Here is a updated/easier to follow leveling guide ruclips.net/video/arhPRHQfTTc/видео.html
As a new player I only understood half of this
These type guides aren’t really for new players. Best bet is to follow the msq on your first job. By then you’ll understand more of the alt jobs leveling guides.
@@Bhamloud47 New or not, the knowledge level was assumed in this video and they probably should have mentioned it from the start. Also, the dude talks too fast lol
@@jedolley I think he Talks normal, dosen't waste time
Thanks so much for your help
I have every jobs at max level yet I clicked the video to witness the glory of that Namazu Glam.
Your level of production/editing quality has gotten so much better over time! The Emet video was a clear example of that, but even your more typical releases have seen a lot of improvement!
Thanks, and yeah I actually learned a good bit from doing that emet video
Great video to help me explain to my friends that just started the game the best way to level up.
glad to help
tl;dr do the daily chores you already knew about for 10 years
This guide was so hard to follow lol
Yeah I retained nothing from this.
cause he was talkin too fast
This guide is fine. I'm too new and inexperienced to fully utilize the tips he provided
He assumes that you already know a lot so it doesn't help much if you're a new player.
Most i caught was keep my main main job 10+ levels ahead of any of my other random war mage jobs. then get them to 16 and spam dungeon roulete on them.
Otherwise didnt catch much else. my gatherers and crafter jobs are already 35/40 compared to my main job which is 30.
At the level 80 part when you say "We're going to stop here and move onto our secondary job" is it just about stopping the dungeon spam or does that also include stopping roulettes with it and just doing tribe + WT?
Yeah the whole idea to go from 80 to 90 by doing your beast tribes/wonderous. Now if you want to go ahead and finish the job off then you can continue roulette/dungeon spam, but if you just trying to level multiple jobs I would move on the next set.
The DD jobs takes forever to get up with long ass dungeon queues
it's actually quicker leveling with your squadron to level 60 if you have offensive maxed
“Complete the hall of novice tutorials.”
Huh. Got most jobs to level 20 so far, so color me shocked to find out that there’s another exp boost (or at least when I logged in, I got an exp boost necklace, but I’m guessing that could be for the upcoming expansion or something to welcome Xbox players to the game).
How do I start my other job were do I go
So once you've done the first few job quests(lvl 10 or 15 I think) for your first job you'll unlock the ability to unlock the other jobs by going to their corresponding locations. So if you wanted to unlock say lancer you would go to the lancer guild in Gridania where you'll see a blue quest marker that unlocks the class which will upgrade to the job once you reach 30 and do all the quests.
Jobs like red mage you have to reach the correct level to unlock them. So when you hit 50 you can talk to an npc that will unlock the job, and as an added bonus the jobs will start at level 50.
I just for shit and giggles decided to run zandor again for a lvl 88 class and it leveled to 90 faster then the beast tribe and roulettes did.
quick question, i have a limited time to play latelly, and i need to level some alt jobs to 80 (yes 80, for now at least), my question is, is it faster to do my daily rouletes, with the 3 to 4 hours a day i have, or should i spam bozja and other stuff?
Your daily roulettes should always be your top priority as they usually have to best time to exp ratio then, if in the level range, you should do your pixies because its like a third of a level for about a minute and half of your time. After you can consider bozja which is nice if you have time restraints because you can leave at any point unlike dungeons, so just go in a do a couple fates when ever you can. Also if you get the chance for castrum it usually give enough exp for a full level.
If Bozja is busy, you can get exp pretty quick. Go in during peak times (usually the evening for your region) and things should go smoothly. If you don't already have the mount speed increase in there (or the cash shop mount that always moves at max movement speed), I would highly suggest buying that first when you have the clusters for it.
But as NastyNamazu said, roulettes will usually give the best exp/hr so it's best to concentrate on that with your limited time.
Can you SLOW DOWN???? DAMN
Just slow the video down?
The best advice I can give if people get confused with what to do is this, do side quests, as boring as they might be or as little EXP you get, it all adds up eventually.
Fucking hell. Had to reduce the speed to 0.75 to even understand what they were saying at a million miles an hour. I'm a seasoned FFXIV player so I could follow along, but for new players who have no clue what is what, this video is very unhelpful. Slow down and breathe, yo.
Sooo I thought the exp you get fro pots doesn’t count outside the dungeon? Idk that’s what I thought..and some of the terms u used wasn’t beginner friendly l like some of the places u named I had no clue about lol but the other I will use thanks
potd has its own level ups but every time you complete a floor set you get exp outside of it too
