Although you wouldn't be able to use it to hold water, if you wanted to not have the paint pool up around a textured bottle, paint the inside instead. Just pour some in and then use the tilt and roll technique to coat, then let it dry upside down. If you get bubbles, you can use a heat gun sparingly to get them to pop. =)
I’ve used the clear Elmer’s glue and it does very well. Not a sea glass look per say but it does have that stained glass effect and beautiful none the less. Thx for sharing!!
I don't know. I think it will end up too diluted for a true red. Maybe a little acrylic paint might work better for a true red? But honestly, I'm not sure.

You're suppose to add water to the mix. 2 parts glue and 1 part water and a few drops of food coloring
Thanks, I didn't know that. :)
Oh good, I’ve wondered about this pin.
Warning dont put in water...I did a bunch and had one outside ...beautiful until it rained☹
What if you want red? Just add more food coloring?

Can gel food coloring be used?
Yes, gel works just as well for this craft. :)
Could you sub mod pog for the glue to make it water proof
I believe modge podge would be more water resistant, but I don't think it's truly waterproof or could go through the dishwasher.
Thanks love this craft gonna give the kids a nice Christmas craft to do over the break
@@elyseirish6300 Sounds awesome! Hope they have a blast!
