the main hilarious thing I find and love about Valkyria Chronicles was that both the Militia and the Nameless were the only units getting ANYTHING done against the Empire, the regular army were just pompous cannon fodder
Or have any ammo pouches... Or even helmets either...

+bloodwolfkoji Nah not really, you just don't see it. The army could hold territory and slow down Imperial advances. Unfair to compare in any case, Militia and Nameless were regularly sent on commando missions and never on large battlefield engagements except in the last assault in case of Welkin's unit. And there, they couldn't make a difference until Alicia showed up.
Ok with Naggiar I give them slack because its kinda hard to fight against an army with a super powered Valkyria General firing terrifyingly massive beams of energy capable of clearing entire lines of armored assaults but what I mean is that they should've been able to be more proactive instead of reactive of "buying time for the militia or our dirty little secret to do our job for us so we can take all the credit" to which I refer more to General Damon in that regard since both the game and anime proves that he was an absolute SHITTY commander

The effort put into this video is so amazing, every scene fits perfectly with the song, although you should totally make like a WW1 song for Valkyria, since it's based heavily on France v Germany on the Western Front.

Listening to this I just realized that it is about the Falkland War in 1982 when the Brits took on the Argentians.

Actually, at first I planned the song to be "Wolfpack" but it didn't fit very well since it's about navy. Ghost division would also have been a very good choice now that I listen to it.
As much as anarchists like me(I come from an area in Scotland devastated by Maggie's policys) it has to be admired she had courage and stood up to anyone who defied her. Still a cow though "don't don't the witch is dead" lol

What this anime about? It just look like Germany vs Japan in WW2 and I would wonder why does the troops with blue coat is carrying Gewehr 43 but shoot like STG 44 and weren't wear Stahlhelm
Valkyria Chronicles-- it's an adaptation of the game of the same name.
Originally called "Arcadian Panzers", it's the spiritual sequel to Skies of Arcadia.
It's set in "Europa", which is basically Europe if you welded it to Valua from SoA. Basically, there's two superpowers: the Atlantic Federation- which is basically Britain, France and Spain and the Empire- Germany and Russia, and they're fighting over Ragnite, a mineral that power can be extracted from-- it's used for everything from engines to grenades to medpacks.
The neutral nation of Gallia has a lot of Ragnite under its soil so the Empire invades to get it-- it's actually a cover. There's a secret superweapon [basically a laser cannon that fires beams that when they hit things it goes off with a nuclear blast] in the castle Randgriz and the Imperial Prince wants it.
There's also invincible valkyries who kick too much ass.
It's kinda WW2, but not really.
Although there's Jews-- excuse me, Darcsens, getting sent to Auschwitz, excuse me, Fouzen to be incinerated, I mean work in the mines.
The tanks are hodgepodges, outside of the "Imperial Tank Destroyer"- which is a Hetzer.

Can I just say The song is good but the cartoon sucks
