Frankly all of the "?POP" names need to go away. What country it's from does not matter to a genre of music. It's pop, full stop. KPOP stans are literally killing the name by saying "oh this isn't KPOP, and she isn't KPOP, he isn't KPOP"... Well fine... I also like the word play, the metaphors, and the references to pop culture: F&F Tokyo Drift movie, Everything Everywhere All at Once movie, 48 Laws of Power book by Robert Greene, motorola flip phone, etc. No bad language, no twerking, no showing of skin. Just pure XG talent. I listen to Kpop and I strongly feel that XG is a different breed. It feels wrong to call them "idols" because they don't fit the mold of what an idol should be - they know this, Alphaz know this. To me they're artists. And definitely a cut above the rest.
