Red Deer school district already implementing pronoun policies: Report | Xtra Magazine

Alberta premier Danielle Smith said her new LGBTQ2S+ policies likely won't be voted on or introduced until the fall. But that hasn't stopped at least one school district from reportedly moving forward with pronouns and gender disclosure policies. According a March 11, 2024 Postmedia report, the Red Deer Catholic Regional School District has put new directives towards teachers in place, which include pronoun disclosure policies and the removal of some Pride materials from classrooms.
