As someone who works in animation and video production...MP4, even at a lower bit rate looks great. Its become amazing at compression with less artifacting over the years.
This is your best “how to” video you’ve made yet! It was super informative BUT it was also funny. I’d say continue this style and see where it takes you! 🥳 🚀
Lmao, u did the same testing as me x) I tested it all lol. 720p, 1080p, 4k, 5mbits, 10mbits, 20mbits, 50mbits, 100mbsits and so on xd for me right now: If I have 4k res, I render in 2160x3840 with 20mbits -> that works for me
✋Tip, uploaded it in an iphone.🤚 Not android, not a windows PC, not a macOs device... iphone!!! Because INSTAGRAM has preferences on the platform you upload the video.
Is there any documentation on this? I had heard that if the video is to be taken in mobile export and then uploaded to Instagram, the iPhone can give a better output. But if the video is to be exported on the computer, the device that is going to be uploaded to Instagram is no different.
Here's the secret - if you have a creator or business profile, your videos will be shown in HQ (assuming you uploaded an HQ video). If you however, have a normal account, your video quality will suck. Yup, that's Instagram's logic. They're trying to be a video platform and compete with tiktok, yet they punish their users with low quality.
A lot of people don't know this (because why would they?) that 1080p is more than enough resolution for a phone screen. Even if a phone could truly show 4k, the screen is too small to tell the difference. I didn't see what 4k really looks like until I saw it over 100 inches. 720p is actually just fine for phones
Hey bro, I shoot video on the camera app and sometimes I upload to IG and its high quality but it flickers, does that ever happen to you? Honestly Instagram needs to fix this.
While u save the video try 1080 with 60 fps in high bit rate. When we export in 4k 60fps , in some phones it won't support that smoothness. But in pc it will run smoothly. Try that and lemme know
I have a question in regard to our FB reels. When we upload it to FB, the reels quality is going low, we upload 1080p to 2k resolution videos, and we can't figure out why Facebook is reducing the quality of the videos. Maybe you have some fix about this problem? Thank you.
I have enabled that option. And there is no change. i tried by enabling it and disabling it. both videos came at same resolution and same size. What am uploading : 10 MB 4K 16 SEC After upload ( HQ enabled & disabled ) : 2.44 MB 720p 16 SEC
so what if my bit rate max limit is 240 what should i put it too? sometimes my bitrate limit increases or decreases itll be around 60 max bit rate or 200+ so what do i put it in for those higher and lower rates for smaller file size thanks for any help.
I shoot on my iPhone camera in 4k … however even when i upload on 1080 the moment I add audio to the reel it’s a disaster…. I upload from my phone.. what am I doing wrong
Im making reels for traveling with just music in the background, am I garunteed to have 4k 60fps if my camera option has it on my iphone 14 pro? Not touching it or editing it what so ever. Thanks
Bro question, if I want to slow down footage that was shot at 60 fps and keep the 180 degree motion blur, by how much percentage I should slow down on a 30p timeline? Also what shutter speed should I use when shooting? And finally, do you export in 23,97 for IG? I find it becomes choppy. Cheers bro
if you shoot at 60fps and you have a 1/120 shutter (or whateverr is close) then if you slow it down, it will remain with the same shutter speed. If i shoot at 60p, i slow it down by 50% on a 30p timeline. I shoot 50p (UK) with 1/100 shutter speed. And I export at 25fps to IG all the time. I havent had anybody tell me it looks choppy. Let me know if i'm wrong!
@@camicees Thanks for the help! It seems to make sense as I usually slow down 60p to 24p by 40% to keep it smooth. So 60p to 30p by 50% should be the best to keep a natural motion blur. Maybe in the UK, IG keeps 25p smooth. Also I don’t use RSMB for speed ramps yet so it will definitely help smooth things out! Cheers and keep it up
Different for me. Everyone recommends to export at HD even if it was shot in 4K. I compared them on a dummy account with another device (in your own device reels look always better, don’t know why). 4K even compressed looks far better than hd within Instagram.
Just to confirm, you upload your 4k source footage in 4k instead of downscaling it in davinci/ premiere to 1080p first? And you've noticed higher quality? I should test this for myself lol.
QUESTION: I upload high quality video in Instagram but I don't know WHY INSTAGRAM DOWNS THE QUALITY OF MY VIDEO AFTER A TIME. Has it happened to you that after uploading a video in high quality and everything was fine for a few days, after a while the video loses quality?
I watched about 30 tutorials in the last week and this was the best one
thank yoU! means a lot
Your tutorials are perfect, straight to the point, clear and understandable
Thanks 🙏
Always bringing the best tutorials to the table. The ones that matter. Thank you for all your time put into this.

Thank you so much! In my video editor the default bitrate was 8 mbps, i changed it to 20, it works
1:42 winning bitrate 📖
First video I've watched from this channel. Subbed. This is great content! Easy/fun watch, understandable, great edits and not 20+ mins
Thanks 🙏

I’ll give this a shot with my next 4k project, thanks!
And what Frame rate ?
@@dr.manojarka Depends on the shot but usually I go with 24/30
whats your file size? do you use two VBR PASS?

Unfortunately here in Brazil, many can't afford a iPhone, so I'm basically stuck with bad quality. This get me so pissed
what abt creator studio?
I live in Brazil and I have a IPhone.
Is there any documentation on this?

What is best bitrate for Instagram reels and should I export in 1080p 60fps or 30fps.
powerful🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙏
Nice!
Great vid 👏 and what frame rate (fps) do you suggest for 4K and 1080p videos while exporting?.
30p is optimal as that is what Instagram converts your video to or 24/25 is fine with minimal change
@Camilo Castañeda Whats the possible negatives/positives choosing 25 over 30 or vice versa
What editing program do you use?
great tips! thank you 💥

Just awesome in one breath, like👍 Others can watch tutorials fall asleep, and you have fun🤣

He said it in the video. Instagram and Facebook is the same company. Both will upload your video at 1080p no matter what.
This is very handy! I was wondering a lot what can I do to get better quality reels, thanks!

why not h. 265 ? quality stays the same but file size gets smaller

yoru vids will always be compressed to to the same size for instagram. What you can change is how much data is available before compression.
How do you upload to IG? Do you just use your phone or you upload it through laptop ? Thx.
I send to my phone the upload but both work
hi, thank you for this!! is it possible to upload videos or reels at 60fps?
Yes you can! it'll look pretty smooth though
What’s the minimum and maximum bit rate have to be to render in premiere
use anything above 5 that will keep your file size low

What do you use to edit ???
