I just picked up a P6 pro today and it's quite sexy. All the features and new technologies are just incredible. Google is at least 5 to 10 years ahead of some of this other companies. I suggest you get one if you don't have one yet.
Yes, but sadly, there is also a bad side: Google spy on people too 24/7. So, if you don't need your phone ... just turn it off, and put it in a drawer.
@@georgeflood5873 Google knows better than me about what specifically? Anyway, if I don't need my cellphone I turn it off and put it in a drawer. And nobody complains because if they can't reach me ... they call me at home, it's as simple as that - Easy, simple, effective, and radical.
Absolutely amazing software upgrades that make l life so much easier. Love the design, finally there is phone which is looks n feels different from anyone else in the market. N at a price that a lot of people on this planet are going to love. Fully loaded and absolutely worth it
I've just received my S22 (from S20) and it feels like it has lost so many basic features. Wow, this video looks amazing in comparison to my trying to shoehorn my S22 keyboard to look and perform the same. Pixel upgrade for me on the next round!
If you are using two keyboards there is good chance that you might not get this feature. First you need to set to English US and then add other languages.
I didn't want to get a Pixel 6. The fingerprint sensor was a huge bummer to read about. But Voice to text is a huge part of why I love Android phones and now that tensor chip has catapulted their tech this far forward, I must succumb.
I got a Pixel 6 for Christmas and the google assistant is not working to allow me to use the great voice to text to speech model. When will the fix for that be available?
They are saying a lot of this new functionality is dependent on the new Tensor chip which is only in the pixel, so I don’t think it’s just a software issue
Hello, I'm dyslexic. So I have a question, to do dictation on a pixel 6 will it be the same to do dictation on a Samsung S22 ?. What I understand is that Samsung works closely with google, so I was wondering if I can get the same result by using a Samsung phone. Since I am planning to upgrade my phone, as a dyslexic person.I would like to have the best dictation experience on my phone as possible. If there is an answer to that would be appreciated.
I got the Pixel 6 Pro mainly because of the speech to text functionality, on my old phone it was just terrible. unfortunately it did not improve by much with the 6. I still have to edit after I talk and correct many words. Does Google Speech to text learn more about your accent the more you use it? or should it work flawless out of the box ?
@techferret I hope you enjoy it, I'm loving mine so far! Couple things to note, battery wasn't the best first couple days but got sooo much better once tensor figured out how to optimize to my usage and now easily lasts the day. Also make sure everything is updated so you can use all the promoted features! My biggest problem is trying to figure out if I should cover it up with an ugly case or not 😅
The Google pixel 6 sucks!! So stop with the BS. Texting sucks, can't set a ringtone without it changing back to the default ringtone. Tons of other texting features suck.

I got to say, the new voice dictation is pretty sweet with how well it works
So wait, if I'm watching kdrama, I don't need to look for one with subtitles cause the phone will do it for me !?
He speaks like he's a hostage of that phone.
My Gboard voice icon is different. I'm using Pixel 6 pro. I'm using the default settings.

Its fudd lore, my 6a is lightning fast, so happy i ditched my iphone 13
Does Tensor improve voice typing for Google Docs as well, or does Google Docs use its own system?
Unbelievable! Beautiful! Just got my s21 ultra... My next update will be Google. 👍
Siri with an i 🤣

You're insane. It works without the internet. It works great.
A kind google would release it to all Android versions ;). But eh cant have everything.

I can't get it to work

Watching from my 6a 💯💥
Been using Microsoft SwiftKey for many years, should I drop this with the purchase of my Pixel 6?
Makes no difference because the stock keyboard software interferes as it harvests data in real-time.

Then don't buy anything Android.
Does anyone have a link to a video on how to set this up - so far i cant find anything that works on my pixel 6

@techferret I'd say it's a great phone in general, but if the only purpose of getting it is for the dictation i say no. My old Pixel 2 works as good
For me, the speech transcriber is amazing. I'm actually using it to type this comment and so far I haven't had any issues.

The Pixel 6 feels like typing with mittens on. The WORST Android experience since the Droid Incredible.
Can samsung flagship do this?
The problem is needed to tap
Why isn't this working for my 6pro ?
Ah, when you get the phone you have to update all the apps. Interesting. They do not come shipped already updated

I agree. Texting is a frustrating, horrendously time-wasting experience.
Why only pixel, fark off Google
because of the tensor chip
This would be due to them needing power and functionality not offered by other chipsets, yet.
You think you crap cpu can run this tensor embedded with this
