    Very nice garden patch. Do you eat your Nasturtium leaves? Kind of peppery with a slight lemon taste. I love them i salad.

      +The Man With The Hat here water is very expensive (0,04€/10 liter) so we use a water collecter for the garden!

    • @TheManWithTheHat
      @TheManWithTheHat  8 лет назад +1

      I also have a water collector. And I'm making one for my mother on Monday.

    you can do it with tape.. you just wrap the tape to make like a bulge around the hose and then tie some strong cord behind it to loop around the bottle. Then when the water is on the bottle expands and squeezes tighter into the tape. works with quite high pressure (the force will be equalized squeezing the tape bulge from both sides) I was covering a good area and it is easy to switch bottles.

    Interesting idea though you still have to turn the water on , unless you want to come home to a garden pond when you return from your holidays ... btw that small vegetable patch has it had sweep running through it ... lol

    @Matthew-4114 8 лет назад +1

    You could poke holes in the bottle and bury it to water deep roots.

    • @TheManWithTheHat
      @TheManWithTheHat  8 лет назад +1

      That's a great idea. Wish I'd thought of that. But the video was completely impromptu ;)

    @troywales983 8 лет назад +3

    good idea , but it would be easier just to hang the original hose above the plants

    Why not used a soldering iron with a smaller tip. It's get the job done faster 😄😄
