It is always such a great day when you find a hoist and with a skip bucket as well. Nice headframe and wheel still up on the top. That was a great find. Love your pics.
do believe the barrel @ 500 is a keg which nails came in. were still in use in mid to late 50's. looks familiar. like your vids. more comfy viewing in my mancave than exploring, again many memories. thanks.
Hi, the stoping going through the mine is crazy, I love that little skip cart it's kinda cute actually lol, I can't imagine it held much ore on each run. I wouldn't like to see or smell what was in that jar where all the artifacts were lol, still the rest of the artifacts were really cool to see. Some nicely made timber sets in there too which is always nice to see. Thanks for sharing. xx💙
Oooooo that intro map #satisfying Also I would shower you with all the internet love to see a bag of trash (not artifacts) you all took back out at the end of the video. Depressing to see bottles/cans/food wrappers that others leave behind :(
That pneumatic hoist is so cool. On the subject of the old sticks of dynamite, how sensitive would they actually be? That would depend on moisture I guess? I figure that at least some (of the legions of them laying around old mines) must have gone off when rocks fell onto them.
Those maps at the start top down or side on? I'm not sure how to read them, the levels (400, 500, 600, etc) are all vertical right? Also, how do those levels work? Are they just like "500 feet deep" level?
Do you know if this is the famous Argonaut mine of the Mother Lode, sister mine to the Kennedy in Jackson Calif?????????????? can't get a answer out of the site people......they don't respond at all, just wondering if you knew?..............thanks.............ray
Is this the famous Argonaut mine of the Mother Lode in Northern California? Jackson has one called that, along with the famous Kennedy mine which went down almost 6,000 feet, deepest mine in the USA ever.................just wondering...........................please respond.................thanks
great video!! We are from Norway and we uploaded a «exploring an abandoned farm» video if you want to check us out. There is other exploring videos too. We also just subscribed to your channel :)
Happy Mine Monday! This was the most complicated mine map I’ve ever had to create! Hope you enjoy, Part 4 will be up next Monday!

Awesome mine and relics, i really apreciate the good lighting and photos!
This is by far one of the best mine explore videos I've seen in a couple of months. (compared to other channels) It really made my day. Thanks!
Oldpolcat Your comment made my day! Thanks for watching!
Man your vids are always such high quality. You deserve way more subs than you have.
Joshua Sutherland Much appreciated!
I agree, I believe this channel will expload in size.
I wish this series was 5 1 hour long episodes. Fascinating Videos!! Keep'em coming
Jon Clarke Thanks a lot for the kind words. Hopefully I can revisit this one and film the lower levels for you guys to enjoy!
This is a mine(d) blower! What an awesome explore! Can't wait for more...........
Terry Stewart Haha, thanks for watching!!
Young man seems very knowledgeable of the mining equipment . A very interesting and enjoyable view thanks

Amazing video👍👌👌

That hoist looks like it still is in good working order. It needs to be saved and put on display.
This is a perfect example of why the locations of these mines aren't given. People always want to loot the place to "preserve" it
I watch a lot of these. Your lighting and/or camera on this is excellent. What are you using?
Ian Evans Thanks! I use a Sony a7III with a Sigma 14mm lens. Lighting is a Neewer 160-LED panel light.
Score! Sweet mine to explore crazy amount of artifacts! Looks like their are Lots of false floors.
Outstanding exploration. Surprized there were no dynomite boxes laying around. Maybe they were good mine keepers.
HollywoodGraham Yeah I think previous explorers have taken most of the dynamite boxes from this one. Thanks for watching!

That winch is real nice. Looks like with a bit of work it would be made usable again.
Loved the things they left behind was that a small ore cart there at the shaft at the lift ?
How did they get all that equipment down there, bring it in piece by piece? Must have difficult.
The dynamite is an anti theft device.

(Don't worry, I'm not going to go poking around any of them, or in any mine for that matter. I'm too tall and not fit enough for any such endeavour.)
Man, so many interesting rocks & minerals - I'd have never made it out with the hundreds of pounds of samples I'd see. ;*[}

Melon Lord They are plan view, so looking down.
wouldnt it be nice to find one of those 1,0000 dollar pair of levi blue jeans in the mine!!
I am from to India amazing video thank you👌👌
At around the 10:58 mark what is the plastic bag with all the colors? Pos a wonder bread wrapper?
ScLmRaceFanPhotos Yeah it was a Wonder Bread bag!
Why do they backfill a lot of the stopes? Seems like a recipe for disaster if the timber gives way
I think this might be one of my favorite mines. I wonder what they were mining.... gold?
Vegas Cycling Freak One of my favorites too! They were mining silver, lead, zinc!

So these guys were mining during WW1? Where is this mine?
👍👌🔥😷
They didn’t saw off that pick axe..... they used it to oblivion!!! They wore it down all those years
Is this the famous Argonaut mine of the Mother Lode in Northern California? Jackson has one called that, along with the famous Kennedy mine which went down almost 6,000 feet, deepest mine in the USA ever.................just wondering...........................please respond.................thanks
ray lowery No this is not the same mine.
I guess you can ask the same question over and over again. But it the same answer. NO!
Fantastic Video and great finds of mining stuff. Stay Safe and c v 19 free
rdamp 23 Thank you for watching, very glad you enjoyed! Stay healthy!
at 1.28, the white spot on the beam above the hoist used to be a stick of dynamite, somebody removed it
ah it was still there
Why can't government keep out of our private life and interests.
great video!!
