k, 5mbits, 10mbits, 20mbits, 50mbits, 100mbsits and so on xd
for me right now:
If I have 4k res, I render in 2160x3840 with 20mbits -> that works for me

Can I do this for photo
A lot of people don't know this (because why would they?) that 1080p is more than enough resolution for a phone screen. Even if a phone could truly show 4k, the screen is too small to tell the difference. I didn't see what 4k really looks like until I saw it over 100 inches. 720p is actually just fine for phones

I export at 25fps but probably 30 is best to avoid skipped frames
Here's the secret - if you have a creator or business profile, your videos will be shown in HQ (assuming you uploaded an HQ video). If you however, have a normal account, your video quality will suck. Yup, that's Instagram's logic. They're trying to be a video platform and compete with tiktok, yet they punish their users with low quality.

I use the same settings of the tutorial since years, I agree with everything and I just want to add that uploading from iPhone improve a lot the quality compared to iPhone.
The problem is that since some weeks Instagram started to randomly downscale old reels from 1080p to 720p (try to download them and check). I'm very annoyed from this, I spent a lot of hours editing my videos and they get ruined after few weeks from the upload. I really hate Instagram.
Now I'm testing if Stories highlights remains Full HD in the time, it would be an option to share our videos at max resolution...
